"Lan’er, my dear, it’s your turn!" Seeing the great ape set down the boulder and walk back, Wei Chen made a ’please’ gesture toward Tie Lan.

"This..." Although she didn’t understand how Wei Chen had done it, Tie Lan knew her own limits. It was absolutely impossible for her to make the Copper-Armed Giant Ape obey her within ten breaths!

"Such hard arms, no wonder you’re so strong!" The boy circled the great ape like a country bumpkin, finally uttering a line that made everyone want to collapse, before turning and walking back.

"You have to listen to Miss Lan’er, okay? If you’re obedient, I can give you meat to eat!"

’Be obedient, and I’ll give you meat...’ This was the Copper-Armed Giant Ape, a Peak Demon Beast at the Peak of the Armor Realm with intelligence no less than a human’s. For him to spout such childish nonsense, it would be a miracle if the beast didn’t go berserk...

However, to everyone’s utter astonishment, not only did the great ape not go berserk after hearing this, but it even ambled over to Tie Lan fawningly, its massive, dark face breaking into a shocking smile.

It was just that its smile was uglier than a crying face. Anyone faint of heart would probably pass out from the sight.

After a moment’s hesitation, Tie Lan gave the command, though she held little hope it would work, "Go beat up Wei Chen!"

"Have the Copper-Armed Giant Ape beat me up? Haha, Lan’er, that joke isn’t funny at all!" Nie Yun’s voice had been quiet, so no one else had heard him. But Tie Lan’s voice echoed through the valley, and everyone turned to stare at her as if she were an idiot. Even Wei Chen wondered if the girl had lost her mind.

The Copper-Armed Giant Ape had been so obedient to Wei Chen just a moment ago. How could it possibly attack him just because she said so? ’Is this a joke?’

"Hmph. It’s under the control of my True Qi, and you think you can command the Copper-Armed Giant Ape? Dream on..." Hearing the girl’s words, Jiangg Youx snorted coldly. Just as he was about to enjoy the show, his pupils suddenly shrank. He saw the great ape’s iron-like arm swing violently toward Wei Chen!

The blow was incredibly fast and completely unexpected. Before Wei Chen could react, it struck him square on the right cheek. With a miserable shriek, he was sent flying sideways, crashing heavily to the ground with his head stuck in the valley’s tall grass.
