The butler relayed Ye Qianning’s words, then released the Old Madam and Xiang Mingli. Mrs. Wang led the courtyard’s servant girls in helping the two back to their rooms.

The Old Madam fell silent at these words. Her face darkened as she stared at the drowsy Xiang Mingli on the bed. Suddenly, she said, "Go get a doctor."
Mrs. Wang was taken aback. "The butler said..."

Mrs. Wang hesitated.
