Leisurely Farm Life in Beast World

The beast parents let go of the fidgety little ones in their arms, and the cubs gathered together again, disappearing from sight as they scampered amongst the crowd of beast-men.

However, the beast parents weren’t worried at all. They were all in the tribe, so they couldn’t get lost.

(Well, you guys sure are laid-back.)

Bosson and the others were stunned by the size of the crowd when they reached the city gate.

"Uncle, are these beast folks also from your tribe?"

Shaking his head, Bosson replied, "No, they are not from our tribe."

He then turned to a beast-man standing next to him and asked, "Song Yu, what tribe are these beast folks from?"

The beast-man named Song Yu chuckled, "Of course they’re from our tribe."

Annoyed, Bosson retorted, "Will you please cut the crap? These beast folks aren’t from our tribe. I’ve never seen them before."

No longer teasing, Song Yu explained: "These beast folks are from all the smaller tribes in Eneru Forest. They’ve come to ask to join the Watson Tribe."

Bowman was taken aback, "Has the Watson Tribe agreed?"

Song Yu shook his head, "I don’t think so yet, but it should be just about to happen. They have been organized by a Clan Leader from a middle-ranked tribe and this Clan Leader happens to be Ya Li’s uncle."

Bosson was floored, "Ya Li, that gremlin has an uncle?"

With an expression of disbelief Song Yu replied, "Ya Li didn’t spring up from a stone, of course he has an uncle. And it’s Amu’s older brother. I think if both Ya Li and Shaman Ji Nuan put in a good word, this might actually happen."

The main force had already begun moving towards the main square. Bosson and his group didn’t follow, instead turning back towards home.

On the way, both Bowman and Hei Tu’s hearts beat rapidly, as if stepped on by a wild beast as they thought of a dreadful possibility.

Yesterday it was Dashi and the Grey Bear and today it’s all the small and medium-sized tribes...

So now, inside Eneru Forest, only the Watson Tribe and their Gru Tribe remain.

The two young beast-men exchanged a look, both seeing shock in each other’s eyes.

At lunch, they quickly finished their food as if in a daze, then hurried back to their guest room and set of back to their tribe with their people.

Lei Er walked in just as they were about to leave, carrying a beast skin package on his back, "Are you guys ready to leave?"

Bowman and the others nodded, glancing at Lei Er’s package, "Are you also leaving?"

Lei Er threw them the package, "This is something you left here last time. Shaman Ji Nuan heard you were leaving and asked me to bring it for you. I’m heading out for a hunt, so I can give you a ride back on the way."

Bowman accepted the package and peeked inside to find the Divine Wood Tree branches and leaves that they had brought last time, "This..."

Cutting him off, Lei Er said, "Say no more, just take it. Shaman Ji Nuan asked me to tell you... you might find it hard to adapt to your new home, so you should take more with you."

After that, he turned to leave, "Let’s go, my squad is waiting outside."

Bowman had no choice but to wrap up the beast skin package, carry it on his back, and follow Lei Er outside with his tribespeople.

Before stepping out of the Watson Tribe’s gate, he couldn’t help but glance back at the Watson Tribe, a thought suddenly forming in his mind.
