Leisurely Farm Life in Beast World

Over here, Ji Nuan and Xiu Yan had just returned to their tent with their beasts. They were barely seated in their beast skin seats when a chill flickered in Xiu Yan’s eyes. He pulled Ji Nuan behind him, coldly shouted at the corner, "Come out!"

Ya Li’s gaze was just as dangerous as Xiu Yan’s, both staring at the same spot.

Ji Nuan’s hair stood on end, and stared with wide eyes at the little corner where the Beast Skins were piled up.

Under the gaze of the three beasts, a small bump appeared under one of the Beast Skins. Whatever was inside rolled around, seemingly dizzy. The small lump wobbled a few times under Ji Nuan’s watchful gaze.

Then, whatever was hiding started to shift out as the three beasts nervously observed the small bump...

"Meep?" A frightened little fur ball peeped its head out from the pile of Beast Skins.

Ji Nuan and his beasts stared dumbfounded at Fu Yi, who should have been in the Tribe.

Ya Li jumped up, came back to his senses, darted forward, grabbed Fu Yi and roughed him up, swearing, "You scared the hell out of us appearing out of nowhere!"

Ji Nuan emerged from behind the sullen-faced Xiu Yan, curiously eyeing Fu Yi who was mercilessly manhandled by Ya Li. "Fu Yi, weren’t you in the Tribe? What brings you here all of a sudden?"

Saving the tousled Fu Yi from Ya Li’s grasp, Fu Yi transformed back into his Orc form. After a resentful glance at Ya Li, he explained, "Uncle Chief sent me. The Eneru Mountain collapsed, connecting us with Lamu and Nia Forest, and everybody was busy cleaning up the Tribe after the disaster.

But then, Xiong Dan suddenly brought some Orcs into our Tribe asking for help."

"Asking for help?" Ji Nuan was shocked. Although the Gray Bear Tribe didn’t have evolved Orcs, they were one of the major tribes in Eneru Forest. Who would dare to attack them?

Fu Yi nodded. "It was Botel from the Gru Tribe. He led many Orcs to the Gray Bear and Dashi Tribes, wanting them to become subordinate to Gru Tribe. Chief Xiongda and Chief Shi Jie refused, and then Botel led his Orcs to attack both tribes. Chief Xiongda was injured."

Ji Nuan’s rage flared instantly. "Botel is too arrogant, reaching his hands into our Eneru Forest."

Looking at Fu Yi, he asked, "Then, what happened?"

Fu scratched his head and continued. "The Chief was furious when he heard about this. He led some Orcs there, but he and Botel are evenly matched neither could defeat the other. Chief Xiongda was taken back to the Tribe by Chief Ge Xing, and Shaman Ama has already healed his injured bones."

Ji Nuan let out a small sigh of relief.

Xiu Yan looked at Fu Yi. "You came to bring us back?"

Fu Yi nodded. "Yes, Botel knows you are not in Eneru Forest and has no idea where you have gone. Ge Xing proposed that as long as we handed over Bosson to him, he would no longer attack the Dashi and Gray Bear Tribes."

The light in the three Beasts’ eyes suddenly chilled. Ya Li narrowed his eyes, and for the first time, a cold aura associated with the Snake Orcs seeped out from the corners of his mouth, "Looks like the Gru Tribe has been the overlord of the Nia Forest for too long and has forgotten how big the Beast World Continent actually is."

Ji Nuan looked at Ya Li with curiosity, "Huh? I don’t know either, how big is the Beast World Continent?"

Ya Li’s face darkened, looking at Ji Nuan resentfully... Can’t a creature just act cool for a while...
