Chen had been searching for the Grand General for so long, and he was actually with Swain. Chen was a bit overwhelmed.

"What's going on?"

If he had known earlier, Powder wouldn't have been taken!

Du Couteau stroked his stubble and said calmly, "This was a plan I made with the Grand Leader. After the Battle of Placidium in Ionia, we both saw through the old Noxus."

Swain echoed, "The royal family was incompetent, ruthlessly sacrificing countless Noxus soldiers. If the Ionian people weren't pacifists and didn't seek revenge, the entire Noxus would have been in danger."

Chen deeply resonated with this. In the League of Legends storyline, Noxus's invasion of Ionia initially achieved great victories.

Then, some god-tier figures appeared in Ionia, such as Irelia, the fifteen-year-old girl who danced with blades, Zed, the Master of Shadows who could kill invisibly by controlling shadows, Master Yi, whose figure was untraceable in a crowd, and Karma, who could wipe out an entire Noxus warship with a casual wave of her hand.

How could that war be fought? Moreover, Swain hadn't acquired demonic power at that time.

Chen muttered thoughtfully, "Unless you send Sion to fight."

Swain heard Chen's quiet murmur and kept it in mind, but pretended not to hear.

At that time, the emperor, in pursuit of immortality, forced Noxus to fight Ionia, which resulted in a crushing defeat, with almost the entire legion annihilated.

Thus, Swain and Du Couteau chose to unite and overthrow the Noxus that was seemingly controlled by the royal family.

Of course, they later shifted their main enemy to the Black Rose.

Chen suddenly understood, "So, Du Couteau, you've been hiding all these years for this day!"

Du Couteau nodded without a doubt; Chen had already figured out their objective.

The disastrous defeat in Ionia, the disappearance of Grand General Du Couteau, and the lack of anyone to stabilize the military morale, gave Swain the opportunity to rally others for a revolution.

As long as Du Couteau was present, the Noxus army would remain stable. Therefore, Du Couteau did not hesitate to hide beside Swain as a mere guard!

"It truly is you, the far-sighted strategist of Noxus!"

Chen still had some admiration for Swain; he was indeed formidable.

"Boring!"

Chen waved his hand in dissatisfaction and prepared to leave.

Swain asked from a distance, "Where are you going?"

Chen immediately replied, "I'm going to find Talon and Katarina."

Swain and Du Couteau watched Chen's departing back.

Swain asked, "What do you think of this kid?"

Du Couteau stroked his chin, "What do I think? He has a promising future."

Katarina and Talon were already at the Imperial City gate. They requested to see Grand General Du Couteau, but now that the news of Du Couteau's return had spread, there were many people wanting to see him, so he simply wasn't seeing anyone.

But Katarina and Talon currently had no right to enter the Imperial City, and they couldn't stand it, so they ran back to that sewer.

They had only walked a few steps when they heard a man's voice, "Here you are. I knew you would come this way."

Chen walked out, looking helplessly at Katarina and Talon. It really was hard on them, searching for so many years only to find him here.

Chen told them everything.

Talon breathed a sigh of relief; he could finally find his Grand General.

Katarina also felt relieved. Since her father and Swain were allies, it was fine for her to join Swain's subordinates.

"Don't forget what you promised me," Chen whispered to Katarina.

Katarina didn't intend to break her word, but she retorted, "What about Powder?"

"You find a chance to get me out of the city. Swain is watching me very closely now, and LeBlanc is also watching me. I have a way to find Powder and escape, as long as you quietly get me out of the Immortal Bastion!"

Chen had already thought of a plan these past few days.

Katarina nodded, and Chen then led them to meet Grand General Du Couteau.

After sending them to meet Du Couteau, Chen returned to his room, opened the system, and prepared to claim his system rewards.

But he found that two of his missions were already completed. Chen was shocked; why were two missions completed?

He first opened the first mission:

"Side Quest: Assist Janna in recovering her power. (Completed)"

"Reward: White Mage Emblem."

Chen was overjoyed. It must be Janna from his home in Zaun who had almost recovered, which is why the system prompted the mission as completed. At least Zaun's future was saved!

And there was a reward. Chen quickly put away the reward.

White Mage Emblem: The wearer gains the White Mage bond, +150 Health.

Chen directly threw it into his equipment slot, and at this moment, the system actually popped up a notification:

"Congratulations on acquiring a new profession: White Mage. You can now acquire magic-type skills."

With magic, he would have the capital to contend with Swain and LeBlanc.

"System Notification: Congratulations! You have acquired Darius, the Hand of Noxus's basic skills: Hemorrhage, Decimate, Crippling Strike, Apprehend!"

Chen suddenly cursed loudly, "Damn it, why are they Noxus Hand's crappy skills, and one of them is a duplicate!"

Decimate goes without saying; he already had it. Now he had all of Darius's skills, except for his ultimate, Noxian Guillotine.

Hemorrhage: Your attacks severely wound enemies' arteries, causing them to Hemorrhage, dealing 20 + 0.3 AD physical damage over 5 seconds. This effect can stack up to 5 times.

When an enemy champion has 5 stacks of Hemorrhage, you enter a 5-second Blood Rage state, gaining 100 bonus Attack Damage, and your attacks immediately apply 5 stacks of Hemorrhage to enemies.

Crippling Strike: Your next basic attack deals 40 / 45 / 50 / 55 / 60% of your total Attack Damage as bonus physical damage and slows the target by 90% for ***.

Apprehend: Passive: You gain 20% Armor Penetration. Active: Pull all enemies in a cone towards you and slow them by 40% for ***.

Chen sighed, "At least I can activate Blood Rage now."

As Chen was feeling dejected, the system suddenly popped up a notification:

"System Notification: Due to a skill overlap, the overlapping skill Decimate will be randomly replaced with a basic skill from a Noxus hero."

Chen was overjoyed, "Quick, quick, quick!"

"System Notification: Congratulations! You have acquired the skill Noxious Blast."

This was Cassiopeia's Q skill. Chen was delighted; he had magic damage now!

Noxious Blast: Explodes an area with venom, damaging enemies. If an enemy champion is hit, you gain 40 Movement Speed, which decays over 3 seconds. The venom deals total magic damage over 3 seconds.

And the damage was quite respectable, but the main issue was that he had no Ability Power, so without a bonus, he could only rely on base damage output, but at least he had magic damage!

With so many skills, Chen instantly felt his strength had increased by a notch. He was eager to try them out, and his confidence in rescuing Powder had grown significantly.

At night, Chen was about to go to sleep, but just then, he noticed someone had entered:

"Is it someone sent by Swain? Or LeBlanc?"

Chen pretended to be asleep, his hand quietly reaching for the battle-axe by the bedside...
