Chapter 45: Physical bonding
"Well, if it isn’t the famous lion king, the first one to tame the demon of the forest and make her bear his babies." Mighty cheetah, Tian Yu joked as Jia Hao approached them.
Jia Hao smiled. He spread his arms wide. "Welcome co-husbands to my cubs naming ceremony." The men all had wooden cups of wine in their hands. Some had blood in the cups. And some a mixture of blood and wine.
"Tell me, Jia Hao, how on earth did you get that witch to submit to you?" Wei Jin asked. He took a sip from his cup.
"Without killing you first, that is." Le Yang added. The other men laughed.
Jia Hao rolled his eyes. "Mira is not as bad as you think." He said.
"So, it’s Mira now. That’s a swift advancement." Wei Jin teased.
"Advancement? She carried his babies. Trust me, I am sure there was more physical bonding that could be counted as ’swift advancement’." Le Yang taunted. Wei Jin laughed hard at it.
Ming Tao had not said a thing, he just silently slurped on his blood wine.
Wei Jin tapped his shoulder. "Since when was this cheetah silent in gatherings? Is there something you know that we do not?"
Ming Tao shoved Wei Jin’s hand off. There was something he knew. He had caught them in the very act of mating but he was not going to say that. He had also stayed in the pride to see this ’improved’ version of Mira but he was not going to accept that side of her that easily. "Good grief. Can’t a man get a good drink without disturbance?" Ming Tao stated. Wei Jin backed off, his hands raised in a surrender. The men continued to indulge in the conversation about the demon of the forest without Ming Tao having a say in it.
Jia Hao obviously took her side. Now, he was the lovesick husband out of all of them and it sickened Ming Tao to the bone. "Where is this mother of the tribe? We have not had the chance to see her for ourselves and be a judge of her character." Ming Tao said, breaking his silence.
"Mira is having her rest. Carrying cubs is not easy." Jia Hao responded. That was a lie, he knew why she was not present but that was for just him and her to know. "I will go and check on her, but I make no promises that she would be up and if she is not, I won’t be disturbing her sleep."
"Do your thing. We will be here discussing and drinking." Wei Jin said to Jia Hao. Jia Hao grinned and he left them, headed to his home.

The tingle between her legs woke her up first before the rest of her body reacted. Mira wanted that again. And again. And again.
She wanted the outside world on a stand still as her husband rocked her world in every way possible but that could not be done tonight. Because tonight, they had guests.
With a groan, Mira sat up. She still felt him there. Her pussy pumped with the sensation of his touch and her mind raked with images of what happened. That man Jia Hao needed to be given an Oscar. Her eyes roamed over the fur bed then across the room. A nicely made dress sat on a stool. It was not there before. In fact, this was her first time seeing a dress in this world. Was this for her?
[Of course not, host. This dress just happened to magically appear in the Lion King’s room where you happen to be staying just to decorate the stool on a special occasion tonight.]
Mira’s face flattened. System just had to. She got up. Her feet barely stayed straight on the ground. Her pussy still throbbed, begging for more of him but he was not here.
Mira stabilised her feet on the ground and walked to the stool. She held the dress in her hand. It looked beautiful. It was an unrefined leather dress, with a curvature at the bust which formed a heart. Fur cascaded the entire hem of the bust, making it look majestic. The dress also has a side slit.
Woah. Whoever made this knew game, because how does this style even exist in this world? She would wear it. It was way better than the previous outfit she wanted to wear. And it still matched Jia Hao’s attire. Mira took a deep breath. It was time to face her past and make her first appearance in weeks. Something felt good about this entire thing.
It was either the tingle between her legs or— no, it was the tingle. Here goes nothing, Mira thought.

The pride land was beautiful. Mira Made her way to the event head quarters, searching for her husband. She had no idea where he was. The entire place was buzzing with countless beast humans that it was hard to even find him and for a man as recognisable as Jia Hao, that said a lot about the crowding.
Mira made her way back to their home and went straight to the nursery. It was then she saw a shadow lurking from inside. A woman’s shadow. Her heart raced and she ran there. Mira’s eyes scanned the nursery. No one was inside. Aside from the cubs, the place looked completely empty. Ugh, this event made her see things. She needed to snap out of it.
"My woman, there you are. Enjoy your rest?" Echoed from behind. Mira turned to face Jia Hao.
Her cheeks reddened. "It was the best nap ever." She admitted. Jia Hao walked to her side and held her chin in his hand. He raised her face up and lowered his body to kiss her lips.
"Good." He murmured after he broke the kiss. "Now that you’re here, we can proceed with the main event." He said. "The shamans have sent people to bring the cubs."
Mira smiled. She could not believe he waited for her to awaken. An entire crowd of people paraded the pride land yet Jia Hao waited for her before starting the main event. That was sweet. Mira nodded. "Speaking of shaman, was someone already sent before?" Mira asked.
Jia Hao shook his head. "No one is allowed to be in our home during the ceremony."
That was odd. Mira could have sworn she saw the shadow of somebody. Maybe it truly was all in her head. A groups of people made their way inside and stood behind them. From the way they were dressed, Mira assumed they were the shaman’s disciples. One of them announced their presence and Jia Hao gave them a signal to proceed. They made their way inside the nursery.
"Shall we?" Mira asked.
Jia Hao stretched his hand out to let her hold. "We shall."
