Chapter 73: Wanna Fuck?
The moon was high up in the sky as Lukas, Melody, and Akira made their way back into the city.
They’d stayed in the Green Forest longer than they’d planned because the hunt had been genuinely more fun than they’d planned.
While none of them had forgotten for even one second how dangerous it was, just having [Temptation] there was enough for it all to feel like a game.
All it took was one clean hit with the sword, and they’d have another kill to their name.
They hadn’t even noticed the time, only focused on killing. Lukas’ eyes were on his experience bar, grinning at the growth in it. There was no denying it now. Getting to S-rank in a month was no longer a dream but a reality.
They were all in high spirits as they made their way back to the hotel. They showed the guards their tokens, having gotten one for Akira when they’d first brought her to the hotel, and were allowed in.
As they made their way up to their room, Lukas finally spoke, remembering something he should have mentioned before. "Let’s go to my room."
Melody and Akira turned to look at him, brows raised. He’d have to give them more than that.
"The previous room is only big enough for two people, and I’m sure the three of us have a lot to talk about. So, why not have the conversation in my room, which is big enough for three people?" He asked.
Of course, that was not his only intention, but he wasn’t about to tell them that.
"Fair enough." Akira shrugged. "Lead the way."
He grinned, moving to the head of the group. Once they were in the hallway of the floor where their room was, instead of leading them to the previous room, he led them next door.
Fishing his key from his spatial ring, he fitted it into the door and unlocked it.
"Ladies first." He gestured with a flourish, grinning at them.
Melody chuckled at the sight, while Akira smiled. They both walked in, and he followed after them.
Just like he’d said, the place was bigger than their previous room.
It had a large bed, more than big enough for the three of them, and ample floor space. To the side was a roundtable, with four chairs around it. Next to the bed was a single seater couch, and attached to the room was a large bathroom, complete with a bath.
"So you had this all to yourself last night, huh?" Akira looked around, still smiling. "Not fair."
"I’m not the one who told you to fall asleep the moment your head hit that pillow, am I?" Lukas shot back.
"You could have just woken me." Akira paused. "No, wait. That would have been a bad idea. I tend to get... stabby when I’m in a new environment."
"See?" Lukas pointed at her, his grin widening. "It’s all your fault."
Akira flipped him the bird, before flopping down on the bed. She sank in, the bed extremely soft.
She moaned in pleasure, the sound low. "This is what we call ecstasy."
"Pretty sure that’s a narcotic." He joked.
"What?"
"Never mind."
Melody thankfully interjected from where she sat at the round table. "Anyone hungry? Cause I could eat a horse right now."
Akira’s stomach chose that moment to rumble. "Guess I’m hungry." She chuckled, splaying herself on the bed. "But I don’t feel like getting up."
"Don’t worry about that." Melody grinned, standing. "We’re eating in. My treat."
"Really?" Akira raised her head to look at her, an expression of gratitude on her face. "You’ll do that for me?"
"Mostly for me." Melody chuckled. "I noticed a steakhouse when we were coming home today. I want to see if I can get takeout from there, instead of the hotel restaurant downstairs."
"Knock yourself out." Akira said. "As long as I get lots of food, I don’t care what we eat."
"I do care what I eat, though." Lukas chuckled. "So, I’ll have something a little different."
He gave her a small list of what he wanted, and she gave him a thumbs up. A few seconds later, the door closed as she left the room.
And now, Lukas and Akira were alone in the room together.
Silence filled the air, but it wasn’t awkward in any way. After all, they’d become comfortable with each other, somewhere between leaving in the morning and returning at night.
So, Akira laid on her side, supporting her head on her palm as she stared at Lukas, a mischievous smile on her face. "I can read your thoughts, you know."
Lukas blinked. Was it possible to read someone else’s thoughts?
In this world, there really were very few things that were impossible if one had the right tools. So, the question was, ’Does she really have a skill or [Item] that would allow her to...’
His thoughts trailed off as he realized she was joking. "You almost got me there." He chuckled.
"You must think I’m joking but I can see the thoughts in your eyes right now." Akira chuckled.
Lukas slowly walked to the roundtable, pulled out a chair facing her, and sat down. "So, what am I thinking right now?"
Akira said nothing, staring at him.
He raised a brow. "Well?"
"I can sense," she finally spoke, pressing two fingers to her temple as if she was booting up psionic powers, "that your mind is thinking one thing."
"Which is?"
"What do I have to do to fuck this woman?"
Silence filled the air.
Then Lukas burst into laughter. A few seconds later, the laughter tapered off, leaving him grinning widely. "Well, you’re not exactly wrong. I am indeed wondering what I have to do to fuck my beautiful wife. What do you think I should do to make that happen?"
Akira sat up slowly on the bed, staring seductively at him. "You want my advice?"
Lukas leaned back on his chair, a smirk on his face. "Yes, I do."
"Well," Akira stood up from the bed, her movements sensual. "Why don’t you ask her directly."
Lukas tilted his head, his voice low as he spoke. "Well, Akira, wanna fuck?"
Akira’s eyes were twinkling as she spoke. "Hell yeah."
