Leisurely Farm Life in Beast World

The females were somewhat evasive because of Aunt Naima’s problem.

Aunt Naima waved her hand as if she didn’t notice, "Let’s not worry about that anymore, let the orcs deal with the troubling matters. We just need to take care of ourselves."

Then, standing up, she said, "Come on, let’s go to the bathroom to wash up. How can you stand being covered in this black mud?"

Having been reminded by Aunt Naima, the female orc seemed to suddenly regain her senses, frowning deeply at the tight feeling of the dried mud on her skin and the faint odors emanating from it.

She climbed down from the kang bed and followed Aunt Naima out of the room.

"My little cub..."

Aunt Naima lifted the beast skin curtain on the door, "Come on out, the little one is asleep. The shaman said the little guy is still young, was frightened yesterday, and needs to rest well."

A pang of heartache flashed through the eyes of the female orc as she followed Aunt Naima out of the room.

The sight outside the house was even more astonishing to her—a beautiful cave she had never seen before. Could this really be for beasts to live in?

She couldn’t help but doubt once again if this was the territory of Lord Beast God.

Aunt Naima led her to the bathroom and handed her a somewhat rough piece of beast skin, filling the shower tub with water.

"You sit down here, and I’ll add water for you. Let’s wash off the black mud from your body first."

The female orc shyly nodded and sat down on a small wooden stool under the large tub.

Aunt Naima opened up the blocked segments of bamboo, which had been drilled with little holes, and like the rain, water started pouring down.

The female orc was stunned by this magical scene, and Aunt Naima called out to her with amusement.

When she came back to her senses, Aunt Naima pointed to the water tub above, "Go on and wash. This is a solution thought up by our shaman, because bathing in the river can cause us to overheat."

The female orc nodded dumbly.

Warm water poured over her body, and it was extremely comfortable.

Back in the tribe, they seldom bathed, as it was easy to fall ill; after getting a fever, one would need herbal medicine for treatment, yet in the Land of Death, medicinal herbs were very scarce, collected from the forests by the orcs.

Unless it was absolutely necessary, or the creature was very important to the tribe, the shaman would not waste herbs on treatment.

So, in the tribe, they could not afford to get sick.

The layers of warm water washed away the layers of black mud from the female orc’s body, turning it into black muddy water that flowed down to the ground.

It then flowed out along the drainage path of the bathroom.

The female orc finally revealed her true appearance—skinny and dark, with bones prominent on her face.

Aunt Naima frowned. Was the tribe really in such dire straits?

That even the precious females had become so frail.

Of course, Aunt Naima would not know that the Armored Crocodile Orc Clan was still very strong, only that their current Clan Leader was too stingy, hoarding all the food into his own cave.

After re-plugging the segments of bamboo, Aunt Naima then led the female orc to the bathtub.

She lifted the lid of the pot on the side, scooping out steaming hot water from within and mixing it with the cold water that had already been put inside.

She then dipped her hand to test the temperature.

Only then did she turn to look at the female orc behind her, "Go in and soak in the bath. It’s really comfortable. You can just lie down in it."

The female orc looked at Aunt Naima with some trepidation, fear of the unfamiliar showing in her eyes.

Aunt Naima stood up and walked over to her, "Don’t be afraid, give it a try. See, the water in there is not even as deep as the river. You can also test the temperature yourself, it’s not too hot at all."
