I Regressed With a 10,000x God-Tier Multiplier

Chapter 114: The Return of the King, Spatial Arrival

The antechamber was quiet save for the weak ragged breathing of High Warlock Xoroth.

Lucifer stood in the center of the pristine white marble room. He did not immediately execute the broken mage.

His void-swirling eyes scanned the heavy jagged black crystal resting on the floor a few feet away.

The Abyssal Charge.

"Don’t touch it," Elara warned as she stepped up beside Lucifer. The Valkyrie kept her violet-flaming spear leveled at the Warlock.

"The magical casing is fractured from the Starlight Purge. If the dark matter inside destabilizes, it will blow a hole in the Primary Conduit."

"I am not going to touch it," Lucifer stated smoothly.

He raised his right hand. The Gauntlet of the Void King crackled with black lightning.

"Gravity Crush," Lucifer commanded.

A microscopic black hole materialized directly over the explosive! The intense localized gravity slammed down.

CRUNCH!

The Abyssal Charge was instantly pulverized. The dense volatile explosive magic was crushed into a completely inert harmless pile of black dust before it could even trigger a spark!

Lucifer closed his fist and dismissed the singularity.

He turned his attention back to the Warlock.

Xoroth was a pathetic sight. The Starlight Purge had burned his eyes away entirely and left empty scorched sockets.

His midnight blue robes were reduced to smoking rags. He dragged himself backward across the marble and his hands left bloody smears on the pristine floor.

"You... you cannot do this," Xoroth gasped with his voice a wet scraping wheeze. He realized Lucifer was standing over him.

"I am... I am an emissary of the deep Abyss. If you strike me down... my masters will tear your floating rock out of the sky."

"Your masters are already watching me," Lucifer corrected him coldly. He remembered the massive purple-rimmed eye of Nihilus staring down at him during the Eclipse. "And they don’t care about you. You are a mercenary who failed his contract."

Lucifer raised his ruby-red longsword.

Before he could bring the blade down, his system interface flashed a sudden jagged red warning!

[System Alert: High-Density Spatial Breach Detected!]

[Location: Primary Conduit Room (Current Location).]

[Warning: Multiple Hostile Entities teleporting into sector.]

Lucifer’s eyes narrowed.

The air in the center of the antechamber suddenly warped violently!

It was not a crude jagged purple tear like a standard Umbral portal. It was a precise flawless multi-layered spatial fold.

The ambient light in the room bent inward and formed a massive swirling vortex of silver and gray magic.

"They breached the Sanguine Grid again!" Sarah shouted and raised her Scepter of Cosmic Alignment.

"It’s not an Umbral tear," Elara noted as she stepped in front of the Oracle. The Valkyrie’s golden eyes recognized the clean sharp magical signature. "It is Royal magic. A high-tier mass teleportation spell."

Lucifer lowered his sword.

The silver vortex snapped open.

A group of heavily armored men stepped out of the spatial fold.

There were twenty of them. They did not wear the standard iron-gray of the noble houses or the silver plate of the Royal Guard.

They wore immaculate master-crafted armor forged from a blindingly white pearlescent metal! Deep gold runes etched into the breastplates pulsed with continuous heavy defensive magic.

They carried long elegant halberds tipped with glowing blue aether-crystals.

They were the King’s absolute elite. The Royal Protectors!

[System: Elite Hostiles Engaged.]

[Entity: Royal Protectors (Level 45 - Elite Guards)]

[Quantity: 20]

[Status: Heavy Anti-Magic Wards Active.]

And stepping out of the portal directly behind the line of Royal Protectors was Lord Vorian!

The noble did not look like the Revenant corpse Xoroth had resurrected in the Aether-Forge. He was alive! His thick black beard was neatly trimmed. He wore his heavy fur mantle over pristine iron-gray plate armor.

The horrific scar around his neck from Lucifer’s execution strike was entirely gone and replaced by smooth unblemished skin.

He held his enchanted broadsword casually and a cruel arrogant smirk spread across his face.

Lucifer stared at him.

The Warlord did not look shocked. He looked profoundly annoyed.

"Another decoy," Lucifer stated coldly. He looked down at the blind whimpering Warlock against the wall. "You didn’t just split your own soul. You cast an Abyssal Simulacrum on a dead lord to distract my architect in the basement."

"I told you he was a rat," Vorian sneered and stepped out from behind his wall of elite guards.

The noble looked around the antechamber. He saw the pulverized remains of the Abyssal Charge. He saw the blind burned Warlock.

Vorian’s smile widened.

"Xoroth failed," Vorian noted and sounded entirely unbothered. "He was supposed to blow the engine while you were busy playing King on the ground. A shame. But a minor inconvenience."

"You are alive," Elara stated with her voice tight with absolute disdain. "The cowardly lord used a proxy to die for him on the Shattered Plains."

"I used a tactical withdrawal," Vorian corrected her smoothly. "I left a body double to entertain you. A man of my station does not risk his neck in a vanguard charge when he can buy his way out."

Vorian pointed his broadsword directly at Lucifer!

"You thought you were so clever, upstart," Vorian mocked. "You dropped your Titans. You trapped the army in a cage of light. You crushed the King’s command bunker. You thought you had the entire capital paralyzed."

"I do," Lucifer replied softly. His void eyes locked onto the noble.

"You don’t," Vorian barked. "While you were parading around the palace like a conqueror, I took the King’s Royal Protectors.

I used the highest-tier teleportation scroll in the Royal Treasury. We bypassed your entire fleet of dragons and your freezing towers. We jumped straight to the heart of your floating rock."

Vorian gestured to the massive glowing blue pillar of the Primary Conduit humming behind Sarah.

"Xoroth’s bomb would have been poetic," Vorian continued with his eyes gleaming with greedy anticipation. "But capturing the control room is infinitely better.

When I sever your connection to the engine, Zephyria becomes my ship. I will fly this fortress right back down to the capital.

I will be the savior of the realm. And you will be executed as a pirate."

The twenty Royal Protectors advanced and lowered their glowing blue halberds. They formed a tight impenetrable crescent around Vorian! Their pearlescent armor hummed loudly and projected a massive localized anti-magic field that rippled the air.

"Their armor is completely immune to direct magical assaults," Elara warned Lucifer quietly. "The aether-crystals on their halberds are designed to shatter spatial wards. Void Step will not work near them."

"I don’t need to teleport," Lucifer said.

He did not activate his Warlord aura. He knew the Royal Protectors wore high-tier mental wards that would temporarily blunt the Fear of the Predator effect.

Lucifer stepped forward.

His heavy iron boots cracked the white marble floor. He moved with slow deliberate terrifying confidence.

The blood from the battle on the plains still coated his dark leather tunic. The black soot from the Star-Shatter Cannon stained his gauntlets. He did not look like a noble fighting a duel. He looked like an executioner walking to the block!

"You bought a teleport scroll," Lucifer said smoothly with his voice echoing in the silent room. "You bypassed the perimeter. You stand in my antechamber with twenty shiny guards."

He stopped exactly ten feet away from the front line of halberds.

"You think you are an infiltrator," Lucifer stated coldly. "But you are just a rat trapped in a new cage."

"Kill him!" Vorian shrieked. His arrogant composure snapped under the immense crushing psychological pressure of Lucifer’s void-swirling gaze. "Cut him down!"

The twenty Royal Protectors lunged simultaneously!

They moved with elite drilled perfection. Ten halberds thrust forward aiming for Lucifer’s chest, while the other ten swept low to cut his legs out from under him.

The glowing blue aether-crystals hummed violently and were ready to shatter his magical defenses.

Lucifer did not cast a spell. He did not block.

He activated Zephyr’s Grace!

The world slowed to an absolute agonizing crawl.

Lucifer became a blur of dark motion. He did not teleport, he used pure unadulterated physical speed that broke the sound barrier inside the enclosed room!

He stepped directly into the wall of halberds!

He slipped effortlessly between the thrusting blades and moved faster than the elite guards could even register.

He bypassed their weapons entirely and stepped right into the center of their crescent formation.

He deactivated the speed emblem. Time snapped back to normal.

The Royal Protectors gasped in shock and realized the Warlord was suddenly standing behind their shield wall! He was directly in front of Lord Vorian.

"You brought anti-magic armor," Lucifer said with his voice a low rumble right next to Vorian’s ear.

Lucifer swung his longsword!

He did not swing at the guards. He swung in a massive horizontal arc that perfectly encompassed the entire crescent formation.

The Carnage Core flared violently.

The ruby-red light of the True Damage enchantment flooded the blade.

SHING!

The heavy enchanted steel sliced cleanly through the air!

The pearlescent armor of the Royal Protectors was designed to deflect fireballs, lightning, and spatial tearing. It was completely utterly useless against a mathematical absolute!

The True Damage blade passed through the twenty elite guards without a single spark of resistance!

For a fraction of a second, the guards stood perfectly still.

Then, the top halves of all twenty Royal Protectors slid smoothly off their waists!

Twenty torsos hit the white marble floor simultaneously with a deafening clatter of heavy metal and blood.

The severed legs collapsed a second later. The elite guard of the human kingdom was completely annihilated in a single flawless stroke of a sword.

[System: Hostiles Eliminated: 20x Royal Protectors (Level 45)]

Lord Vorian stood alone in the center of the carnage.

He was completely covered in the blood of his own guards. The noble stared down at the bisected bodies surrounding him. He looked at the Warlord’s ruby-red blade.

The broadsword fell from Vorian’s trembling hand. It clattered loudly against the stone.

Vorian fell to his knees. The arrogance, the cunning, the aristocratic pride, all of it vanished instantly! He was a coward who had finally run out of decoys.

"P-Please," Vorian wept and raised his shaking bloodstained hands. "I yield... I yield the King’s codes... I will serve Obsidian..."

Lucifer looked down at the weeping noble.

"You stained my carpet," Lucifer said coldly.

He raised his right hand. The Gauntlet of the Void King crackled with black lightning.

"Absolute Crush," Lucifer commanded.

He pointed his iron gauntlet directly at Lord Vorian’s head!

The intense localized singularity materialized. The gravity slammed down instantly!

Vorian did not even have time to scream! The immense pressure crushed his heavy iron-gray helmet flat against his shoulders.

The noble’s entire upper body was violently compacted into a shapeless bloody mass of twisted metal and shattered bone.

Lucifer closed his fist. The singularity vanished.

The crushed remains of Lord Vorian slumped onto the marble floor.

[Target Eliminated: Lord Vorian (Level 42)]

[Status: True Death Confirmed.]

Lucifer lowered his hand. He did not wipe the blood off his sword. He simply sheathed the weapon.

The antechamber was silent again save for the hum of the Primary Conduit.

Elara stepped forward and stepped carefully over the severed bodies. She looked at the crushed remains of the noble. "He won’t use another decoy."

"He won’t use anything," Lucifer agreed smoothly.

He turned around.

High Warlock Xoroth was still slumped against the far wall. The blind burned mage had heard the slaughter. He was shaking uncontrollably and weeping in pure terror.

Lucifer walked over to the broken warlock.

"You," Lucifer stated coldly. "You know the Royal Palace defense grid."

"I... I do!" Xoroth babbled frantically and turned his blind scarred face toward the Warlord’s voice. "I have the codes! I can drop the anti-magic dome! Please! I offer my mind!"

"Good," Lucifer said.

He turned to Sarah.

"Oracle," Lucifer ordered. "Take what is left of his mind. Extract the codes. And then bleed him."

Sarah gripped her scepter. She looked at the pathetic warlock who had tried to blow her up. She did not hesitate. The starlight in her eyes burned with cold absolute resolve.

Lucifer turned away from the execution.

"Elara. With me," Lucifer commanded and walked back toward the heavy shattered iron doors of the antechamber. "The King is out of guards. It is time to end the monarchy."
