Chapter 84. Yin Squirrel
Jin continued to run in the direction where he sensed the dense energy and he was right.
The more he moved in that direction, the more the energy became dense but unlike the universal spiritual energy which is raw, impure and unrefined, this one is pure.
This is pure but it is still only pure to two energies. Although Jin didn’t know, he thought that these energies must be related to the two gods.
And Aion confirmed his doubts when he said,
"The direction you are hedging must be the heart area?"
Jin was confused and asked,
"How do you know that?"
Aion patiently explained,
"The heart is the blood refining organ for the body and you might have not noticed but I can.
The little beasts that we are ignoring have powerful bloodlines in them.
If it was the direction of the head then there should have been some illusion or mind type domain or field that affects the mentality."
Jin nodded and then he paused and carefully walked while sensing the small beings around him.
There were rabbits, mini birds, cows and many more.
Suddenly Aion’s voice sounded in his mind,
"Be careful. Powerful beasts are ahead but they are not hostile towards us. If you don’t provoke them then you might be able to pass by them silently."
Jin nodded and followed silently on the path that he decided.
Finally, he saw a huge python hanging on a giant tree. It looked at Jin and hissed slightly but Jin didn’t do anything. He just looked at the python once and left.
Similarly, Jin encountered other strong beasts who can threaten him and Aion but they didn’t make a move against him and let him pass easily.
Jin easily passed the area and he found a location that was comfortable and sat down. His energy is depleted and he needs to rest for some time.
He closed his eyes and the Devouring Crystal Core started operating at a slow speed. The surrounding energy was being absorbed by him and he refined that energy into his own using the devouring that he owned from his grandpa.
In the past year, he met his grandpa once who imparted to him some of the techniques which he said that created for him while even as a human.
His grandpa also gave him a body art that he never saw but he didn’t use that art at all.
Jin recovered very quickly and started looking for some resources but then he noticed a squirrel near him.
He was shocked because the squirrel was injured beyond what Jin could describe. The little squirrel was twitching so much.
Jin looked at this and he didn’t wait at all. He came forward and picked that squirrel in his hands and said,
"Little one, why are you so injured?
In this place, I have seen that beasts are attacking each other and many are just sleeping and improving themselves."
The little squirrel slowly opened its eyes and then looked at Jin with a pleading look.
Jin was immediately attracted and he waved his hands and a potion appeared in his hands.
Aion was already a rank 4 Alchemist and he prepared many potions for unexpected situations.
These potions are different from the one he shows to the outside world.
They contained the aura of divinity in them.
The little squirrel opened its mouth and swallowed the potion.
Then its eyes widened in surprise and it looked at Jin.
The squirrel’s wounds started to heal at a rapid speed.
It jumped in delight and looked at Jin with shining stars in its eyes.
Jin laughed and picked the squirrel. He said,
"Do you want to eat something?"
The squirrel nodded quickly. Jin then took out food that Aion prepared for him and placed it in front of the little squirrel.
The squirrel looked at the food and its eyes lit up.
It started digging the food. Jin watched with a smile.
Aion in the spiritual palace became unhappy and he said,
"Honey, why are you feeding that little thing? You are even using your hubby hard work on that little thing.
It seems that you do not love me anymore.
Why did you not feed me?"
Aion was rambling nonsense but Jin simply ignored him.
He was already trying his best to suppress his laugh in front of this little squirrel.
After the squirrel ate to its full capacity, it communicated with Jin using the soul connection.
Soul connection is the way that most people with different communications use it as a medium.
Because the soul is a pure form.
"Thank you."
Jin was surprised and then he thought that it might be because of this world that this little squirrel possesses intelligence and communication. After all, all the other beasts are also not fighting. They were just looking and then closing their eyes once again.
Jin shook his head and said,
"You are also a living organism under this universe and you have every right to live."
There was a surprise deep inside the eyes of the squirrel that Jin didn’t notice but Aion in the spiritual palace did.
The squirrel then said,
"I am a Yin Squirrel. As a thank you for saving me, I want to give you something in return."
Jin listened. He was surprised a little but then he shook his head and said,
"There is no need for that. It was faith that you and I met each other.
So, there is no need for you to give me any compensation in return."
But the little squirrel shook its head and said,
"This is necessary because this is what our masters taught us.
All though they have sacrificed themselves but they still made this place suitable for us to live and separate us from the outside world.
Although I may look small, I am much more ordered than you think.
Follow me."
Saying this the squirrel moved in the deeper direction where Jin was going.
Jin hesitated for a moment before nodding and following begging the squirrel.
As they were going, the little squirrel said,
"Our masters call all of us as their love projection. Although we do not know the meaning of these words, we are still happy that we can make our masters happy.
I was injured by a human who looked same as you but he was a ruthless human and my masters hate these types of people the most.
I need you to protect our master from them. Although we can fight back but according to the rules that master’s asset, we cannot fight here at all and an outsider must be defeated by another outsider."
Jin nodded in understanding. After all they are all beings created by the gods and they might not want this kind of environment for their creation.
Jin did not dwell on these matters. He just followed the Yin Squirrel silently and Aion in his mind was also very cautious and he was observing every action of this little squirrel.
Soon they reached near a large tree. Jin saw the massive tree and he became shocked.
He has never seen this large tree and then the little squirrel said,
"Inside this is the highest number of resources that I have gathered from all my past years.
You can choose any one from them. But since you have no knowledge of them, you might not know their uses.
Let me be your guide for that."
After saying this the little squirrel quickly climbed the tree and Jin hesitated for a moment before following behind the little squirrel silently.
Soon they entered a vast space from a crack somewhere in the tree.
After entering here, Jin was once again surprised by the sheer number of heaven and earth resources that were lying in the vast space. Jin felt that his eyes were playing tricks with him.
Just then, the little squirrel said,
"These are all the things that I have."
Jin nodded and looked at all the resources. He asked,
"How do you know that there are invaders?"
The little squirrel wore a surprised expression on its face but then it explained,
"Because this is the function of the laws that master comprehended. We all are living in that law and we were able to sense it immediately when there is another law fluctuation on this place."
Jin nodded in understanding. While he was scanning the heaven and earth resources, he looked at the things that can be eaten. He noticed quite a few and then he pointed at one specific fruit which is black-gold and asked,
"What is that fruit?"
The little squirrel looked in the direction where Jin pointed and explained,
"This is one of the rare treasures in this world. This is Darkness Yang Fruit. Darkness is a Yin element but this fruit follows the opposite path.
The darkness is leaning towards the Yang energy and it is in a perfect harmony in that fruit.
After eating is you can refine the energy inside it and use for your own or you can comprehend the laws of Darkness and Yang from the fruit itself."
Jin nodded. Aion was a little surprised.
Then Jin looked at another direction. He felt a little attractive in that place. He went there and looked at a grass. This grass was pitch black and it doesn’t carry the aura of Yang at all.
He looked at the Yin Squirrel and asked,
"What is this grass called?"
The squirrel looked at the grass and its expression changed.
