Chapter 45: Nika’s Thoughts
“Really? Hurry up and tell us!”
As she spoke, Nila shook Nika’s arm and pressed her for an answer.
“Oh, stop shaking me. You’re making me dizzy.”
Nika grabbed her younger sister’s hand to stop her from moving around.
“The reason Master was able to defeat a Mage is because he was carrying a Magic Tool.”
Nika’s voice rang out beside Nila and Isabella’s ears.
“A Magic Tool!?”
Nila was no stranger to Magic Tools.
After all, the Jurgen Family was a top-tier family.
There were many Magic Tools within the family.
It was just that the Magic Tools she usually saw were all meant for everyday life.

Nika shook her head and explained.

After hearing Nika’s explanation, the light gradually faded from Isabella’s eyes, and she murmured those words softly.

“Isabella wants to buy one?”

“Help me refuse her. Guns aren’t for sale.”
“Master, may I ask why?”

“It’s simple.”
Ryan shrugged.

“If I sell Isabella a gun, then think about the consequences.”
“The consequences...?”

Nika nodded.

“Is that really all? There isn’t some other reason too?”
Ryan looked at Nika with a teasing grin.
Nika knew she could not hide it from Ryan, and her face instantly turned red.
“N-Not just that one reason.”
She lowered her voice and said, “Master is getting stronger and stronger. If I’m the only one serving you at night, I can hardly keep up!”
After saying that, Nika turned her head away, not daring to look at Ryan.
But Ryan noticed that even her ears had turned bright red.
“So you want your sister to follow me too?”
