I Regressed With a 10,000x God-Tier Multiplier

Chapter 86: The Heart of the World-Eater

The air above the Umbral Ridge was still superheated.

Lucifer stood behind the massive, golden wall of the one thousand Paladin-Mechs.

The twenty-meter-tall machines stood perfectly rigid, their aether-cannons cooling down.

Behind them, the thirteen million mortal soldiers.

The Star-Shatter Cannon fired. The Doomsday Pearl, amplified a million times by the system glitch, vaporized the central peak of the mountain range.

The sheer volume of displaced rock and unrefined Umbral Ore had settled into a dust storm that hung heavily in the zero gravity dimension.

High Ranger Celeste rode her armored dire wolf back from the edge of the blast zone. She pulled up sharply in front of Lucifer, her scarred face tight with sudden, intense alarm.

"Grand Marshal," Celeste reported, her voice breathless. "My scouts reached the epicenter. The mountain is gone, but the entity inside it... it is not dead."

Elara stepped forward instantly. The Eclipse Valkyrie gripped her violet-flaming spear, her Twilight wings shifting defensively.

"Not dead? The cannon delivered a point-blank necrotic detonation multiplied by a million. Nothing in this dimension survives that."

"It didn’t survive the rot," Celeste clarified, pointing her silver dagger toward the swirling dust. "It absorbed the impact.

The physical shell of the mountain was vaporized, but the core of the beast is hovering in the sky directly above the crater. It is massive. And it is beating."

Lucifer’s expression hardened into a mask of pure, cold iron.

He walked to the edge of the crater. Elara and Lyra flanked him.

The dust began to clear.

Hovering five hundred feet in the bruised-purple sky above the ruined mountain was a biological horror that defied logic.

It was a heart.

But it wasn’t a normal organ. It was the size of a large cathedral, made of pulsing dark-purple flesh and thick black arteries. Thousands of Umbral Ore spikes jutted out like massive external ribs.

It hovered unsupported in the air, completely isolated from any physical body.

[System Warning: Apex Boss Encounter!]

[Entity: The Heart of the World-Eater (Level 75 - Mythic)]

[Status: Core Exposed. Initiating Defense Matrix.]

Lucifer stared up at the large beating heart.

In his past life, the World-Eater was the entity responsible for the final, apocalyptic breach of the human capital.

It was a primordial Void god that consumed entire dimensions. Lucifer had just blown off its physical mountain shell, but the core was still intact, and it was significantly higher level than anything he had fought so far.

And worse, because he had used the Doomsday Pearl, a necrotic explosive the Void entity had simply gorged on the death magic, using the ambient destruction to completely solidify its outer defenses.

"Level 75," Lyra whispered, her blue eyes wide with absolute dread. The Dawn Saintess gripped her silver broadsword.

"Lucifer, you are capped at fifty. The level gap is too massive. Even the Paladin-Mechs cannot damage an entity that dense."

"We will see," Lucifer stated smoothly.

He raised his Gauntlet of the Void King, pointing his dark-metal-clad fingers directly at the hovering Heart.

"Paladin-Mechs," Lucifer commanded over the comms rune. "Target the core. Continuous holy barrage."

The one thousand golden giants responded instantly.

They angled their massive right arms upward, tracking the pulsating purple organ in the sky.

A loud synchronized whine filled the air.

One thousand crackling, holy aether-cannons fired simultaneously.

A blinding, solid pillar of pure, concentrated white sunlight erupted from the ground and ripped through the gray sky.

The holy barrage slammed directly into the center of the World-Eater’s Heart.

The impact was spectacular. The sheer volume of Light magic fighting the dense Void energy created a aurora borealis of violent, clashing colors.

But as the smoke from the blasts cleared, the reality of a Level 75 Mythic boss became apparent.

The Heart of the World-Eater was completely untouched.

The dark purple flesh didn’t even singe. The black arteries continued to pulse rhythmically.

A massive, transparent hexagonal shield of deep black energy formed just inches above the surface of the organ.

The holy barrage was striking the shield and splashing harmlessly into the sky, completely negated by the boss’s defensive mechanics.

[System Analysis: Boss Defense Matrix Active.]

[Buff: Abyssal Carapace.]

[Effect: 99% Damage Mitigation. Nullifies all attacks below Level 70.]

"It absorbed the entire volley," Elara noted, her voice tight with frustration. "The shield mitigates ninety-nine percent of the damage. We are throwing pebbles at a fortress wall."

"It’s a hard DPS check," Lucifer stated coldly. "The system is forcing a wall to prevent low-level raids from clearing high-tier zones."

"Then we are stuck," Celeste said, her dire wolf whining as the heartbeat vibrated its paws. "If the Mechs can’t scratch it, the mortals definitely can’t.

We have no weapons capable of breaching a Level 75 mitigation shield."

Lucifer just stood there, he didn’t panic.

He turned away from the unkillable, hovering boss.

"We don’t need a weapon to breach it," Lucifer corrected the High Ranger softly. "We need a weapon to erase it."

He looked at the massive, dark iron carriage of the Star-Shatter Cannon resting on the jagged ore near the edge of the crater.

The colossal artillery piece was currently smoking, its dense, blue-runic barrel glowing white-hot from the one-million-times multiplied necrotic blast it had just fired. It was completely empty.

"Isolde," Lucifer commanded over the comms rune.

High above the crater, the Winter Sovereign was circling the area with her two thousand Glacial Wyrms, keeping the airspace clear of any remaining Coalition stragglers.

"I am here, Warlord," Isolde replied, her voice echoing down from the clouds. "The sky is secure. The Heart is shielded. My brood’s frostfire will not penetrate that barrier."

"I don’t want frostfire," Lucifer said. "I want the gun loaded."

He opened his Dimensional Vault.

Lucifer reached deep into his spatial storage. He grabbed a specific, incredibly rare item he had looted from the during a previous raid.

He pulled it out.

It was not a silver sphere like the Cataclysm Orb, nor a necrotic crystal like the Doomsday Pearl. It was a perfectly smooth, blindingly bright golden teardrop, humming with intense, concentrated holy energy.

It felt warm to the touch, radiating a purity that instantly pushed back the gray gloom of the Umbra.

[Item: Tear of Solaris]

[Tier: Legendary Consumable]

[Effect: Unleashes a localized shockwave of absolute, unadulterated solar fire. Deals 500% bonus damage to Void entities. Highly unstable.]

"A holy bomb?" Lyra asked, stepping forward, drawn to the familiar, brilliant light radiating from the crystal. "Lucifer, the Heart mitigates all damage below Level 70. Even a Legendary holy artifact will barely scratch the Carapace."

"I am not going to scratch it," Lucifer said smoothly. His void-swirling eyes locked onto the glowing golden teardrop. "I am going to overload its mitigation shield with pure, unadulterated system math."

He carried the heavy Tear of Solaris over to the Star-Shatter Cannon.

Lucifer hauled the massive iron breech open. He shoved the glowing golden crystal directly into the firing chamber and slammed the heavy lock shut.

The white-hot runes along the cannon’s barrel instantly shifted, turning a blinding, pure white as the weapon synchronized with the new ammunition.

"Elara. Lyra," Lucifer ordered, his voice dropping to a dangerous, lethal rumble. "Get back to the mortal line. Keep the shields up."

The Valkyrie and the Dawn Saintess did not hesitate. They sprinted backward, moving fifty yards away to stand with the Paladin-Mechs.

Lucifer stood entirely alone next to the smoking, thirty-foot-long artillery cannon.

He didn’t just grab the firing lever.

He placed his Gauntlet of the Void King flat against the glowing white runes of the heavy iron barrel. He closed his eyes.

The black lightning crackling across his knuckles synced perfectly with the weapon’s dense metal.

Lucifer synchronized his Warlord core, his Void Arcanist magic, and his Apex Multiplier directly into the physical structure of the Star-Shatter Cannon.

[System: Artillery Link Established.]

[Ammunition: Tear of Solaris (Legendary)]

[Target: The Heart of the World-Eater (Mitigation Shield: 99%)]

The massive biological heartbeat hovering in the sky seemed to sense the shifting magic.

The Heart pulsed faster, the black arteries bulging as the boss prepared to unleash a massive, retaliatory wave of Void magic to wipe the army off the ridge.

Lucifer did not give it the chance.

"System," Lucifer commanded softly. The void in his eyes spun wildly, consuming the ambient gray light around the cannon.

He had triggered the million-fold glitch once by accident when firing the Doomsday Pearl. This time, he forced it.

"Apply the Apex Multiplier," Lucifer whispered.

He didn’t just target the explosive yield. He targeted the physical mechanics of the spell.

"Multiply the projectile count."

[Divine Talent: Apex Multiplier Activated!]

[Applying 1,000,000x multiplier to Projectile Generation...]

[Warning: Physical Weapon Integrity Compromised. Catastrophic Failure Imminent.]

Lucifer opened his eyes. He grabbed the firing lever and yanked it backward with all of his Level 50 strength.

The Star-Shatter Cannon did not fire a single, massive holy explosion.

The internal mechanics of the Mythic weapon, combined with the forced one-million-fold multiplier, broke the physical laws of the universe.

The cannon roared, a loud continuous, screeching sound of tearing metal and highly compressed magic.

Instead of one Tear of Solaris, the cannon fired one million Tear of Solaris bombs simultaneously in a single, perfectly focused, microscopic stream of blinding white light.

The concentrated beam of infinite solar fire ripped through the sky and slammed directly into the Heart’s 99% mitigation shield.

The system crashed.

The boss’s shield reduced the incoming damage by ninety-nine percent. But one percent of one million legendary bombs was still ten thousand legendary holy bombs hitting the exact same pixel of the barrier in a microsecond.

The black hexagonal shield shatter.

The concentrated white beam punched straight through the defense matrix and struck the dark purple flesh of the massive, beating heart.

Lucifer stood next to the cannon, his dark armor illuminated by the blinding, pure light of a million suns.

He watched the absolute execution of a Level 75 Mythic boss.

The Warlord had not broken the shield with strength; he had broken it with sheer, overwhelming volume.
