Chapter 89. Nox Vane
Jin teardrops fell and his years of suppressing emotions cracked once again.
Aion stepped forward and hugged him. He comforted him,
"Honey, you promised me that you are going to be with me all the time. You should have told me if you felt that."
Jin cried more. He pinched Aion’s chest and said,
"Whose fault is that?
You are not telling me anything. I don’t know anything about me.
I can’t find who I am.
My grandfather is a powerhouse and beside that I know nothing about him.
He doesn’t know about his own child.
My adopted parents love me but after leaving them I felt stupid.
You love me but I can’t let that become a burden for my future rest..."
Before Jin could finish the responsibility word, Aion’s lips crashed against his.
Jin became silent. His emotions calmed down.
What none of them noticed was a black egg woven with golden threads and it vibrated slightly when it felt the emotions Jin showed.
Yin Ancestor also noticed the movement of the egg. She looked at the egg and she felt pain. She was just a past soul body that can’t stay for too long.
She smiled slightly and looked at Jin. She thought,
’Little guy, I am a mother and my child’s happiness is important for me.
But I am also giving you another lover if fate decides that.
It will depend on you, whether you will be able to handle that or not. But I believe that it might not be too difficult for you.’
After half an hour, Jin calmed down.
He once again punched Aion on his chest.
Aion merely smiled at Jin because he has calmed down from his emotions and it will only get better in the future.
Finally, Yin Ancestor spoke at this moment,
"Little guy, have you decided now?"
Jin looked at the transparent body of the senior and nodded.
He said,
"Senior, I will follow what you want me to do but you did not answer my second question?
They were waiting outside and attacked us the moment we left this planet.
Not only that, what if there was a being in a divine realm present among them."
Hearing this, the woman became silent for a moment and said,
"My husband and I have long prepared for that but you have to make that progress complete.
You already have one part that belongs to my husband. You need to go and have another which belongs to me.
You don’t have to worry about a divine being appearing. Unless they want to suffer from the backlash of the universe, they won’t attack any Galaxy
Or unless they have a Supreme treasure that will protect them from the universe backlash."
Jin sighed in relief but then he asked,
"What kind of backlash are you talking about, senior?"
But Yin Ancestor said nothing related to this. She only said,
"You will find yourself in the future. Now your only task is to protect yourself and cultivate so that no one can control you.
Let’s not waste any more time. Because I don’t have much time left now."
Jin also nodded and Yin Ancestor led him to the place where the egg was present.
Jin looked at the egg and he was amazed by the egg. It was made of scales but those scales were black with lustre in them. There were golden threads wrapping around the egg.
It radiated an aura of gentleness and warmth.
Jin moved near the egg subconsciously. Yin Ancestor smiled when she saw this.
But Jin paused at the last moment.
He asked,
"What kind of contract do you want?"
He asked for the egg.
Hearing this the egg trembled slightly and Yin Ancestor was surprised. She finally revealed a smile that matched her peerless face.
She said,
"Let me do that for you.
I want you both to be in the contract of eternity.
In your human world, they only tell you one contract which is beneficial to you guys but in reality, there are many contracts.
What I am establishing is a contract that connects your life and injuries with each other.
This is the contract of eternity."
Jin was surprised but Aion’s face turned completely black.
Yin Ancestor said,
"Let me make a pact for both of you and then you should let him hatch in the spiritual palace. This will help him mask his aura completely and then he can stay outside without any issues, as long as those dragons are not around him."
Jin nodded.
Yin Ancestor chanted something and a pact formed between Jin and the egg.
She said gently,
"Give me a drop of your blood essence."
Jin did everything she was told and then the blood essence was injected into the pact.
The pact became life-like and then it entered the egg. Then the egg started vibrating.
Yin ancestor said,
"Now take him inside the spiritual palace."
Jin nodded and the egg disappeared. Aion also disappeared.
In the sea of consciousness,
Aion transformed into a snake and looked at the second spiritual palace. The palace was now covered with an aura of lightning and yin-yang.
The yin-yang are not different entities, instead they are merged in a perfect harmony which is difficult to achieve.
In the centre of the spiritual palace, the egg slowly cracked and from the crack, a claw appeared. Soon the entire being appeared.
it was entirely black with golden scales in a few places. It has five claws on it.
The most noticeable feature was the dragon wings that appeared behind it. They were composed of four pairs of butterfly and dragon wings as one.
The one that emerged was a dragon with a body like a snake and wings like a butterfly.
This is the dragon that Jin sighed as a contract as his second spiritual beast.
Jin looked at the beast and he was amazed.
But soon he seemed to sense something, so he released the dragon to the outside world.
In the outside world, Yin Ancestor has started to fade but she has a smile on her face.
Suddenly, she looked at the things that appeared in front of her and her eyes widened slightly.
She smiled and said softly,
"My child."
The little dragon cub that appeared was none other than the one that Jin signed a contract with.
After him, Aion also appeared and Jin also opened his eyes.
The dragon cub spoke in a soft voice,
"Mother"
And his eyes became teary. Yin Ancestor smiled and said,
"No. You promised me that you won’t cry. You have to become stronger in the future and then decide the fate however you want.
Only strength is the thing that matters in this world."
The dragon cub nodded slowly.
Yin Ancestor called Jin and said,
"His name is Nox. Nox Vane."
Jin nodded slowly but then he asked,
"Senior, what is your and dragon senior’s name?"
She merely smiled and said,
"Silly child. My husband and I are already past. The future is what you write, why drop our names on that.
As for the future things, let me give you one last help with those disgusting dragons.
There is a stone that is in your ring. This is the first thing that I told you. This is actually a scale of mine which has the divine blood essence of both of us.
You have to find another scale in the skull area which is the scale of my husband. We have left out a battle imprint in that.
You can use that and fend them off with that."
Yin Ancestor slowly started to fade. She looked at Nox and smiled. She said in his mind,
"Child, I have tied your fate with that child. Don’t blame mother for that.
He was suffering the same as you but he is in an even worse situation than you.
Please be there with him at every step just like that Emperor of Time.
And be careful of that guy, he is even older than both of us.
We were not even born when he dominated the Time Laws."
The dragon cub nodded.
Seeing this, Yin Ancestor smiled and looked at Jin and said the last thing,
"Nox knows a lot of things, he will help you.
And I have left one last opportunity for you in the deeper region of this nest."
Saying this, she hugged the little dragon and a mother embraced her child for her last breath.
She gently touched her lips on Nox’s forehead and she disappeared from this world.
In this world, there was no Yin Ancestor anymore.
The moment she disappeared, Brown’s statue outside also disappeared.
The nest also started to disintegrate slowly.
Jin’s eyes teared up seeing this scene.
At this moment, a faint memory triggered inside his head.
He hissed and cried hard.
Aion quickly embraced him and said,
"Honey, I will always be there for you. No need to lose yourself."
Jin nodded slightly and hugged Aion hardly.
Nox sat on the ground for some time.
Despite his mother’s words, he couldn’t stop himself from tearing up.
After sometime, he raised his head and said coldly,
"I’ll make sure that those dragon bastards pay for their actions."
After calming his emotions, he looked at Jin with complicated emotions in his eyes.
Although he was born from an egg, he was a lot better than Jin. How could he not understand the meaning behind his mother’s action?
He sighed and calmed his emotions. After that he came to gym and said softly,
"Let’s go and break through to the Soul Born Realm."
