Chapter 109: Let the People of the Great Jing Empire Have a Good Look
"Ji Shengyue, so this is why you don’t take me seriously?"
Jerry said disdainfully, having finally understood.
Joliton’s smile froze on his face.
He suddenly realized he’d completely misunderstood Jerry’s intentions.
He had originally thought that Jerry had reviewed some information on the Great Jing Empire before his arrival, recognized the member of the Time Girl Group, and was merely venting his frustration at not being properly greeted earlier. That was why he had so eagerly gone straight for the jugular, mocking the sore spot in Ji Shengyue’s heart.
But now, it seemed that wasn’t the case at all.
"What do you mean by that?"
Ji Shengyue frowned.
She could also tell there was a hidden meaning behind Jerry’s words.
Jerry’s smile was like a spider lily blooming in the moonlight—mysterious and unsettling.
His fingers traced the silky fabric of his black tuxedo, as if playing a silent melody.
As his fingers danced, his body began to transform, dissolving into a dense swarm of bats that instantly filled the room.
The temperature in the once-warm room plummeted. An icy chill, sharp as a blade, cut at everyone’s skin.
Ji Shengyue felt a bone-piercing chill wash over her from all directions.
She shivered involuntarily, her pupils wide with shock.
Joliton’s brow was furrowed, his face pale.
He recalled certain ancient legends from the Lighthouse Empire—tales of those who lurked in the shadows... the Vampire Nobility.
Now, witnessing this legendary sight with his own eyes, a wave of terror washed over him.
As everyone watched in terror, a figure silently appeared behind Min Kexin.
The figure was elegant and mysterious, seeming to have emerged from the dead of night, and it exuded a suffocating, oppressive aura.
He reached out, gently wrapping his arms around Min Kexin’s waist. Then he opened his mouth, revealing a pair of sharp, pale fangs.
Without warning, the fangs plunged into Min Kexin’s porcelain-white neck.
A flicker of terror crossed Min Kexin’s eyes before being swallowed by darkness.
Jerry stood there, a mocking smile on his face.
His throat bobbed as he drank, making GULP GULP sounds, as if savoring a sweet ambrosia.
In a matter of seconds, the body of Min Kexin, a Martial Artist of the Emperor Realm, began to shrivel rapidly.
Her skin became like dried bark, losing all moisture and elasticity.
Her very muscles and bones seemed to be drained, leaving her withered and frail.
The light in her eyes gradually faded.
Jerry let go, and Min Kexin’s body fell limply to the floor like a desiccated corpse, utterly drained of blood.
Her body showed no pulse, no breath, no sign of life whatsoever.
Ji Shengyue’s eyes widened in disbelief. She couldn’t accept what was happening right in front of her.
The pen in her hand bent slightly under her grip, and she lost control of her legs out of sheer terror.
She couldn’t imagine how such a powerful Martial Artist could be so utterly defenseless before Count Jerry!
Jerry sauntered over to Min Kexin’s desiccated corpse and crouched down.
He drew a finger across his palm, and a cut instantly split open, blood welling forth.
He gently moved his hand to Min Kexin’s lips, letting his blood drip into her mouth.
As the blood dripped in, Min Kexin’s mouth slowly parted, as if being infused with new Life Force.
Her body began to tremble again as her shriveled flesh rapidly inflated like a balloon.
The wrinkles that had made her skin look like dried bark smoothed out, and her skin became smooth and supple once more.
The entire process was like some bizarre Magic show, leaving everyone dumbfounded.
Jerry stood up, admiring his handiwork with satisfaction. An unknowing observer might have thought he had just completed an exquisite painting.
The same mocking smile remained on his face. To him, this was all just a game.
’What in the world is Jerry doing?’
’Is Min Kexin dead or alive?’
Ji Shengyue’s mind raced with questions, but for the moment, there were no answers.
Just as Ji Shengyue was lost in speculation, Min Kexin, who had been lying on the floor, suddenly opened her eyes and rose stiffly to her feet.
Then she did something that left Ji Shengyue utterly stunned.
She walked to Jerry’s side, dropped to one knee, and cried out, "Master!"
At this, Ji Shengyue couldn’t stop herself from losing her composure, slamming her hand down on the table.
However, it was as if Min Kexin neither saw nor heard Ji Shengyue’s outburst.
She continued to gaze at Jerry with devout reverence, giving the impression that she would walk through fire and water for him if he but gave the word.
"Ji Shengyue, I trust you’ll finalize the compensation agreement from Joliton as soon as possible."
Jerry rested his hand on top of Min Kexin’s head.
Min Kexin, in turn, closed her eyes, seemingly enjoying the intimate gesture.
Jerry continued, "Did you think that cultivating one expert at the Emperor Realm was enough to let you, Her Majesty the Queen, stand tall before our Lighthouse Empire?
"I have just given you my answer with a demonstration of fact.
"You must understand, the Emperor Realm is a classification that *we* in the Lighthouse Empire created.
"The entire Blue Star now uses the realm names declared by our Lighthouse Empire."
With that, Jerry started walking toward Ji Shengyue.
Just before he reached the desk, Jerry pressed his bloodless hand on its surface, and the entire desk instantly disintegrated into a pile of dust.
With the obstacle gone, Jerry stood before Ji Shengyue.
He then shot out a hand, grabbed Ji Shengyue by the neck, and lifted her clean off the floor with one arm. His fingers slowly tightened their grip.
As his grip tightened around her throat, Ji Shengyue’s face flushed crimson,
but her eyes still blazed with fury. Jerry, however, didn’t care.
His other hand grabbed her clothes. With a gentle tug, the fabric disintegrated into pieces that fluttered to the floor.
Her exquisitely maintained body was now completely exposed to everyone in the office.
Joliton stared, his eyes practically bulging.
As a citizen of the Lighthouse Empire, Joliton had always looked down on the rulers of other nations,
but he had to admit, this Queen of the Great Jing Empire was undeniably attractive.
Even by the standards of the Lighthouse Empire, she would be considered beautiful.
Now, with her body laid bare before him, Joliton felt a physical reaction.
Joliton’s mind began to race with fantasies of brutally taking Ji Shengyue—drilling her like a well for its water, pounding her like a pile driver.
Ji Shengyue’s mind went completely blank.
Never in her wildest dreams had she imagined she would suffer such a humiliation.
"From now on, the Great Jing Empire is a slave state of the Lighthouse Empire. And you are my slave.
"Do you agree?"
Jerry asked with a wide grin, his eyes roaming freely over Ji Shengyue’s body. "If you don’t agree, I’ll throw you out of this office right now,
"and let your ministers, your secretaries, and your security guards all get a good look.
"Let them see just how magnificent the body of Her Majesty the Queen of the Great Jing Empire truly is.
"Let all the people of your Great Jing Empire admire it as well.
"After all, creatures as lowly as them—no better than pigs or dogs—would probably never get such a chance in their lifetimes.
"They might even all be grateful to me."
