Leisurely Farm Life in Beast World

They have arrived at a place completely devoid of any animal presence.

It was as if sensing Ji Nuan’s anxiety, Xiu Yan guided Damao to Maomao’s side. His well-defined large hand gently stroked Ji Nuan’s hair, and his deep, feminine voice soothed the beast, "Don’t worry, I’m here."

Ji Nuan was simply frustrated by the monotonous scenery she had seen over the past few days.

What seemed like not a very distant place took Maomao and the others almost half a day to reach, and after climbing over a sand dune, Ji Nuan and her group finally understood why the camels were so excited.

An oasis appeared in front of them.

The oasis was tiny, only about the size of a small tribe’s territory. Looking down from the sand dune, it was as if a small forest tribe’s territory had been transplanted there.

The sight of the oasis instantly uplifted Ji Nuan’s spirits: "There’s an oasis ahead; we can finally have a good rest for a few days, haha."

The vegetation here wasn’t very lush, but compared to the lifeless desert, it was simply heavenly.

Upon reaching the oasis, Maomao and his companions swarmed to the edge of the lake, gulping down water as if to replenish all the fluid lost over time.

Casa and Norz consciously patrolled around the oasis.

"There are no signs of Orc activity here, but there are many wildlife footprints, most notably those of wolves. In the bushes ahead, there’s their droppings, with the unmistakable scent of Wolf Beasts," Casa came back first, sharing his findings with everyone.

It wasn’t long before Norz also ran back from the other end: "There are many animal footprints, but no signs of Orc activities, and I just found some fruit trees over there, full of fruit.

I checked, and they are not poisonous."

Ji Nuan nodded: "That’s the general situation. This place doesn’t seem to have Orc activities, but it is a watering spot for wild animals.

And according to what Casa said earlier, we might encounter wolf packs here; we must make defensive preparations.

Now, everyone should clean up first. Let’s not unload anything from Maomao and the others just yet, in case something happens and we need to retreat quickly."

The animals nodded, and only then did Ji Nuan turn around and pull the towering Orc towards the lake.

The water in the lake was so clear that even Ji Nuan could see the sand at the bottom. The sand looked so fine and must feel comfortable to step on.
