Nathan Free, Natalie Bound
Chapter 104
I still remembered what it felt like to be a tree. I remembered the way vibration and tastes were so important to me, I remembered circulating my sap and driving the roots to find foot. I remembered the swell of water and the way light tingled through my leaves. Those memories were just as real as any other, I remembered that day vividly. And yet, a few days later I turned my body into fire, and that is only vague impressions. I barely retain memories of the thing, like it was happening in a vivid dream.
