I Regressed With a 10,000x God-Tier Multiplier

Chapter 119: The Silence After, Monarchy of Obsidian

The sun set completely over the Sanctum of Solaris.

Zephyria hung ten thousand feet above the human capital like a massive jagged black mountain silhouetted against the starry sky. The ten thousand Cryo-Pylons ringing the perimeter glowed with a faint steady blue light.

The floating city was quiet. The deafening hum of the Aether-Forge had ceased. The rhythmic thunder of marching iron boots was over. The fifty thousand Glacial Wyrms roosted silently on the battlements and their white scales blended into the dark stone.

Lucifer stood on the golden observation deck of the Spire of Celestial Convergence.

He rested his iron gauntlets on the railing and looked down at the dark sprawling continent below. The capital city was no longer burning. The fires had been extinguished. The streets were clear of Void Beasts. The massive golden dome of Solaris’s Prison was gone.

The Shattered Plains were completely empty save for the massive craters left by the orbital drop and the Star-Shatter Cannon.

Lucifer opened his system interface.

[Global Status: Mortal Plane Pacified.]

[Total Allied Forces: 15,450,000+ (Contracted).]

[Total Mechanized Units: 1,000 Paladin-Mechs, 5,000 Aether-Steel Dragoons.]

[Total Aerial Units: 50,000 Glacial Wyrms (Sub-Adult - Elite).]

He had won the tutorial.

In his past life, humanity had spent a decade slowly bleeding to death, fighting endless skirmishes against undead swarms and minor Abyssal breaches. The King’s armies had fractured into petty factions. The Church had hoarded healing magic. The nobles had betrayed each other for scraps of land.

Lucifer had skipped the attrition phase. He had forcefully unified the military capability of the entire human race under a single unbreakable command structure in less than a month! He had stripped the corrupt leadership, claimed the ultimate high ground, and secured a permanent self-sustaining power source.

He swiped the interface away.

The heavy platinum doors of the observation deck opened behind him.

His commanders walked out onto the golden platform. They did not march in rigid military formation. They walked together and their respective auras blended in the cool high-altitude air.

Elara, the Twilight Sovereign, stood on Lucifer’s left. Her iridescent dark armor shifted smoothly. Her massive wings of moonlight and void energy folded tightly against her back.

Lyra, the Dawn Saintess, stood beside Elara. She wore her pristine silver battle armor and her white tabard was immaculate. The blinding holy light that usually radiated from her core was suppressed and replaced by a warm comforting silver glow.

Sarah, the Star-Touched Oracle, walked to Lucifer’s right. She held the Scepter of Cosmic Alignment and its violet orb pulsed softly. She looked up at the stars and was completely at peace.

Isolde, the Winter Sovereign, stood near the edge of the deck. The Dragon Queen wore her shimmering ice-crystal gown. Her white reptilian eyes scanned the dark horizon and possessed the calm arrogance of an apex predator with no remaining rivals.

Vexia, the Sanguine Princess, hovered a few inches off the golden floor and her red bat wings beat lazily. She smirked and clearly enjoyed the absolute safety of the sky-fortress.

Lucifer turned away from the railing and looked at them.

"The ground is secure," Lucifer stated smoothly. His voice carried no commanding edge. It was a simple factual report.

"High Ranger Celeste just transmitted her final sweep," Elara confirmed and her golden eyes met his void-swirling gaze. "The thirteen million mortal soldiers have established permanent encampments along the southern borders. The Royal Palace is heavily garrisoned by the Solaris Templars. The King is issuing the tax decrees as ordered. He is fully compliant."

"He doesn’t have a choice," Lyra noted softly. "The people look to the sky now, not the throne room."

"And the treasury?" Lucifer asked and looked at Vexia.

"Empty," Vexia grinned and her fangs flashed. "I supervised the transfer myself. Every gold coin, every raw mana crystal, and every useless magical trinket the Crown hoarded is currently sitting in the deepest vaults of Zephyria. Thrain is swimming in resources."

"The Sanguine Grid is stable," Vexia added and crossed her pale arms. "The blood wards are perfectly synchronized with the Cryo-Pylons. The city is fully self-sustaining. We could float here for a thousand years without needing to touch the dirt."

Lucifer nodded. The logistics were flawless.

He looked at Sarah.

"Are the atmospheric leylines holding our position?" Lucifer inquired.

Sarah smiled. It was a bright genuine expression that reached her cosmic eyes.

"They are perfect, Lucifer," Sarah whispered and her musical voice carried a deep sense of relief. She pointed her scepter at the massive violet crystal embedded in the deck. "The Spire acts as a perfect anchor. We are completely isolated from the chaotic magical storms on the ground. We are a sovereign territory in the clouds."

Lucifer crossed his iron gauntlets over his dark leather breastplate.

He looked at the five women standing in front of him. They were the most powerful entities on the continent. They were a mix of celestial light, dark matter, primal frost, pure starlight, and ancient blood magic.

In a normal world, they would have slaughtered each other! They represented entirely conflicting magical alignments.

But they were perfectly unified. They were bound by shared battles, overwhelming power, and absolute loyalty to the Warlord who had freed them from their respective cages.

"We broke the Coalition. We shattered the Cathedral. We pacified the Crown," Lucifer summarized smoothly.

He unhooked his longsword from his belt. He did not draw the blade. He held the heavy black scabbard in his left hand. The Heart of Ruin pulsed steadily against his hip with a sentient dark rhythm that matched his own.

"The mortal plane is ours," Lucifer declared.

He did not shout. The words were a quiet resonant fact.

Elara stepped forward. The Twilight Sovereign did not bow or kneel. She stood tall and her presence matched his own massive aura. She reached out and placed her gauntleted hand over his right arm.

"You built an empire in a month, Warlord," Elara said and her voice was filled with fierce predatory pride. "You conquered the earth, and you claimed the sky."

"I claimed the launching pad," Lucifer corrected her softly.

He looked out over the golden railing and stared into the deep endless black of the night sky above them.

"The human kingdoms were never the threat," Lucifer explained and his void eyes narrowed slightly. "The Lich Lords, the corrupt nobles, the greedy bishops... they were just obstacles. They were wasting resources we need for the real fight."

He turned back to his commanders.

"The Abyss is not a myth," Lucifer stated coldly. "The Eclipse Convergence was just a fraction of the pressure they can exert on reality.

The true demon lords, the Primordials... they are waiting in the dark. They are watching us right now."

Sarah gripped her scepter tighter. The starlight in her eyes flickered slightly as she remembered the terrifying colossal eye that had stared down at them from the sky.

"Nihilus," Sarah whispered.

"He offered me a pact," Lucifer confirmed. "I accepted it. I am the Viceroy of Shadows."

Lyra gasped softly. The Dawn Saintess stared at him in shock. "You struck a deal with the Father of the Void?"

"I secured an advantage," Lucifer replied smoothly. He did not look apologetic. "I gained the ability to summon an Umbral Legion directly into the mortal plane without portals. I gained absolute spatial dominance. I did not surrender my will."

He stepped closer to Lyra. His dark armor pushed against her holy aura, but it did not crush it. The two opposing magics balanced each other perfectly.

"We are going to fight beings that create dimensions, Saintess," Lucifer said and his voice dropped to a low rumble.

"We cannot afford to restrict our arsenal. I will use the dark to fight the dark. I will use your light to burn whatever is left."

Lyra took a slow breath. The absolute terrifying certainty in his voice grounded her. She nodded firmly and her grip tightened on her silver broadsword. "I understand, Grand Marshal. I fight for Obsidian. Whatever the source of your power, my Light is yours."

"Good," Lucifer said.

He looked at Isolde and Vexia. The Dragon Queen and the Sanguine Princess were both grinning. They did not care about moral alignments.

They cared about dominance. A pact with a Primordial god simply meant their Warlord was the most dangerous entity in existence.

"The army is resting," Lucifer announced. "The Titans are fully charged. The Wyrms are fed. The defense grid is absolute."

He sheathed his longsword securely at his hip.

"We have finished the preparation phase," Lucifer declared and his void-swirling eyes locked onto each of his commanders. "We hold the highest ground. We have infinite resources. Let the human kingdoms rebuild in the mud."

He turned back to the golden railing.

The silence on the observation deck was profound. It was not the tense suffocating silence of a battlefield before a charge.

It was the calm absolute silence of apex predators sitting at the top of the food chain! They were completely unbothered by the world below.

Lucifer rested his iron gauntlets on the cold gold.

He did not need to look at a system interface to know his status. He felt the terrifying limitless power of the Void Monarch core humming in his chest.

He felt the absolute devotion of the five Mythic entities standing behind him.

He had changed the timeline! The world was not going to end in fire and screams while a cowardly king hid in a vault.

If the world ended, it would end because Lucifer of Obsidian decided to break it!

"We wait," Lucifer whispered to the starry sky and his voice was a low echoing rumble of absolute authority. "Let the Abyss make the first move. Let them try to breach my walls."

He stared into the deep void and a cold predatory smirk touched his lips.

"I am ready."
