Chapter 120: Three Lights
The middle aged man left the main stage and instead a group of female cultivators walked up to the stage, their hips swinging left and right, wearing thin garments. An air of allure spread from them as they all took position -
Some posed leaning to the right, their hands resting on their hips. Others leaned to the left.
In the centre were three women, all having reached the age of jewels, leaning slightly forward.
"Let the music begin!" the one in the centre said, her shoulders moving back and forth as she straightened herself -
"Red Light, blue light, purple light~" in the back, a smaller group started singing the chorus.
Thump!
The women in the centre jumped up, raising their hands into the skies -
Red light to the left, blue light to the right, purple light in the centre -
"Roses shining in the bright light!" the band continued to sing, leading the groups left and right to bend over, their heads landing on the ground -
Swish!
Suddenly they took extreme speed, their arms reaching their legs, their legs forming a V shape in the air -
The fast movement created a small illusion of roses!
"Red light descends on the roses!" the band said as they repeated the chorus ’Red light, blue light, purple light!’
Blue and purple light leaned away while red light jumped up, landing right above the swirling roses!
Her red light suddenly spread and a whirlwind formed from the spinning roses, creating a small air current that allowed her to hover in the air above the roses!
She herself lay down flat, taking the vague shape of a plate!
Swish!
Her body moved even faster than that of the women below her - with each swirl she spread her red light all around, tinting the room red!
"Blue light descends on the roses!" the singers sang, ’Red light, blue light, purple light!’
The same happened, the female cultivator flew onto the roses on the right, lying flat but straight, swirling extremely fast - blue light spread from the cultivator, meeting the red light!
Red and blue, large circle and small circle -
In the centre, a vague purple light formed!
"Red and blue, a beauty indeed, red and blue, a great bliss!" the singers behind sang while the chorus came again, ’Red light, blue light, purple light!’
The female cultivator in the middle suddenly took a step forward, her body stepping on purple steps that suddenly formed in the centre air in front of her -

"Purple light, origin of bliss and beauty, blessing all people!" she called forth, the heart in front of her rising into the sky, exploding and spreading purple light all over!
Specks of light flew over to all cultivators, the shell of the heart that exploded directly flying to the second floor!
As Fengyu saw these fall on him, he thought about dodging but seeing everyone else calmly receive them, he simply allowed it to fall into his body.
The light directly rose to his head before dissipating, a cooling sensation spreading over his body.
He felt his mind clearing slightly, and looking at his hand, he saw that they became smoother, the roughness of touching ducks every day disappearing!
"Bliss and beauty," he muttered as he felt the effect.
Looking over to the band again, he saw they already helped their spinning companions to stand up - after a moment, they bowed to the cultivators before leaving, not even waiting for all cultivators to leave their reverie.
"The Three Lights Performance is as beautiful as always," Co Fei exclaimed after waking up, glancing over to the three cultivators who all had a subtle feeling of having become slightly better looking!
"Fellow daoists know this performance?" Fengyu asked, wanting to know more.
"Haha, in the gathering, there will always be a performance. This group has indeed performed once before, but this time the effect is even stronger!" Co Fei said as she looked at the receding backs of the female cultivators.
"What is the effect?" Ling asked tentatively.
"They are two effects - calming the mind and beautifying the skin! This is the unique ability of the performers creation arts! They can spread various blessings onto cultivators, a special path that each larger force tries to gain at every cost!" she said, her eyes gleaming with desire.
Fengyu nodded when he heard this, for he had read into creation arts a lot and knew that there were indeed such a creation arts path that includes singers, dancers and other performers. Their ability might seem negligible, but looking around, Fengyu actually saw several cultivators close their eyes in a comfortable manner.
The effect of calming the mind was rare and allowed many cultivators who had been stressed for the impending Beast Tide to calm down their minds, allowing them to think through everything without being distracted!
He, too, enjoyed this moment of calmness together with other cultivators.
Moments passed as the purple light disappeared from the room, everything returning to normal.
Cultivators started their chatter, talking to each other without casting sound proofing spell, instantly creating a bustling scene.
Fengyu smiled at this, knowing this was the intention of the gathering - allowing everyone to see and hear each other, creating a sense of community rather than isolation!
He followed this and started chatting with Ming and Ling, "You two, did you like the performance? I heard there’s a large theatre in the northern part that has various performances every day, and around it, there are many pavilions offering their own special dances!"
"Senior brother, this was truly beautiful, I still feel like it hasn’t ended!" Ling couldn’t help but look at the empty platform.
