Leisurely Farm Life in Beast World

Chapter 635 - 634, Identity_1

Clad in brand new shaman attire, Ji Nuan and Mu Qing arrive at the open space where the trade meeting was being held. The Watson Tribe’s designated spot was the first to the right of the trading platform.

The orcs began laying down thick beast skins. Once Ji Nuan sat down, upon Ya Li’s command, the guards spread out around. Ya Li, Fu Yi, and Ying Yan bravely stood behind Ji Nuan, their towering figures resembling mighty mountains.

The female onlookers gazed at these formidable orcs, envy gleaming in their eyes as they looked at Ji Nuan.

Elder Mu Qing ascended to the trading platform built from wooden planks, and waved his hand, signaling the creatures to quiet down.

He then glanced at Mu Chun standing beside him.

Mu Chun stepped to the edge of the trading platform and had a brief exchange with the Divine Wood Tree people waiting below. Shortly after, a dozen of them carrying huge packages came up.

After placing the packages on the trading platform, they stood behind them, assuming the position of guards.

Elder Mu Qing then addressed the creatures below, "Welcome all tribes’ creatures to this trading gathering. As you can see, we have prepared a large amount of Divine Wood Tree Branches and Leaves to exchange with you all. As long as you have what we need, don’t hesitate to make the exchange, also..."

He paused, then continued, "For this trade, we’ll start with the smaller tribes first, and the larger tribes will go last."

This news sent an immediate ripple through the gathering, stirring up a tumultuous commotion.

The Orcs from the smaller tribes cheered joyfully, while the leaders of the larger tribes, knitted their brows.

Although Bertel had died, the Gru Tribe hadn’t died out. The one attending this time was Bertel’s cub. With the support of the shaman, he had taken up the position of Chief Bertel.

"Elder Mu Qing, we large tribes brought more items. Shouldn’t it be that we trade first, and then the leftover items given to those smaller tribes?"

"Yes, indeed. The larger tribes should be allowed to trade first." Nakula also spoke out.

However, to their astonishment, except for them, the other clan leaders from the large tribes remained surprisingly quiet.

Nakula turned to Chief Meng Zhuo from across the room and asked, "What are Chief Meng Zhuo’s thoughts on this?"

After a glance at Nakula, Meng Zhuo gave a dry laugh, subtly peered at Ji Nuan whose expression was placid, seeing no reaction, he had no choice but to inquire, "What are Shaman Ji Nuan’s thoughts on this?"

Shaman Ji Nuan?

The crowd looked all around, but all they saw were vigorous orcs and young female creatures.

"We, the Watson Tribe, agree." A soft feminine voice sounded at this moment.

All eyes turned to the young female sitting in the first position on the right. They were asking for the shaman’s opinion, why was a little female cub putting in her word?

Seeing Ji Nuan’s composed demeanor, Chief Meng Zhuo finally found peace. He grinned and sat back down in his position: "Then I will listen to Shaman Ji Nuan. We agree that the large tribes trade last."

"Gulp!" The loud sound of swallowing saliva echoed.

The creatures were stunned by the truth: "So that seemingly delicate and soft young female is the legendary Shaman Ji Nuan?"

Nakula was also taken aback. He hadn’t expected the shaman of the Watson Tribe to be a delicate young female. Weren’t shamans supposed to be worn-out old creatures or grandmas?

The Watson Tribe is not following the rules.

"How could this be? How could there be such a young shaman? And she’s a female, too?" Namila muttered in disbelief from nearby.
