Eric Sinclair was finally satisfied. He placed a piece of deboned fish into Riley Perry’s bowl. "Try the fish. It’s very tender."
From its place on her wrist, Leo felt something was off as it watched this scene. "Master, is there something wrong with your man? He... he... why is he acting like this?"
Riley Perry’s lips curled as she glanced at the man across from her, communicating with Leo via Divine Sense. ’Of course he’s sick. A psycho. But it’s no big deal. In fact, I find it kind of exciting.’

After dinner, Eric Sinclair insisted on pestering Riley Perry to watch a movie with him. Since Riley didn’t have anything better to do, she accompanied him to his private cinema.

Eric Sinclair fumbled to catch the phone, his eyes carefully watching Riley Perry’s expression. "I... I can really look?"
Riley Perry lifted the covers and got into bed. "Of course. If you can’t, who can?"
Eric Sinclair looked down at Riley Perry’s phone, his eyes filled with joy. ’She’s actually letting me "check" her phone.’
"Sweetie, someone’s come forward to expose Vernon Jacobs and Gigi Walsh!" Eric Sinclair held the phone up to Riley Perry’s face so she could see for herself.
Riley Perry glanced at it casually. It was Justin Locke, who had posted what happened at the hot pot restaurant in Film City. The video started with Vernon Jacobs saying, "Riley Perry, we were in love once, after all. I know we wronged you before. Name your conditions. I’ll do my best to satisfy you, as long as you delete the video."
Then it cut to her own voice: "That’s nonsense. I was never in love with you. You were just so persistent and shameless back then that I couldn’t refuse and was forced to accept your pursuit. At the time, I figured since I’d never been in a relationship, it wouldn’t hurt to see what it felt like with you. But I never expected you to be such a scumbag and cheat on me outright!
What, are you starting to panic now? I haven’t even played my trump card yet!
Gigi Walsh, that guy who called himself Mr. Chen and offered Director Quinn twenty million to have me replaced—he was your lackey, wasn’t he?" The video ended there.
The clip was only a few minutes long, but it made who was right and who was wrong between the two of them perfectly clear.
Netizens are most active late at night, and as soon as this video dropped, all of Vernon Jacobs and Gigi Walsh’s rivals made their move. The insults they hurled were far nastier than the ones thrown at Riley Perry.
Gigi Walsh was completely oblivious and hadn’t thought twice about the post she’d made earlier that day. She was already fast asleep.

But he couldn’t do that. He would probably have to leave the entertainment industry after this incident. If he lost Gigi Walsh too, he would have nothing left. So, he was truly caught between a rock and a hard place.

When Eric Sinclair saw these comments, he once again shoved the phone in front of Riley Perry, who had already lain down. After taking a look, Riley Perry immediately made a new post: Here’s the proof you wanted!

At first, the video had no sound. The camera was shaking constantly. Then, a door appeared on screen. A pair of fair hands entered a passcode on the digital lock, and the door opened.
The first thing in view was a floor strewn with clothes, and a pair of red high heels toppled over by the entrance.
The image shook.
After a pause of about a minute, the camera moved closer and closer to the bedroom door.

The two panicked people inside were captured clearly on camera.
A scream rang out, followed by the woman in the video laughing triumphantly. "What are we going to do, Vernon Jacobs? Your girlfriend found out."
By now the camera was upside down and still trembling. "Riley Perry, listen to me..."
"Listen to what? That the two of you were studying a script in here?"
Vernon Jacobs was speechless.
"I never thought you were this kind of person!"
"Forget it. Since you’ve already found out, let’s just break up. What kind of compensation do you want? I can agree to anything within my power."
"That won’t be necessary! Just don’t bother me again in the future."
After speaking, the woman turned and left without a hint of reluctance.
