Apocalypse Landlord: My Tenants Are All Beautiful Heroines.

Chapter 104: Mommy?

Aiden opened his eyes just to see Carmila staring back at him. She had her elbow propped on the cushion and her chin resting on her palm.

He squinted, rubbed his eyes, and then looked back at her again. As if he thought yesterday was a dream, he reached out and pulled her cheeks.

"Feels real enough..." he said.

Carmila sighed and rolled her eyes, letting Aiden pull for a couple of seconds before playfully biting his hand.

"That’s how you’re supposed to check if you’re dreaming or not," she whispered, licking her lips.

"Just wanted to double check... ow!"

Aiden’s back made a popping sound as soon as he sat up. He reached back and pressed his hand against it as if trying to pop a bone back into place, an old habit he had developed after becoming a skeleton.

Unfortunately, the pain wasn’t because something was out of place, but because he was sleeping out of place. He didn’t fall asleep on the bed, but on a pair of cushions. Naturally, his back was screaming in pain.

He put one hand on the floor and pushed himself upright. His sore back would heal on its own later, but it was morning, and he had to get to work. But before that, he forgot something.

"...Amaela’s clothes won’t fit you, would they?" he asked.

"What do you think, boya?" she replied, playfully making her extraordinarily big tits bounce.

He had seen them countless times before, but every time he did, only one thought remained on his mind.

It’s a good thing she’s a vampire. Otherwise, the weight of those bigger-than-head mounds would definitely end up with a hunched back.

[You could buy some clothes from the shop, Host.]

Yeah, let’s do that.

As soon as he said that, a clothing set called [Aristocrat’s Ensemble] appeared before him. It was a large white dress that looked more like a gown, paired with black gloves and a feathered black hat.

Aiden didn’t realize what it was and just handed it to Carmila. It wasn’t until she got dressed that he realized what exactly it was.

"...it looks familiar."

[I stored the finest garments according to your preference in women, Host.]

"Well?" she asked, giving him a twirl. "Do you find it satisfactory, boya?"

"Moderately," Aiden replied.

[Host, your heart rate has increased by—]

Shut up.

[Shutting up.]

The system’s analysis was correct. It would have been difficult not to react when Carmila was essentially cosplaying one of his video game crushes.

After getting dressed, the two left the floor. Thankfully, the floor was empty in the morning, as any brothel would be.

"Hmph, it’s like a cellar built upon a cellar," Carmila commented as they moved through the narrow halls. "This residence is inferior to our castles."

"At the rate things from Otherworld are appearing on Earth, it’s only a matter of time before those castles appear here too," Aiden smiled. "I’ll capture as many castles for you as you like then."

"I’ll hold you on to it," she smiled.

"Hopefully, you’ll find this place more acceptable—" he said, opening the door to his unit.

No sooner had he said that than three figures launched at him. Karina was the first to tackle him. Before Aiden could process what was happening, he found his face buried between her breasts as she clung to him.

Alisha, on the other hand, had wrapped her arms around his torso and squeezed so tightly that his back fixed itself. Then there was the little gremlin clinging to his leg.

"Hmph! Hmph!"

Aiden’s muffled voice came from the deep cervices of Karina’s grand canyon of a cleavage, and only then did she reluctantly let him go.

"Oh, sorry..." Karina mumbled, scratching her chin.

Aiden peeled Karina’s arms back first, creating enough space to breathe, then looked down at Alisha until she loosened her grip on his torso. Finally, his eyes fell on Lily, but unlike the others, she had enough courage not to let him go.

Her arms remained wrapped around his calf as her shoulders kept trembling. Aiden’s expression did a complete one-eighty. Pushing everyone aside, he picked Lily up in his arms.

The usually chirpy Lily was silently sobbing. As soon as Aiden lifted her, she buried her face in his shoulders, soaking his shirt with her tears.

Aiden immediately saw red. While supporting her with one hand, he used the other to wipe away her tears.

"Hey, little one," he whispered, pinching her chubby cheeks. "What’s wrong? Did mom do something, or was it big sis Karina?"

The two women on his side were baffled. He was the reason she was crying, yet Aiden pushed the blame onto them!?

Lily looked up at him with red-rimmed eyes, and her bottom lip still kept quivering as she spoke.

"Lily was scared... where were you?"

As soon as she said those words, both Karina and Alisha crossed their arms, staring at him, clearly waiting for him to apologize. But before he could, Lily said something else.

"Lily’s papa went away and didn’t come back," she said. "Lily doesn’t want big bro to disappear, too!"

[I bet you forgot about that, uh, Host?]

Aiden didn’t retort because he had expected Lily to notice it, though he didn’t expect her to notice it in less than a day. James might have been an opportunistic father, but Lily was oblivious to that.

"How can I ever leave you?" Aiden chuckled, putting Lily down. "If I do, how will I get these for you?"

Aiden acted like he was fetching something from his pocket and bought some sweets to distract the little one.

"Gummies!"

Lily jumped, grabbing the gummies with her little hands before running towards the couch.

"Isn’t she a cutie? " Carmila mumbled, walking inside. "Makes you want to gobble her up."

Karina and Alisha were both taken aback after seeing a stranger enter the unit. It wasn’t just her presence, but also what she was wearing that surprised them.

"Aiden... who is she?" the two asked simultaneously.

"My m—"

"Mommy."

Before Aiden could say mentor, Carmila chimed in with her own words. Just like that, the two women were stunned into silence.
