Sorry, My Dear Friend, I’ve Already Become the Demon King’s Weapon

Chapter 24 : Chapter 24

Chapter 24. A Little Pony Would Die If It Went In

“You are not lying to me?”

“Of course not. If the Young Lady does not believe me, you may return and ask the Family Head. I guarantee the answer will be exactly the same.”

“Fine, fine,” Vivian waved her hand dismissively. Just mentioning that old fossil made her irritated.

Nobles looked down on the lowly commoners, while commoners despised the self-important nobles.

The division between the two was severe. Vivian’s disdainful attitude was perhaps largely because she had never truly seen the world outside.

A bird in a cage within the manor.

Just as Vivian was still curiously observing Black Street, her attention was suddenly caught by a shop ahead.

The signboard of that shop was extremely flamboyant.

[Victoria Style]

The glow of the sign was ambiguous and warm, illuminating several women standing at the entrance.

They were dressed brightly and posed alluringly. Their gazes were like fishing hooks—direct, yet never lacking willing fish to bite.

At the same time, a black car drove over from the distant intersection and stopped in front of the shop.

The car door opened.

A young man stepped out, dressed in a pure white suit, his hair slicked with oil.

The moment he saw the women at the entrance, the smile on his face became extremely… lecherous.

Under the escort of the bodyguards who exited behind him, he walked straight toward Victoria Style.

Soon afterward, a mature woman, dressed even more revealingly, walked out to greet him. She was clearly the manager or owner of the establishment.

“Oh my! Is that not Young Master Perry? You have come so early today~ The girls have not even finished preparing yet.”

“Enough nonsense,” the young man said in a crude tone as he twisted his neck and beckoned to his bodyguards. “Same as usual. Arrange a few of the youngest ones. I am in a very bad mood today.”

The bodyguard immediately took out a thick stack of banknotes and handed it over.

The woman’s smile instantly became far more unrestrained.

“No problem, no problem! We have just received a new batch recently. I guarantee Young Master Perry will be satisfied!”

After exchanging a few more words, the young man burst into loud laughter, wrapping his arm around the woman’s shoulder.

Then, under the personal guidance of the boss, he swaggered straight through the beaded curtain hanging at the entrance.

In the distance, Vivian narrowed her eyes slightly, as though confirming something in her mind.

“Isn’t that…”

“Young Lady knows him?” Eve stood beside her and naturally heard the muttered words. She followed Vivian’s gaze and saw the same scene.

“Of course I know him.” Vivian curled her lips in disdain as she looked forward. “That useless boy from the Perry family. The manor’s pile of rose bouquets owes quite a lot to him.”

She recalled how the maids often complained privately about the trouble of dealing with those piles of unwanted flowers.

And she remembered the foolishly eager look in his eyes every time he visited.

She let out a soft snort.

“How strange. Why would he appear in a place like this? And what kind of shop is that?”

Vivian’s gaze returned to the sign of Victoria Style and the women standing boldly at the entrance. Her curiosity had been hooked.

Recalling how skillfully Eve had dealt with the gang members earlier, Vivian turned her head and stared at Eve’s expressionless profile.

“You seem very familiar with this place, don’t you?”

“Replying to the Young Lady, only somewhat.”

“Are you sure?”

“I never lie.”

“Tch…”

Vivian increasingly felt that at least half of what Eve said was true and half false.

The problem was that it was impossible to tell which half was which.

Her curiosity eventually overwhelmed her dissatisfaction.

She tilted her chin toward Victoria Style.

“What does that shop do? It looks strange.”

Eve fell silent for a moment.

After several seconds, she finally responded with a tactful question.

“The Young Lady truly does not know?”

“Tch!” Vivian hated this kind of counter-question the most. It made her seem ignorant—even though she truly did not know.

She glared at Eve with irritation.

“Why so much nonsense? I ask, you answer!”

Eve sighed inwardly and chose her words carefully.

“That establishment offers experiences of authentic Victoria-style entertainment. In theory, it is suitable for… men and women of all ages.”

“Victoria?” Vivian’s eyes immediately lit up.

That famous northern entertainment city was also well known for its cuisine and tourism. She had heard of it many times but had never visited.

Now she had an opportunity.

Authentic Victoria-style experiences? That sounded like something she absolutely had to try.

“Come on. Take me to have a look.”

Vivian immediately stepped forward toward the shop. She wanted to see it for herself—and perhaps also see what that foolish boy from the Perry family was doing inside.

“Young Lady, please wait.”

Vivian stopped and turned around, frowning.

“What now?”

“You cannot go.”

“Why not? Are you the Young Lady, or am I the Young Lady? Do I need your permission to decide where I go?”

Eve tried very hard to suppress her laughter, hovering between maintaining composure and losing it entirely. She calmly faced Vivian’s faint anger.

“You are naturally the Young Lady. However, I assure you that this establishment is absolutely unsuitable for you to enter. This has nothing to do with status.”

An inexperienced little girl entering a place like that would be like a lamb walking straight into a den of wolves.

“Assure me?” Vivian almost laughed from anger. She placed her hands on her hips.

“How can you decide that it is unsuitable for me? I have not even gone inside yet!”

Then she suddenly thought of something.

“Even if it is unsuitable for me, do you think it is suitable for you?”

A clever question.

It placed Eve in an awkward position.

Logically speaking, a maid should not be suited for a place that looked so expensive either.

Eve fell silent.

However, logically speaking… she actually could enter.

But she had never been inside either.

And for the moment, she had no interest in doing so.

Eve’s gaze moved past Vivian and once again swept toward the entrance of Victoria Style.

At that moment, another drunken man was being half-pushed and half-laughed out by one of the women inside.

He muttered something unintelligible. Another woman at the entrance was struggling with a restless man who kept trying to place his hand around her waist. She was smiling, but impatience was visible in her eyes.

Eve withdrew her gaze and looked back at Vivian.

“Young Lady, look at the people entering and leaving that place.”

Vivian instinctively followed her gaze.

She saw a man roughly squeezing a woman’s chest while lingeringly breathing in her scent.

Almost immediately, Vivian felt her cheeks grow warm.

She had never seen such scenes before in her life.

Even the time she had stepped on someone’s face or boldly invited a tenant to view a property had already been the limit of her boldness.

These far more intimate physical interactions were still far too much for her.

“If the Young Lady is interested in such… indulgent displays of the body…”

“I am not!” Vivian hurriedly interrupted, her ears turning slightly red.

But Eve clearly had no intention of letting her escape so easily.

With a completely expressionless face, she continued calmly.

“If someone were to accidentally see the daughter of the Hessein family appearing in a famous pleasure establishment on Black Street…”
