My Milf Conqueror System

Chapter 258: The Buyout

The meeting took place in a private, soundproofed conference room at the Jade Palace casino.

The air in the room was cool. It smelled like polished wood, leather chairs, and the faint trace of cigarette smoke that had been scrubbed out of the walls. The lights were low. They came from a long crystal fixture above the table. The light was warm and yellow. It made the surface of the mahogany table shine.

I sat at the head of a long mahogany table, wearing a sharp, tailored suit. The fabric was smooth against my skin. The jacket pulled slightly across my shoulders. The cuff of my shirt was crisp.

Vivian Chau, the casino manager and our primary laundering asset, sat to my right, projecting an aura of legitimate corporate wealth. Her perfume was subtle. Floral and clean. She smelled expensive. The leather portfolio in front of her made a soft sound when she set it down.

Sitting across from us were five men. They were the owners of the largest textile and manufacturing plants in the northern industrial district. They looked exhausted. Their faces were lined with stress. There were dark circles under their eyes. Their shirts were wrinkled. They were businessmen, not gangsters, and they were currently caught in the crossfire of a dying syndicate.

One of them kept rubbing his thumb against the edge of the table. Another one had his hands clasped too tight.

"Gentlemen," I began, keeping my voice calm and professional. The words echoed slightly in the soundproofed room. "I appreciate you taking the time to meet with me on such short notice. I know the situation in your district is currently... volatile."

The room was quiet except for the low hum of the air conditioning.

The oldest of the group, a man named Mr. Leung, let out a bitter scoff. The sound was rough. "Volatile is an understatement, Mr. Reed. Han's enforcers came to my factory this morning. They demanded a three-month advance on our protection quotas, payable in cash by midnight. They threatened to smash the manufacturing equipment if we refused."

His voice was tired. He said it like he had said it ten times already today.

"They made the same demands to all of us," another owner added, his hands trembling slightly. He set them on the table to hide it. "We don't have that kind of liquid capital. The margins in manufacturing are razor-thin right now. If we pay Han, we bankrupt our businesses. If we don't pay, he burns us down."

The words hung in the air. The AC blew cold over the back of my neck.

"Han is desperate," I said, leaning forward slightly. The chair made a soft sound. "His offshore accounts have been frozen by international authorities. He has no money to pay his men. He's trying to bleed you dry to fund his escape."

The factory owners exchanged nervous glances. Their eyes moved between each other. They had suspected Han was in trouble, but hearing it confirmed by the Golden Koi's Head of Security made it terrifyingly real. The air got heavier.

"If he has nothing to lose, he will destroy our factories," Mr. Leung said, his voice heavy with defeat. He looked down at his hands. "We have no choice but to try and scrape the money together."

"You have another choice," I corrected.

I gestured to Vivian. She opened the leather portfolio. The leather made a soft _sigh_. She slid five thick, legally binding contracts across the table, one for each of the owners. The paper made a sound as it moved across the polished wood. _Shhh_.

"The Golden Koi is prepared to offer you a comprehensive security and logistics partnership," I explained. My voice stayed even. "We will assume all of your outstanding debts. We will provide a dedicated, professional security detail for your factories, ensuring that not a single piece of equipment is touched. In exchange, you pay your monthly quotas to the Golden Koi, at a rate twenty percent lower than what Han was charging you."

The men stared at the contracts. The paper was thick. The ink was black. It was a lifeline thrown to drowning men. No one reached for a pen yet.

"You would protect us from the Jade Tigers?" Mr. Leung asked, looking up at me with wide eyes. "Han has two hundred men."

"Han has two hundred unpaid, demoralized men who are currently watching their syndicate collapse," I corrected. My voice was steady. "If you sign those contracts, you are officially under the protection of the Golden Koi. If Han's enforcers show up at your factories tonight, they won't find terrified workers. They'll find my security teams."

I leaned back in my chair. The leather made a soft sound. I let the weight of the offer settle over the room. The only sound was the AC and someone's breathing.

"But I need more than just your signatures," I added, my voice dropping to a harder, more authoritative register. The temperature in the room felt like it dropped a degree. "I need you to mobilize your workers. I want the industrial sector to go on strike. Shut down the factories, block the access roads with your delivery trucks, and refuse to let Han's men onto the properties. Show them that the district no longer belongs to the Jade Tigers."

The factory owners looked at each other. Their eyes were wide. It was a massive risk. I could see it in the way their jaws were tight. But the alternative was total bankruptcy. The room was still.

Mr. Leung reached into his jacket. The fabric rustled. He pulled out a fountain pen. It was heavy and silver. He clicked it once. _Click_.

He signed his name at the bottom of the contract. The pen made a scratching sound on the paper.

The other four men quickly followed suit. Pens clicked. Paper scratched. One by one they pushed the contracts back across the table.

"The industrial sector is yours, Mr. Reed," Leung said, sliding the contract back across the table. His hand was shaking slightly.

I looked at the signed pages. The ink was still wet.

"No," I said, offering a faint, predatory smile. The corners of my mouth barely moved. "It belongs to the Matriarch."

Vivian picked up the contracts. The paper made a soft sound. The meeting was over.
