The Villainess Cannot Escape — Five Beast Husbands Chase Her Madly

Chapter 218: Su An’an Chooses a Star Zone for Construction

On the Rebel Army Mother Ship, the conference room reeked of rust.

Louis knelt on one knee, his beastly claws scraping against the metal floor with a piercing shriek.

His chest, covered in Black Scales, heaved violently like a bellows, each breath laced with the stench of blood:

"Su An’an and Seville destroyed my contract! I’ll tear them to shreds and take Alita back."

Lord Red lounged languidly on the Crimson Throne, tapping a crisp rhythm against the bone armrest.

His uncanny purple eyes swept over the festering, pus-oozing scales on Louis’s shoulder, and a sneer escaped from beneath the Evil Ghost Mask:

"With that half-assed beast form of yours? A single purification hymn from Seville would melt you into a puddle of sludge."

Louis snapped his head up, the scarlet in his beastly eyes so intense it looked ready to drip:

"As long as I can win! As long as I can take Alita back! I’ll become any kind of monster, even a mindless, savage beast!"

"Still somewhat useful, then."

With a flick of his finger, Lord Red sent a scarlet potion flying through the air. It bounced twice on the ground in front of Louis.

The blood-red filaments inside the potion writhed like living worms.

"This vial of ’God-Eroding Potion’ will enhance your beast form,"

His voice suddenly dropped, laced with the temptation of a hissing serpent:

"Once you can withstand the sacred Purification Power of the Swan Clan, then you can come talk to me about revenge."

Louis snatched the potion and dragged his heavy feet into the dark corridor behind him, leaving a trail of bloody footprints.

Lord Red watched his disappearing back, his fingertips suddenly freezing on the bone armrest.

A low laugh echoed from the shadows of the throne, like the squirming of countless venomous insects:

"What’s the rush? The game has only just begun..."

Morning light, like molten gold foil, poured through the glazed dome and splashed across the palace floor tiles, casting a pale golden halo on Su An’an’s butterfly wings.

She lifted the hem of her skirt and curtsied to Queen Jelena. The markings of a newborn Monarch Butterfly swirled at the tips of her wings, as if ringed by a dusting of fine stars.

Queen Jelena strode forward, her fingertips gently brushing the edge of Su An’an’s wings. A rare softness rippled in her azure eyes:

"A Double S Constitution, and a fully awakened Monarch Butterfly," she chuckled. "My daughter, you are even more outstanding than I imagined."

Her gaze shifted to the Four Great Beast Husbands behind Su An’an, and the Empress was unstinting in her praise.

"Ying Jiuyao is commended for his protection, and Night Abyss for stabilizing the Empire’s internal affairs."

"Fei Zhao shattered the Rebel Army’s Star Network stratagems."

"And Lan Cangming’s ability to command the overall situation was crucial. None of you four have disappointed me."

Ying Jiuyao’s tiger ears immediately perked up, and his tail swished smugly behind him.

He deliberately bumped Lan Cangming with his shoulder.

"Hear that? The Queen herself praised my protection as the most reliable!"

Lan Cangming gave a soft cough, and an icy mist condensed into small Ice Crystals at his fingertips.

"Mind your decorum." Yet, he secretly tapped the heel of Su An’an’s shoe with the tip of his own.

Jelena’s gaze finally landed on Seville, lingering for a moment with a scrutinizing look before she nodded.

"Especially you, Seville."

"As a Swan Priest of the Alliance, to have given your all to help the Empire in its time of crisis... that sense of responsibility is worthy of praise."

"Hah!"

Fei Zhao’s nine fox tails suddenly fanned out like a firework, every strand of fiery red fur standing on end.

"Some people think they deserve all the credit just because they have a Purification Ability?"

His fox tails "accidentally" swept against Seville.

"The four of us have probably shed more blood than certain people have feathers!"

Night Abyss’s dragon tail wrapped around Fei Zhao’s ankle in warning, but his scales turned red from the heat of the Fox Fire.

Seville shot Fei Zhao a cold glance. "Not satisfied? Want to fight?"

"Fine by me!"

Sparks flew from Fei Zhao’s red eyes. His Fox Fire WHOOSHED half a meter into the air and collided with Seville’s Golden Light.

The resulting specks of light spattered onto Su An’an’s sleeve.

"Both of you, stop!"

Su An’an’s butterfly wings flared open, showering down pink-gold Phosphorus Powder like a meteor storm that instantly suppressed the two churning masses of Energy.

She lightly tapped the spot between Fei Zhao’s eyebrows, and his Fox Fire extinguished with a soft FIZZ.

"Keep causing trouble, and you can forget about entering my chambers ever again."

Fei Zhao’s fox ears drooped with a SWISH, and his nine tails limply wound around her wrist.

"I was wrong!"

Su An’an turned to glare at Seville, gently patting his Golden Wings with her own. "You need to tone it down, too. Must you really rise to his bait?"

Seville’s Golden Wings drooped slightly, their glow softening considerably in a silent admission.

The Empress watched this farce with a raised eyebrow, then suddenly tapped her Scepter on the floor.

"It seems my daughter is quite skilled at managing her Beast Husbands."

She shot a meaningful glance at Seville. "Especially the foreign Swan."

Seville’s Golden Wings stiffened for an instant.

Su An’an immediately hooked her pinky around his.

This proud Priest from the Alliance was only ever as docile as a fledgling to her.

"Anan, your title has been decided."

With a wave of her sleeve, Empress Jelena caused points of light on the Star Map to suddenly flare up.

Her finger traced the brilliant halo of the Seventh Star Zone. "As your fiefdom, these few Star Zones are all top choices."

"The Seventh Star Zone is rich in Energy Crystal Ore, enough for you to support a hundred fleets."

"The Twelfth Star Zone is abundant in resources, with an annual revenue of over a billion Gold Coins. Which one do you want?"

But Su An’an’s gaze drifted past those resplendent Star Domains.

It landed on a dim region at the edge of the Star Map—the B1 Star Zone.

It was like a dust-covered scar embedded in the border of the Empire’s territory.

’The tragic scene of the Empire’s fall in her past life suddenly flooded her mind.’

’The Rebel Army had torn through the defensive lines from this barren land, leading Mutant Beasts on a direct charge to burn the Imperial Palace to the ground.’

"I want B1."

Her voice was quiet, yet it rang with the clarity of an Ice Cone striking crystal, leaving no room for doubt.

The hall fell silent, so quiet that even the hum of the ventilation system became distinct.

Empress Jelena’s hand gripping the Scepter tightened abruptly. The bone-china head of the staff struck the golden floor tiles with a CRACK, leaving a shallow dent.

"Are you insane? The B1 Star Zone has off-the-charts radiation levels! Even Mutant Beasts can’t be bothered to stay there!"

"The Rebel Army knows the terrain there better than the back of their own hands."

"Do you want to turn your fiefdom into a springboard for the rebels?"

Su An’an swiped a finger across the Light Screen, and the real-time data for the Otherworldly Space’s Gang Vine popped up.

A pattern of emerald-green vines spread across the dim Star Zone.

"But they don’t know that the Gang Vine can devour radiation and blossom with hope in the harshest of lands."

She looked up at the Empress, her butterfly wings trembling slightly.

"Mother, on this land, I will build the Empire’s sharpest shield."

Jelena’s pupils contracted sharply. She slowly lifted the Scepter from the floor, the gem at its head reflecting her complex expression.

"Why must you choose this one?"

"I had a precognitive dream during my evolution."

Su An’an’s voice grew quieter, as if afraid of disturbing something.

"In the dream, the Empire’s fall began in the B1 Star Zone."

"The Rebel Army used the radiation zone there as cover to secretly raise a beast-form legion."

The Scepter in Jelena’s hand fell to the floor with a CLANG.

She stared blankly at Su An’an, her silver-gray hair tumbling over her shoulders, her face showing utter disbelief for the first time.

The Five Great Beast Husbands all turned to look at Su An’an, their eyes filled with shock.
