“Despicable! Despicable! I absolutely refuse to accept this! To think you would resort to such despicable means!”
After the passion subsided, Muen launched his protest at Ann.
Only, his tone lacked any real force.
Perhaps it was because he had just been thoroughly drained and had no strength left, or perhaps it was because, in his current completely naked state, he could hardly be said to be standing very tall.
“At times like this, the Young Master really is just like a child.”
A lingering flush still remained on Ann’s cheeks as she lowered her head and slowly dressed herself.
She had absolutely no intention of avoiding Muen’s gaze, while Muen glared right back at her—or rather, at her body—as if trying to recover at least a little of his lost pride that way.
But not only did Ann show no embarrassment whatsoever, she even kept throwing him teasing glances from time to time.
As if asking, Young Master, would you like another round?
Muen could not help baring his teeth a little.
He glanced at the crimson stain on the floor and cursed inwardly. Why were all these women so fierce?
Selicia could still go fight people after finishing, and Ann looked even less affected, as if she could still battle Muen for another three hundred rounds.
As for Muen, he looked like he had been squeezed dry.
In any case, nothing about him was getting back up for the moment.
Could it be that I am the one who is not up to the task?
That cannot be right. No matter how you looked at it, that had lasted more than two hours just now, and with the drug’s effects on top of that, Muen had felt so fierce it was ridiculous!
“So in the end, it really is because I am too weak. If I do not become stronger soon, then I will probably spend my whole life being dominated by these terrifying women!”
Muen gritted his teeth to himself and once again confirmed just how urgent it was for him to obtain power.
“It is getting late, Young Master. You should rest for a while first.”
Ann casually picked up Muen’s clothes and, as if she had returned to the role of his personal maid once more, bowed respectfully to him.
“I still have a few things to take care of, so please excuse me for now.”
“Wait!”
Muen cried out in alarm to stop Ann.
“You can leave if you want, but give me back my clothes!”
“Hmm?”
Ann tilted her head, seeming unable to understand Muen’s words.
“Does the Young Master still need clothes now?”
“Of course I do! I am a living human being! Are people not supposed to wear clothes?!”
“Oh? Has the Young Master already forgotten our previous agreement?”
“Agreement...”
“Yes, our agreement.”
Ann lowered her head and revealed an intoxicating smile, but within that smile Muen felt a darkness that made his skin crawl.
It was as though some indescribable monster were gazing at him from behind that smile.
“Young Master, you belong to me now.”
Ann spoke softly.
“That means I control everything about you. Even whether or not you need to wear clothes should be decided by me.
And my decision right now is...
Young Master, there is absolutely no need for you to wear clothes for the time being, is there? After all, besides me, there is no one else here.
And besides, the Young Master will probably be staying here for quite a long time.”
“...”
Even though he did not actually feel cold, Muen’s teeth had already begun to chatter.
Somehow, being watched by Ann with that smile felt even more terrifying than being stalked by a bloodthirsty beast.
“All right then, Young Master, rest easy. Once I finish dealing with everything, I will come back and play with you again~”
Ann rubbed Muen’s head, then left the place carrying his clothes with her.
Muen kept watching until Ann disappeared into the darkness.
...
“Is she gone?”
“...”
...
“Ann? Are you there?”
...
“Hello? Anyone there?”
...
“I know you have not left yet, so stop pretending!”
“...”
There was not the slightest sound in the darkness.
Only after confirming that Ann had truly left did Muen let out a sigh of relief.
Then his expression immediately turned fierce.
“What do you mean, I belong to you? I do not remember agreeing to anything like that!”
Well...
He did seem to vaguely remember that something like that had indeed happened while he was under the drug’s effects.
But that was because of the drug! How could that possibly count?
Could anything a man said while thinking with his lower half be trusted?
And whatever decision his lower half had made was his lower half’s business. What did that have to do with the upper half he was using right now?
If she wanted to arrest the little brother, what did that have to do with his brain?
Obviously, nothing at all!
So as for that latter half about “never leaving Ann forever,” Muen simply acted as though he had never heard it in the first place.
In any case, the most urgent matter right now was escaping this place.
He had no desire to really be imprisoned by Ann for the rest of his life like some doll!
“Heaven always leaves a way out. There has to be some way!”
Muen encouraged himself.
...
After calming down, Muen finally had the leisure to properly examine his surroundings.
This place seemed to be a basement.
The walls and floor were smooth, forming a standard square room.
Only a dim oil lamp overhead gave off a faint light.
Directly in front of Muen stood a set of cold iron bars.
Each bar was as thick as a wrist, and at a glance it was obvious that there was no way Muen’s scrawny arms and legs could ever bend them apart.
The barred door seemed to be the only exit. When Ann had gone out just now, she had even thoughtfully hung a lock on it that was bigger than Muen’s fist.
“Damn it, I am already chained up, so is there really any need to be this careful?”
Muen could not help cursing.
As for the other places...
Muen reached back to feel the wall, then rubbed the ground beneath him with his foot.
A chill immediately rose within him.
Metal!
The walls and floor of this basement were actually metal!
In other words, in order to imprison Muen completely and deny him even the slightest chance of escape, Ann had built a cage made entirely of metal!
There was no way Muen could imitate some famous movie and dig a tunnel to escape.
And the only opening in this place was...
Tilting his head, Muen looked upward.
In the farthest corner of the ceiling, there was a passage that was obviously some kind of vent.
Only, that passage was tiny.
The only thing that could probably get through it would be rats from the drains.
“How am I supposed to get out of this?”
Muen immediately felt despair wash over him.
A secret space made entirely of metal, with no guards and no escape route.
The only exit was the front gate made of iron bars.
But there was no way Ann could have forgotten to lock it. As the one she had served, Muen knew full well that Ann was a capable and meticulous maid who never made mistakes in anything she did.
And Ann was also the person who understood Muen best.
She knew Muen’s strength. She knew his habits.
She knew that Muen could not use magic and, aside from possessing the cultivation of a first-rank warrior, was good for nothing.
So Ann had not bothered with any fancy special lock or unusual restraints.
Instead, she had simply reinforced all the things binding Muen to the point that he could not budge them in the slightest.
It could be said that Ann had blocked every possible loophole in advance.
It could be said that she had completely strangled Muen’s intention to escape in the cradle.
And right now, Muen did not even have a way to break free from the shackles on his hands!
“Could it be that the only future left to me is to spend the rest of my life here as Ann’s possession?”
