Leisurely Farm Life in Beast World

Gui Baobao brought the potion back, and Ji Nuan set out with Xiu Yan and Kaka to find a spot not far from the beach.

The area was elevated, so there was no worry about it being flooded by the sea.

Xiu Yan and Kaka cut down a few trees and erected a simple hut at the chosen spot. The hut had only a roof supported by four sturdy trunks, with a wooden platform built some distance above the ground.

The platform was covered with soft, comfortable beast skins and had some tasty fruits and fresh beast meat on it.

Ji Nuan and the others rested there for a while, and in the afternoon, the two orcs continued their great endeavor of collecting sea beasts.

Ji Nuan followed, picking out seashells and stones she liked.

"Shaman good friend," suddenly, a youthful voice sounded from behind.

The three turned to look and two little sea turtle hatchlings were swimming out of the ocean, the stronger one of the hatchlings holding a piece of black grass Ji Nuan was quite familiar with.

It was struggling to pull something out of the water.

Ji Nuan drew near and took the black grass from the little one’s mouth, revealing the vaguely visible object in the water.

It was a beautiful coral tree that filled Ji Nuan’s eyes with amazement.

Dragging such a big coral tree all the way to the beach, Gui Baobao was so tired that it lay outstretched on the sand.

Ji Nuan chuckled and shook her head, then bent down to the worn-out little one, "Baobao, aren’t you going to introduce me to this friend?"

Gui Beibei, initially scared to see Ji Nuan walk over, stopped retreating when noticing Ji Nuan’s familiar way of talking with its sibling.

It tilted its little head, looking at her curiously.

After resting for a while, Gui Baobao sat up and pointed a little paw at Gui Beibei, "Shaman good friend, this is my younger brother, Gui Beibei. He’s better now after drinking the potion you gave me."

Then it toddled over to the coral tree, "This is a gift from my brother to you. The females in our tribe like to place these in their caves; they’re very pretty."

Ji Nuan turned to the slightly frail little sea turtle hatchling, her smile warm, "Hello, Beibei. I’m Ji Nuan, and I’m good friends with Baobao."

Gui Beibei, somewhat introverted, walked up to Ji Nuan and looked up shyly, "Thank you for saving me."

Seeing the little guy’s soft and mushy appearance, Ji Nuan grew even happier, "It’s nothing. Helping friends is what we should do."

She reached out her hand, "Baobao, Beibei, I’ve set up a little shelter over there with comfortable beast skin mats and tasty fruits; later, I’ll make some delicious food for you to eat."

The two little ones’ eyes sparkled at the mention of delicious food, and they quickly scrambled onto Ji Nuan’s hand with their little short legs.

Although neither of the young ones was very large, together, they still had some weight.

By the time Ji Nuan placed the little ones on the beast skin mats, her arms were trembling.

The two puppies were ecstatic about the little shelter lined with beast skins, bouncing about on the platform covered in beast skins, laughing and playing happily.

Ji Nuan then gave a discreet look to the two orcs, and Xiu Yan took the Shell Beasts and Sea Beasts out of his basket and set them aside.
