Ya Gu and She Wu trembled as they held the small fruit in their hands, their faces full of amazement as they looked at Ya Li, the Shaman’s Disciple, "Is this the Pregnancy Fruit?"

Ya Li’s mouth curved into a wide grin, practically stretching to his ears, he excitedly nodded, "That’s right, this is the Pregnancy Fruit. A highly precious Pregnancy Fruit, hehe. I don’t know who left it here."

Having said that, he glanced around and revealed a cunning smile, "Since it has been left in my dwelling, it must obviously be for me." He then slipped the fruit into the pocket of his Beast Skin coat.

Turning his head towards Ya Gu and She Wu, he said, "You two should keep this fruit safe. You can give it to your partner once you have one." She Wu carefully cradled the fruit, all smiles, leaving the others unable to look away.

Ya Gu gave a bitter smile and passed the fruit back to Ya Li, "You know full well my situation. There’s no way any female Orc would want to be with me. Besides, I have a cub. I can’t just abandon her to live with another female."

Ya Li thought for a moment and accepted the fruit back, "Let me hold onto it for now. You never know, you might meet a good female Orc one day." Ya Gu simply nodded nonchalantly.

"Brother!!!" A heart-wrenching scream came from the other room, the bedroom of She Wu in Ya Li’s house.

The two Orcs locked eyes before darting up and running towards the sound.

"What happened?"

"What’s going on?"

She Wu, his eyes brimming with tears, raised his head. He looked ready to burst into tears at any moment, "My first snake’s shed is gone..." The two Orcs exclaim in surprise, "No way! Such an important item, could you have forgotten where you kept it?"

She Wu, his eyes pooling with tears, replied, "I placed it in a small box as soon as I got back and left it on the Kang bed. I didn’t touch it since. I only realized the shed was gone when I tried to put the Pregnancy Fruit into the box."

Having mentioned the Pregnancy Fruit, the three Orcs exchanged glances, and Ya Gu and Ya Li bolted towards their rooms.

In their respective spots where they stored their snake sheds, all that greeted them was emptiness, proving that She Wu wasn’t the only Orc who had lost his snake shed.

In the end, the three Orcs sat in Ya Li’s room, staring at each other across the Kang bed.

"So, this Pregnancy Fruit is actually compensation for us!"

She Wu pursed his lips, "Seems like it. I wonder who the thief is."

Ya Li narrowed his eyes and huffed, "I know who it is."

Both Ya Gu and She Wu’s eyes lit up as they focused their attention on Ya Li.

Ya Li gritted his teeth, "It couldn’t have been anyone other than that damn wolf!"

"The wolf?" She Wu turned to Ya Gu.

Ya Gu twitched his mouth, "You mean Xiu Yan?"

Ya Li snorted, "Who else could it be?"

She Wu immediately rose from the bed, visibly livid, "Let’s go find him and get our snake sheds back."

Having said that, he turned to leave but was dragged back by Ya Li, "Did you forget something?"

She Wu’s eyes gleamed, he looked innocently at Ya Li, "What?"

Ya Li lifted the hand holding the Pregnancy Fruit, "Take the Pregnancy Fruit with you."

She Wu mumbled, "This Pregnancy Fruit~"

Ya Li poked his forehead with a finger, "If you don’t want it, then sit quietly and hold onto your Pregnancy Fruit. He probably took it to the Shaman."

Both Orcs looked at him in unison, "You’re saying he took it for Ji Nuan?"
