Leisurely Farm Life in Beast World

Chapter 586 - 585, Betrayal_1

One was rushing in and the other was urgently looking for a place to hide. As the old saying goes, the older, the wiser. The kitten, whose butt hadn’t even snuggled into the quilt, was embarrassingly carried away under her father’s armpit in such a disgraceful pose.

It was not until she was taken out of the house that she noticed the innocent little fox squatting by the door.

"Meow meow!" Little Fox, you betrayed me. I’m not playing with you anymore.

"Chirp chirp!" It’s always been me playing with you.

The little cat was taken aback, with her face puffing up like a bun immediately.

Looking at the fuming furball being taken away by her father, Little Luo Zhi yawned comfortably, stretched lazily, and jumped onto the bed: "Chirp chirp... chirp chirp chirp..."

The little kitty was too noisy, and her snoring was so loud that it kept the fox awake.

Getting rid of her meant I could finally have a good sleep, a marvelous idea.

(Little Kitty: You, Fox, I can never play happily with you again!)

At Lamu Forest, in the Serra Tribe.

"Meng Zhuo, don’t be too arrogant! A disaster has just passed, and now you come to attack our tribe. Lord Beast God will never forgive your tribe, you will be punished." The elderly Shaman of the Serra Tribe raised his hands high, his old face flushed red as he panted heavily.

Meng Luo rode on a beast from the back of the line and came forward: "Heh, old man, you always use Lord Beast God to scare beasts. When your Serra Tribe attacked other tribes, seizing the small tribe’s food during the winter, weren’t you afraid of the punishment of Lord Beast God? Now the Monte Tribe is here to punish you on behalf of Lord Beast God."

"Shaman, if Lord Beast God knew the things you’ve done over the years, I’m afraid the first one to be punished would be you."

A young familiar orc voice sounded from the Monte Tribe team. The orcs of the Serra Tribe looked over and were immediately shocked. The beast speaking and slowly emerging from the Monte Tribe was the Shaman’s Disciple, Layla.

Upon seeing Layla, the elderly Shaman’s face twisted in a rage: "Layla, I treated you so well, taught you Shamanism, but you betray the tribe, you betray me!"

In Layla’s eyes there was no fear or respect for the elderly Shaman, only a cold hatred: "Betray the tribe? Betray you? Heh~"

Frowning, he chuckled coldly. Then looked at Mo Zha’s family indifferently, turned his head and stared straight at the elderly Shaman: "Perhaps, you don’t know. Just a few days ago, I needed to see you for something, to ask you about some herbs, and so I went to your tent."

Those words, like a bolt from the blue, struck directly on the old Shaman’s head making his old face distorted with disgust and horror: "You went into my tent without my permission! Who allowed you! Was my barrel taken by you?"

Layla laughed looking at the frustrated and furious Shaman: "Of course, it was the Clan Leader who let me in. And, I must thank the Clan Leader. If he hadn’t let me in to get the herbs, I wouldn’t have found out such important things. You are not worthy of being a Shaman."

The exchange between the two beasts had the surrounding orc’s heads in the clouds. They had no idea what the two were talking about. Was there something in the Shaman’s tent they should not have known about?
