Chapter 79: I’m Coming Back to Claim You
Matteo traveled with his close associate, Harry, and two bodyguards, a small, efficient team for a short trip. Once they arrived, he made sure everything was in place before heading to his suite.
The first thing he did was check his phone.
Adrian’s messages were already waiting.
A chuckle slipped from his lips. He knew exactly why Adrian wanted Maxwell gone, and that possessive edge only made him more determined to keep things exactly as they were.
He typed back: Hey, babe. I just landed, I’m at the hotel now.
Adrian had been lying on his bed for hours, waiting for his reply. He responded instantly: How was the journey? Was it stressful?
"Not at all," Matteo replied. "It was a short, smooth flight."
He paused before adding, I saw your message about Maxwell. Are you really trying to get rid of my brother already? Can’t you handle having your brother-in-law around?
Adrian’s panic flared.
No, no, it’s not like that! It’s just... I feel like he has his own life to live, and staying here might be holding him back from doing what he wants.
If he’s bothering you, Matteo teased, I’ll tell him to pack his bags and leave immediately. If you’d rather be doing something else, I’ll handle it.
No! Adrian typed frantically. It’s not needed. Maxwell can stay. It’s fine.
Matteo smirked at the screen before typing:
Alright, babe. I’m going to take a shower now. I’ll text you when I’m done, I still need to eat. Maybe I’ll order room service after.
But Adrian didn’t want the moment to end.
He called him instead.
Matteo picked up immediately.
"I want to watch you," Adrian said, his voice low. "Turn on the video."
Matteo didn’t hesitate. "Fine, alright." He switched to a video call, propping his phone up in the bathroom.
Adrian watched, mesmerized, as Matteo stepped into the shower. Even through the steam and the glass, seeing Matteo in his element made Adrian’s breath hitch. He bit his lip, his body reacting with a fierce, burning hunger.
Every movement Matteo made, from the way he scrubbed his skin to the way he dressed himself afterward, felt like a private, intimate performance.
When Matteo finally sat down to order his food, he kept the camera pointed at himself, letting Adrian linger on the sight of him.
Adrian asked Matteo about his new work, wondering if he liked it better than his previous work.
"It’s going well so far. Honestly, it’s not bad, just a lot of meetings and traveling that take time and keep me away from you," Matteo said, his eyes fixed on the camera as he spoke about his work. "I’m looking into a few new ventures, but honestly... my mind is still back there, with you."
Adrian felt his pulse quicken. "I can’t wait to see you," he said.
Matteo’s expression darkened with intent, his voice dropping an octave. "If you saw me right now, what’s the first thing you’d do?"
Adrian let out a soft, nervous laugh. "I want to eat you up. Like, raw. I’m so hungry for you."
Matteo leaned closer to the lens, a slow, predatory smirk spreading across his face. "Why are you suddenly so hungry for me? Are you falling in love with me already?"
Adrian looked away, his cheeks heating up. "What do you think?"
"Alright," Matteo said softly. "I know you won’t admit it, but I know how you feel. I know you love me."
"Fine," Adrian said, his eyes snapping back to the screen. "When you’re back, you’re going to see exactly how much I care and how much I want you."
Matteo sighed, his voice heavy with longing. "I can’t wait. It’s only been a few weeks, but after everything between us... It feels like we’ve been apart for years."
"I’m already preparing myself for you," Adrian confessed. "I’m keeping myself for you, eating healthy, trying to make sure I can handle your stamina."
Matteo’s smile widened, a mix of pride and possessiveness in his expression. "Are you that obsessed with me now?"
"Why not?" Adrian replied, his gaze intense. "I want to eat you raw."
Matteo raised a brow. "Is that all you want from me?"
Adrian shook his head slightly. "No. There’s more... so much more. But for now... that’s what I crave the most."
Matteo chuckled, a low, rumbling sound. "Don’t worry, Rian. I’m going to serve you enough that you’ll be stuffed, and I promise you’ll be begging me to stop."
Adrian shook his head, his eyes darkening with defiance. "With the way I’m hungry for you? I don’t think I’m ever going to beg you to stop. I’m just going to keep asking for more."
Matteo groaned, shifting on the bed. "Don’t get me horny right now, baby."
Adrian’s eyes locked onto his, dark with intent. "I want you to be horny. That’s exactly what I want, I want to see you go crazy for me every time you look at me."
"I’m serious," Matteo said, his gaze intensifying. "I might fly back tonight and ditch all this work."
Adrian giggled. "Alright, alright, that’s enough of that for now."
They fell into a comfortable silence, the distance between them feeling almost nonexistent. Adrian stayed on the line, just watching him, his desire deepening with every passing second. The miles were supposed to be a burden, but with the video feed keeping them locked together, it felt like Matteo was closer than he had ever been.
After they had spent hours on the call, Matteo finally sighed. "Alright, I have to go now. I need to speak with Harry so we can finalize our plans for tomorrow. I want to wrap everything up as quickly as possible, I don’t want to stay here a second longer than I have to. I’m aiming to be back by Tuesday."
"Alright," Adrian said. "I’ll be waiting for you."
Matteo’s expression softened, his gaze lingering on Adrian’s face. "I love you," he said.
Adrian felt warmth rise to his cheeks, his voice softening into a shy murmur. "I know."
He hung up the call. On the other end, Matteo stared at the dark screen for a long moment, shaking his head with a fond, possessive smile. He knew exactly how much that "I know" meant, and he couldn’t wait to get home to claim the rest of it.
The day eventually faded into the night. Just as Adrian was beginning to drift off, his phone lit up.
A message from Matteo, rare, unexpected... and enough to pull him fully awake.
I’m lying here in this empty bed, and all I can think about is that you aren’t in it. I love you, Adrian. More than I ever thought I was capable of. I’m counting...
