Chief Shi Jie’s question startled Xiong Da, who looked at him in perplexity, "Why are you suddenly asking such questions? We all have our own tribes; how could we forsake our tribesfolk to become orcs of the Watson Tribe?"

Chief Shi Jie gave a dry laugh: "Haha, I was just asking, just asking."

Although he said so, his evasive gaze was caught by Mo Peisi on the side. A thought almost formed in his mind but he promptly dismissed it.

After tasting the food, the two orcs returned to their own tents. Xiong Da was lazing on his beast skin, looking at Mo Peisi on the side. "I’ve already discussed this with your brother. You’ll be our tribe’s clan leader from now on."

Xiong Da laughed: "Indeed, we have."

The Gray Bear Tribe and the Dashi Tribe had grown into great tribes in the Eneru Forest, and ones that could participate in major trading festivals, at that.

After some thought, Mo Peisi decided to share his speculation about Chief Shi Jie with Xiong Da: "Uncle, what do you think about what Chief Shi Jie said today?"

Xiong Da looked at his niece’s son and raised an eyebrow, "Which part?"

"The part where he asked you what you thought of the Watson Tribe."

Xiong Da laughed: "Hehe, that guy’s probably just envious of the Watson Tribe’s way of life, that’s why he asked."

Mo Peisi shook his head, "Uncle, I think there’s another reason."

Seeing his serious expression, Xiong Da also sat up, "What reason?"

Mo Peisi moistened his lips: "I think that Chief Shi Jie wants to join the Watson Tribe."

Xiong Da immediately stood, "There’s no way. We all have our own tribes. He wouldn’t leave his tribe to join the Watson Tribe."

Mo Peisi shook his head: "Not just him, the entire Dashi Tribe."

This shocked Xiong Da, making him shake his head, "There’s no way. After all the time our tribes have spent in the Eneru Forest, why would he?"

Mo Peisi argued back seriously: "Uncle, I don’t think there’s anything impossible about this. If the Dashi Tribe joins the Watson Tribe, then whenever future disasters strike, they can take shelter behind the strong high walls of the Watson Tribe’s city.
