The reason Dereck had so urgently desired the title of baron was to be able to devote himself fully to his magical training without interference.

“Thank you for your work. Can I pay through the labor office?”
“Oh, please, no need to be so formal. I don’t have a status high enough to deserve a noble’s courtesy.”
The foreman, who had been directing the workers, waved his hand dismissively.
