Leisurely Farm Life in Beast World

The Orcs of the Gru Tribe had already packed up the items they brought, and were wearing them on their backs. The females were holding their cubs and climbing onto the backs of the Orcs.

They were all ready to go.

Lei Er was waiting not too far away with the Orcs from the Watson Tribe. Seeing Bowman leading the people of the Gru Tribe out, he turned around and ran ahead to lead the way.

Looking at the increasingly tall trees and dense jungle, the hearts of the Gru Tribe’s Orcs were filled with joy. They had thought that the major tribes of the Eneru Forest would not give them any good territory, but unexpectedly it turned out to be such a place rich in prey.

The Orcs sped up their pace along the way and actually arrived at their new territory before lunch.

This was a beautiful territory. The land was rich in game. The tribe’s settlement was located next to a small river.

Perhaps it was far from the Eneru mountain range, it was not affected by the last disaster, and a small peak had been preserved not far away.

The mountain peak circled the tribal settlement.

On the mountain body, there were caves left by the previous tribes, which could be used for living and storing food in winter.

The Orcs of the Gru tribe were more than satisfied with this territory. The females got off the Orcs’ backs and the Orcs happily played in their new land.

The river was not very wide, only about as wide as two Orcs lying down. The water had just reached the Orcs’ waists. Although it was not a problem for the Orcs, it was not very convenient for the females and cubs.

"You go and tidy up the settlement and the caves, I will take the tribal people to make a bridge for you, so it will be easier for the cubs and females to cross the river." Lei Er suggested.

Previously, the females or cubs of the tribe had to be carried back and forth by the Orcs when crossing the river, which was very inconvenient.

Bowman did not hesitate, as they did not know what this thing called a "bridge" was, or how to make it.

So he nodded: "Alright, we’ll appreciate that. We’ll go tidy up the tribe now."

Lei Er led the Orcs of the Watson Tribe into the forest to find timber for making the bridge. Bowman and Hei Tu led their tribesmen into this future site of the Gru tribe’s prosperity.

Shaman Ji Nuan had mentioned that this tribe met its demise during the great beast tide, so there are still many bones left on the current tribal site, not knowing whether they belonged to the Orcs or the beasts of the forest.

The females sat with their cubs in the open space in the middle of the settlement, and the Orcs began to clean out the surrounding area and the caves.

By then, Lei Er and the others had already found the material to build the bridge. Each of the Orc carried one to the river side.

"Lei Er, can we just tie them with vines, or..."

Simple planks in the tribe were made by just digging small notches and wedging the planks in.

Hearing this, the Orcs got to work immediately - processing the timber, pruning the excess branches, carving with their claws. Finally, they all worked together, interlocking the timbers horizontally and vertically. For added security, they found vines to further secure it, and then placed the timber bridge over the river.

They smoothed out uneven places and finally created a bridge that was both aesthetically pleasing and practical.
