[BL] The Mafia Boss Wants My Body

Chapter 362: The Walk Toward Forever

But you fought through every twist and turn life threw at you, and you made it here. I wish you both the absolute best life together."

Adrian buried his face against their shoulders for a moment, a knot of gratitude tightening in his chest. "Thank you so much," he whispered, pulling back to look at them with shining eyes. "I really appreciate both of you. Even when I was losing my mind, when things felt impossible, you two were my anchors. Thank you for never leaving my side."

They shared one final, heartfelt group hug before the professional glam team gently urged Adrian to take his seat. The stylists got to work immediately, styling his black hair into a sharp, flawless look and applying a subtle touch of makeup to define his features.

Meanwhile, 🎵Christina Perri’s "A Thousand Years" 🎵 played softly through the suite’s sound system, filling the room with a dreamy, romantic atmosphere as the hours ticked away.

Down the hall in Matteo’s suite, the energy was altogether different. Because Matteo required far less styling, his hair and grooming were finished in record time. He stood near the window in comfortable loungewear, watching the city below, when the door opened to reveal his twin brother, Mark, alongside Maxwell and Marissa.

Maxwell clapped a hand onto Matteo’s shoulder, shaking his head in disbelief. "So, bro... just like that? You’re actually getting married?" His voice suddenly became shaky as he rubbed at the corner of his eye, pretending to wipe away a tear. "I still can’t wrap my head around it. God, I’m crying right now."

Marissa immediately rolled her eyes. "Oh, please. Stop with your dramatic fake crying. It obviously looks fake."

Maxwell pressed a hand against his chest, looking deeply offended. "I’m seriously emotional right now, sis."

Matteo looked at the two of them and shook his head, unable to hold back a small laugh.

Mark stepped forward, his expression softening into a deep, affectionate smile as he pulled Matteo into a solid, grounding hug.

When he finally pulled back, his eyes were filled with pride.

"I’m so happy for you, Teo," he said quietly. "Not just because you’re getting married, but because of everything this day means. You’ve been through so much. There were times when I honestly wondered if you would ever find a life where you could be truly happy."

Matteo’s expression softened.

Mark squeezed his shoulder. "But you fought your way through all of it. You found your way back to yourself, and then you found Adrian. And now, look at you. You’re standing here about to marry the man you love. As your brother, I couldn’t be prouder of you."

Matteo swallowed, his eyes beginning to sting. "Thank you, bro."

Maxwell immediately stepped forward and pulled both brothers into a rough embrace. "Damn right. I’m proud of you too, man."

Matteo laughed softly as he hugged them back.

When they finally separated, Marissa walked toward him. She didn’t say anything at first. She simply wrapped her arms around his neck and held him tightly.

"Congratulations, bro," she whispered, her voice trembling. "I’m so happy for you."

Matteo closed his eyes for a moment, holding his sister close. "Thank you, Rissa."

She pulled back and looked at him, her eyes already shining with tears. "You deserve this, Matteo. You really do."

Matteo smiled, touched by the sincerity in her voice.

For a moment, the four of them simply stood there together, surrounded by the quiet excitement of the morning.

As the morning progressed, family members drifted in and out of the suites to offer their blessings. Adrian’s father and Maya both visited him, sharing tearful hugs and quiet words of pride.

Maya, especially, was overwhelmed with happiness. After everything her brother had been through, seeing him finally find love and reach this moment meant more to her than she could put into words.

To Adrian, Maya had always been more than just his sister. She had been a mother to him in every way that mattered. She had stayed by his side when he needed someone, never once leaving him to face everything alone.

Adrian was deeply grateful for her. He pulled her into a tight embrace, his eyes filling with tears as he whispered, "Thank you for never leaving me, Maya. Not even once. You were always there when I needed you."

Maya held him tightly, her own tears slipping down her cheeks. "You’re my little brother. I’ll always be here for you."

Across the room, their father watched them with tears streaming down his face. Seeing the bond between his children, and knowing how much Maya had done for Adrian over the years, left him overwhelmed with emotion.

On the other side, Matteo’s mother and father stopped by to check on him. His mother was especially happy to be there for such an important moment in her son’s life.

She spent a quiet moment with him, offering him the kind of advice only a mother could give before her son stepped into marriage. Matteo listened carefully, smiling as she reminded him to always cherish Adrian, be patient with him, and never take their love for granted.

His father also shared a few words with him, offering his own advice and reminding Matteo that marriage was about standing by each other through every season of life.

Matteo listened to them both, taking in every word. Having his parents there to guide him on the morning of his wedding meant more to him than he could put into words.

By mid-afternoon, the time finally came to suit up.

Everyone cleared out of the respective suites, leaving the grooms alone with their teams as they prepared to step into their magnificent, custom royal attire.

In his suite, Matteo slipped into his breathtaking wedding suit. He chose the commanding black ensemble, featuring sharp lapels edged with intricate crimson embroidery and a tailored waistcoat. The suit fit him perfectly, giving him the powerful, regal presence he had envisioned for his wedding day.

In the opposite suite, Adrian was carefully dressed in his pristine white masterpiece. He wore a tailored white suit with a high-standing collar and a glittering, pearlescent embellished front. The suit gave him the elegant, royal look he had always wanted for his wedding day.

Once they were dressed, the stylists made a few final adjustments, making sure every detail was perfect.

Outside, the grand ceremony area was ready, with the mirrored aisle, floral arrangements, and rows of white chairs already perfectly arranged for the ceremony. Hundreds of guests had taken their seats and were waiting.

Among them were wealthy business associates, politicians from Adrian’s father’s circle, high-profile figures, and the people closest to them—Charles, Frank, Maxwell, Marissa, Maya and her husband, along with the rest of their families and friends. Quiet conversations filled the air as everyone waited for the ceremony to begin.

Security was tight around the entire venue, with Matteo’s security team positioned throughout the property to ensure everything remained safe and undisturbed.

Inside the hotel, Matteo stood ready with Mark proudly beside him as his best man, holding the velvet-lined box containing their platinum wedding bands.

Then the doors opened.

Matteo stepped out first and began walking toward the altar, dressed in his commanding black wedding suit. The string quartet began playing a soft, sweeping rendition of 🎵A Thousand Years 🎵 as he made his way down the mirrored aisle.

When Matteo reached the altar, he turned and looked back toward the entrance.

His heart was already racing.

He was waiting for Adrian, the only man who had ever truly captured his heart and claimed every single piece of his soul.

Suddenly, the soft music faded, replaced by the haunting, ethereal opening notes of 🎵Saturn by Sleeping At Last.🎵

The beautiful swell of the strings rippled through the garden terrace. Instantly, a collective gasp moved through the seated crowd. Heads turned toward the grand arched entrance at the far end of the long, floral-lined aisle. Several guests even rose from their seats, unable to contain their excitement as they waited for the groom to appear.

Matteo’s breath caught. His chest tightened as his eyes remained fixed on the entrance, barely blinking.

Then, as the music swelled, Adrian appeared.

He looked like an absolute vision in pristine white. His custom high-collar suit gleamed beneath the soft lights, the glittering pearlescent embellishments catching the light like tiny stars. Behind him, his magnificent floor-length white cape flowed gracefully, its delicate floral beadwork and cascading crystal chains shimmering with every step. In one hand, he held a small, elegant bouquet of white roses.

Adrian rested his trembling hand in the crook of his father’s arm and took his first step down the aisle.

The moment Matteo saw him standing there in all his breathtaking beauty, the last of his legendary composure completely disappeared. Hot tears filled his eyes and spilled down his cheeks as he stared at the man who was about to become his husband.

Beside him, Mark quietly reached over and squeezed his shoulder.

"Hey... stop crying, man. Keep it together," he whispered.

But his own eyes were already shining with unshed tears.
