Violent, golden-black lightning erupted from Caelus, as his frame began glitching. The air grew heavy with static as Caelus’s white hair stood on end.

Caelus blurred into a streak of pure electricity, smoothly sidestepping Fedrick’s massive claws. The heavy swipe tore through the empty air, generating a localized shockwave that flattened the surrounding grass.

"Grrrr! You sneaky rat!" Fedrick roared, quickly regaining his footing. The female wolf’s buff was actively knitting his scorched flesh back together.

The wolf’s jaws unhinged, glowing with a terrifying, ghostly purple light.

The wolf had disappeared; he was extremely fast, to the point that not even his shadow could be seen.

But Caelus was faster.

Caelus’s body glitched out of reality just a millisecond before massive, ethereal jaws clamped down on the exact spot his head had been. The sheer force of the bite cleanly snapped the fabric of the air itself, sending a gust of wind past Caelus’s face.

"Not a bad aspect." Caelus smiled gleefully seeing this. "Now it’s my turn."

Boundless lightning erupted from Caelus as it charged through the air. He activated his eyes, stunning the wolf in place as the lightning crashed onto it.

Fedrick howled in sheer agony, wildly thrashing his massive body. "I’ll tear you to shreds!" He whipped around, unleashing a flurry of crazed, hyper-fast claw swipes that forced Caelus on the defensive.

Clang! Clang! Boom!

Caelus expertly parried the heavy blows with his dagger, utilizing his C-Rank Dexterity to weave through the lethal barrage. The physical impact sent shockwaves through Caelus’s arms, but Sylvia’s Life Steal blessing continuously restored his minor HP losses with every successful counter-slash he landed.

"Sylvia, lock down the healer!" Caelus shouted over the booming clashes.

"Leave it to me!" Sylvia giggled softly, her eyes glowing a menacing ruby red. She flicked her wrist gracefully towards the female wolf.

The Progenitor Sword appeared in her hand, having already merged with the Blood Moon Sword. She jumped towards the female wolf with blood erupting from her. Unknowingly, an expressionless smile formed on Sylvia’s face as she plunged her sword down on the weaker wolf. The female wolf was significantly weaker than Sylvia.

Sylvia plunged the sword through her chest with no remorse.

The female wolf wailed in pain, but Sylvia didn’t stop there. She just kept stabbing her, blood violently splashing out as the wolf became a gory mess.

Sylvia’s expression slightly changed as she turned around towards Caelus and the male wolf, who were going at each other with immense speed.

"No! My mate!" Fedrick roared, his focus slipping for a crucial microsecond.

"Never take your eyes off the enemy, dog!" Caelus yelled.

Caelus slammed his hands together with explosive force. A deafening, concussive wave of sonic pressure blasted point-blank into Fedrick’s face, heavily stunning the beast and violently interrupting his movement.

With the wolf completely paralyzed, Caelus gathered all the ambient golden-black lightning from his domain directly into his fingertips. The dense electricity compressed into a blinding, volatile sphere of pure destruction.

The condensed lightning fired with immense, blinding speed, physically tearing through the air and blasting straight through Fedrick’s skull. The sheer voltage wreaked absolute havoc on his internal organs, instantly vaporizing his brain.

The giant wolf’s body went completely rigid before collapsing heavily into the ruined dirt, entirely devoid of life.

"I am sorry, but this is kill or be killed," Caelus closed his eyes and spoke. Then, just as quickly, he swept the harvester title forward.
