This nickname stems from a very powerful advanced class talent the Treantherder possesses: the Tree Spirit Pact!
[Tree Spirit Pact]: As a Treantherder, you can form pacts with trees and imprint them with Tree Spirit Sigils. (The number of trees you can pact with is related to your mental strength. The stronger your mental strength, the more trees you can contract.)
[Tree Spirit Sigil]: You can inscribe a magical sigil, compatible with a tree’s characteristics, onto its spirit. A tree imprinted with a Tree Spirit Sigil will possess the corresponding spell-like ability.
This class talent might seem simple on the surface, but it is actually incredibly powerful.
The upper limit of this ability depends entirely on the player’s creativity.
For example, someone could inscribe a Mineral Gathering spell sigil on a Metal-aligned tree, causing it to continuously accumulate refined iron ore in its vicinity.
Inscribing a Lunar Essence Gathering spell sigil on a Moonlight-aligned tree would enable it to continuously produce Lunar Essence.
The most crucial point is that once a tree has an appropriate gathering-type spell sigil inscribed, it can work tirelessly, 24/7, to produce and collect vast amounts of resources.
