Chapter 946 - 945: The Beautiful Young Cub
Today, dressed in a beautiful Beast Skin outfit, Gui Baobao enjoyed the treatment he used to receive as a cub, and he was incredibly happy.
His four little legs kept paddling along the way, which made Gui Zhuangzhuang utterly helpless.
Adult Tortoise Orcs move very fast in the sea, so in no time, they had returned to Tortoise Island.
Many Orcs and females were already waiting there.
Most of these Orcs and females were the fathers and mothers of cubs who were still unconscious from eating poisonous Sea Beasts.
They were waiting here to find out whether the Shaman mentioned by Gui Baobao really existed and whether he would agree to treat their cubs.
Seeing the Clan Leader and his cubs, along with the Lord Priest return, everyone’s eyes were filled with hope.
The priest sighed as he observed the tribe’s expectant looks, "Everyone go back, I will let the Orcs notify you once we have an outcome."
With that, he waved his hand and led the way toward his own cave.
Gui Zhuangzhuang, carrying two cubs dressed in beautiful Beast Skin clothes, followed behind the priest.
The priest’s cave was vast, and even with all the Orcs that had come, there was still plenty of room.
The priest, sitting on a somewhat worn Beast Skin mat, gazed brightly at the two cubs dressed in red.
With a very affectionate expression on his face, he asked, "Baobao, did you talk to the Shaman about us wanting to meet him today?"
Gui Baobao nodded his little head, "I did. The Shaman’s good friend has already agreed to meet you. She said she will wait for us on the beach where we usually meet, when the sun is at its highest tomorrow."
Gui Baobao answered very smoothly, but as his words fell, he noticed that the Orc uncles, Granpa Priest, and even his own father in the cave were looking at him with a very strange expression.
This made Gui Baobao nervously shrink his head, but this fearful appearance made the surrounding Orcs look even more intense.
Without waiting for the old priest to speak, Gui Zhuangzhuang looked sternly at Gui Baobao, "Baobao, you didn’t actually meet the Tribe’s Shaman today. Why did you lie to us? Are you afraid we would harm the Shaman?"
Gui Baobao, still just a cub, was stunned by this confrontation, the first of its kind he had ever faced.
He didn’t understand why just by conveying the Shaman’s good friend’s response, his father accused him of lying to the Orcs.
Having always aspired to be an Orc Warrior, Gui Baobao was not one to lie.
Yet at this moment, he felt his young heart was shattered into a million pieces.
The little guy was terribly aggrieved, his small, black-bean-like eyes instantly brimming with tears.
His mouth tightened, and he stubbornly looked at his father, "I didn’t lie, it was the Shaman’s good friend who said it. He even gave me and Beibei pretty Beast Skin clothes and a small Beast Skin bag to bring back to you and mom."
Seeing his brother cry, Gui Beibei’s little lips pursed as well, "Mm, the Shaman said so~"
He nodded his little head seriously.
The priest frowned while looking at the two little ones below him. Could these little ones have been tricked?
Could there be no Shaman among those several Orcs?
But that didn’t seem right. On the Beast World Continent, both the Shaman and the priest held highly respected positions, surely no Orc would dare masquerade as a Shaman or priest to deceive others.
