Chapter 227. One Month later
The time for the tournament finally arrived and for this, Jin used a lot of manpower. Thanks to the rapid growth of the Pagoda of Hope, he was able to focus on his cultivation after giving orders. Before the tournament time arrived, the elders also started to awake.
They all gained something and they all needed just time to enter into the emperor realm. Jin didn’t care about the tournament since his future plans needed strength from them the most. He immediately told elder Surpy and elder bull to enter seclusion.
The two elders happily accepted and went to the fourth floor of the Pagoda of Hope.
Now there were only seven elders since Jin secluded the Fate couple. But Jin was not worried because there are many void realm experts who will soon enter the king realm. During this time, Jin also sparred with Nox many times and he felt something was off but he couldn’t tell.
Aion was once again focused on his cultivation and no one saw him after his breakthrough.
The tournament will begin from today and there are many guests that are going to arrive. Jin was preparing for them. He needed to do a lot as he was the pagoda master of Pagoda of Hope. He looked around him and checked the preparations. He was satisfied and then he turned and looked at the teleportation platforms.
Since many from outside are coming, the teleportation platform is the main necessity for that. He checked other things also and Aion also appeared behind him at some point of time and he seemed bored. He looked at Jin and spoke,
"Honey, let’s go and take a seat on the pagoda master seat."
Jin rolled his eyes and spoke,
"You just need a chance to sit beside me."
Aion merely smiled and didn’t speak more. Jin also decided to wait for everyone. Now all they need is to wait. As Jin and Aion arrived at the pagoda master seat, they both looked down and everything seemed fine. Nox was not with them.
After some discussions, Nox has decided to participate in the battle of the void realm and thus, he was not present. Jin also wanted to but as the pagoda master of Pagoda of Hope, he couldn’t do that. Just as they took their positions, the space not far from them fluctuated slightly and an emperor seal appeared.
Seeing this seal, Jin remained calm and even Aion didn’t seem to care. Along with the seal, some people appeared in front of everyone. In then, Jin recognised two. They were the kids from the Ancient Gale Clan he met in the auction.
There were more than fifteen individuals present and the one leading them was a middle-aged man with a robust body. He has a handsome appearance with a calm expression and everything around him was peaceful. The aura he radiated was emperor realm.
He was none other than the current clan head of the Ancient Gale Clan. Harrison Gale. Jin stood up from his seat and he smiled. He looked at the clan head of the gale family who bought his family members. Harrison smiled when he saw Jin and he appeared in front of him and the others landed not far from him.
Harrison was the first to speak, "Finally we got to meet with each other. I still have to thank you for helping Elder Goren. Elder Goren was really someone whom even I admired in my younger days."
Jin merely shook his head and spoke,
"Elder Goren is someone who devoted himself to the Pagoda of Hope and it was his own efforts that helped him ascend to the emperor realm."
Hearing this, Harrison admired the youth even more in his heart. But then he glanced at Aion from the corner of his eyes and his heart trembled when he saw that Aion was also looking at him and Harrison felt as if someone terrifying was looking at him.
He calmed himself and then looked at the members of Gale Clan behind him and took his lead with them to their own place. They are already familiar with the arrangements. After entering in the room, he glanced at his son and spoke,
"He is younger than you. I can sense that and his cultivation is already in the void realm."
Hearing this, Finn was stunned and he gripped his spear tightly. He already made a lot of progress after getting this spear from the auction and he was confident that he can defeat even someone at the peak of the lord realm.
Though he knew that the pagoda master was younger, he never expected that the youth who became pagoda master was even younger than him. Just as they were chatting, another seal appeared in the sky and Jin looked at the seal.
The one appearing now might be the Kui family. Along with the seal, an old man appeared. He was giving the aura of death but it was because he was more than two thousand years old. From what Jin learnt from Kui Shu, the one coming might be someone who was even older than the previous family head.
Jin realized that the so-called king realm city has a lot of hidden secrets. When the old man appeared, he didn’t wait for his juniors. He glanced at Jin and nodded. With that, he disappeared to his own residing place.
Jin also nodded at the emperor and looked at them. He sighed and looked at Aion who remained silent all the time. He asked, "What are you thinking?"
Aion shook his head and spoke,
"Why is it that the strange creatures are not making a move today? And the organization who attacked you after you came to Borin city. Will they be present here?"
Jin was slightly stunned when he heard that but then he smiled and shook his head. He spoke,
"We must care about such things. You know that I am going to raise a force that belongs to me. This Ancient Forest realm is the best choice for that."
Aion nodded. He also knew what was going through Jin’s mind and he didn’t care for that. He would be the one to protect Jin anyway. Just then, space beside them twisted and Nox appeared in front of them. He looked at Jin and smiled. Then he looked at Aion and ignored him.
Jin also smiled but Aion became gloomy. Jin can’t sense but how can someone like him fail to sense the increased cultivation of Nox. Though he didn’t know how, he could guess that it might be related to the disc.
