Leisurely Farm Life in Beast World

Chapter 1167 - 1166: The Little Cubs

And there were even two thick Beast Skin cushions. Sleeping on them during the cold season—how warm would that be?

"Thank you, Shaman Ji Nuan." The two little ones touched their soft, warm Beast Skin clothes. Their small eyes glimmered with affection, and in their tiny, crisp voices, they thanked Ji Nuan.

Ji Nuan waved her hand with a smile, "Go back now."

With permission from the Shaman, the two little ones cheerfully ran back to their Amu and A-Father.

Ji Nuan turned to the middle-aged Orc, whose eyes were slightly red. "Gather the small beastlings in the Tribe."

Hearing Shaman Ji Nuan’s words, the middle-aged Orc’s lips moved a few times. Finally, he turned around stealthily to wipe his eyes before looking at the visibly emotional tribespeople. "All the small beastlings in the Tribe, come to Shaman Ji Nuan!"

With the earlier example of the two small female beastlings, the Orcs immediately understood Shaman Ji Nuan’s intentions. Even the small beastlings shifted their envious gazes away from the two girls.

They ran excitedly toward Shaman Ji Nuan, who was seated in the front, then obediently lined up in a row.

Looking at the well-behaved young ones, Ji Nuan’s heart softened immeasurably. Smiling, she draped each of them with a soft, warm Beast Skin cushion. "This Beast Skin cushion is for you. I hope you grow up to be the bravest and strongest Orcs, hunt more wild beasts, and bring back more food."

After blessing each of the small beastlings one by one, she waved her hand to send them off.

The little ones carried their own Beast Skin cushions on their backs, letting out tender cries as they rushed toward their parents.

Then, they carefully placed the Beast Skin cushions on the ground, gingerly lay down on them, and their round eyes contentedly squinted into a relaxed curve.

That night, the usually restless small beastlings who would wander everywhere before bedtime were surprisingly obedient. They nestled early onto their Beast Skin cushions and began to snore softly, without any urging from their A-Fathers or Amus.

Just goes to show—it wasn’t that we refused to sleep; it’s simply that the conditions were too terrible!

"Thank you, Shaman Ji Nuan. Thank you for the help you’ve given our Tribe, for the blessing and the Beast Skin for the young ones. It’s truly precious."

The small beastlings are the hope of the Tribe. Their healthy growth represents the continuation of the next generation. Ji Nuan’s care for them instantly won the hearts of all tribespeople.

Ji Nuan waved her hand lightly. "During the last hunt, we obtained a lot of Beast Skin. It’s perfect for the little ones. No need to say such polite things."

The middle-aged Orc nodded tearfully and then presented the Tribe’s only remaining whole Firebird to Ji Nuan.

As for the tender and delicious Firebird, Ji Nuan had no reason to refuse; she accepted it straightforwardly.

The evening meal concluded in a lively atmosphere, yet just before leaving, Ji Nuan remembered something very important.

She turned toward Harry. "Shaman Harry, come by our tent later. There’s something crucial I need to discuss with you."

Harry exchanged glances with Casa and nodded. "Alright, we’ll grab a piece of Beast Skin and head over."

"Casa, what do you think Shaman Ji Nuan wants to talk to us about?" Harry asked as he took out his last remaining piece of Beast Skin to drape over himself.

Casa shook his head, giving Harry a mildly disdainful look. "You’ll find out when we’re there."

Around the firepit outside Ji Nuan’s tent, Beast Skin cushions had already been laid out. As soon as Harry and the other Orcs arrived, they each found a spot and sat down.
