Chapter 644 - 643, Guardian Orc_1
"I no longer need the leaf of the Divine Wood Tree, but I have a request for Shaman Ji Nuan instead,"
The clear, magnetic voice of the orc echoed across the open space, sounding like a whisper in one’s ear, but reaching the ears of every beast present.
No sooner had Kun’s voice died away than a gloomy look instantly cast over Chief Nakula and Namila in the area of the Nacha Tribe.
Namila hastily stood up, "Kun, whatever your request is, why don’t you ask our shaman instead? Why ask a shaman from another tribe?"
An unsettling feeling flooded Namila’s heart. She looked at the towering orc not too far away but he seemed distant, somewhere else, like in a mountain forest.
She stepped forward, walking towards Kun. "Kun, come back first. If there’s anything you need, I can bring it up to the shaman for you."
But her voice did not earn her a glance from the orc. Kun remained fixated on Ji Nuan, his eyes fully focused and unwavering.
By the time Namila reached Kun’s side and reached out to touch his beast skin, Kun stepped aside, "Don’t touch me."
His cold voice was overflowing with iciness. His eyes, as bright as the sun, clearly showed his disgust towards the female beside him.
The smile on Namila’s face gradually disappeared, her eyes growing cold towards Kun, "What, do you want to become Shaman Ji Nuan’s mate? And then leave our Nacha Tribe?"
Kun remained at a distance, his eyes fixed on Ji Nuan, waiting for her response.
Seeing the orc she had her heart set on favoring a female from another tribe made Namila’s heart blaze with rage. She was close to screaming at the sight of Kun’s back, "Stop dreaming! I won’t let you go to another tribe, you can only be my mate. Whoever dares to pair with you, I will...!"
But her words were cut off by a gentle orc standing by her side. Surprisingly, he forced her back to stand beside Chief Nakula.
Witnessing his cub, almost lose her mind over a male, Chief Nakula felt helpless.
Nakula signaled for the gentle orc to continue restraining the struggling Namila while he stood up and walked into the open field, towards the orc whose back was still turned to him, "Kun, do you intend to become Shaman Ji Nuan’s mate?"
Kun looked at the emotionless female sitting on the beast skin cushion, and responded, "I don’t know if Shaman Ji Nuan would agree."
Ji Nuan curled a corner of her mouth, "Is that your request?"
Kun’s gaze was intense, "Yes."
Ji Nuan rose to her feet, "I may let you be my exclusive Guardian Orc, but not a mate."
Exclusive Guardian Orc!!!
All the orcs present were stunned. An exclusive Guardian Orc was an extremely dominant form of guardianship, which meant they could not form a pair with any other beast apart from the one he was guarding.
If the beast being guarded did not like the exclusive Guardian, then the Guardian would have to spend their life in solitude.
With her eyes red, Namila finally stopped struggling and even held her breath instinctively, waiting for the response of the orc to whom she’d been pursuing but had never given in.
Kun did not disappoint. He simply nodded, "I agree."
Without missing a beat, he kneeled and made an oath to Lord Beast God.
