Zhang He shook his head and said, "Of course not. I’m just overseeing the construction work here. Once things have settled and the assembly workshop can run on its own, I’ll be heading back!"
"Good, I bet you can’t bear to leave your wife and kids. Once things settle down here, you should return to the security bureau. Being a branch director isn’t too shabby either!" Ling Feng laughed and said.
Zhang He glanced at him, smiled, and said, "Once I go back, I won’t work anymore. I’ll retire straight away and find a scenic spot to watch my kids grow up!"
"Really?"
Ling Feng listened in astonishment and widened his eyes as he asked, "Have you lost your mind or something? How could you have such an idea?"
"So what if I have? With you around, I won’t be of much help anyway. Can’t I just be a bit lazy?" Zhang He chuckled.
"No way!"
Ling Feng glared, "You’re not allowed to retire. Once things are clear here, I’ll find something for you to do!"
"What kind of work?" Zhang He asked.
"You’ll find out when the time comes!"
Ling Feng grinned, intentionally leaving it a mystery.
After that, he left Shallow Blue Star and then took Shui Ling to Lingyun Island.
Having never left the dimensional space before, once Shui Ling arrived, she found everything to be incredibly novel, especially the blue ocean.
Seeing her like this, Ling Feng said to her, "Since there’s nothing urgent, why don’t you explore our place for a while? I’ll arrange for someone to show you around so you can get to know the area well!"
"Sure, I’ve actually wanted to do that for a long time!" Shui Ling laughed.
So Ling Feng called Ah Min to act as a tour guide, giving her a chance to take a break.
After all, Ah Min had been doing a lot lately and was quite exhausted.
Once that was set up, Ling Feng took the time to return to Shiliu Village.
It had been a while since he’d been home, seeing everything clean and tidy indicated that Li Yumei had been tidying things up regularly.

"Boss, the Americans are bullying people again!" Shen Yuan said.
"Hm?"
Ling Feng raised an eyebrow and asked, "What’s happened?"
"It’s not directly related to us, but the Americans have gathered three aircraft carriers, plus 50,000 troops, and started a fight over in the Middle East with Stan Country." Shen Yuan said.
"Oh, why’s that?"
Ling Feng asked.
He wasn’t particularly interested, as American posturing wasn’t a fresh occurrence, and they hadn’t launched just a few wars.
But after hearing Shen Yuan’s description, Ling Feng found this affair excessive, as the Americans were acting lawlessly and needed to be checked!
You can’t bully people to that extent!
The matter began when an American media outlet released a news story; two reporters claimed they discovered Stan Country secretly developing weapons of mass destruction, allegedly with solid evidence.
Several American senators, armed with this so-called evidence, demanded that Stan Country immediately cease weapon production.
The lie concocted out of thin air naturally received no response, so the Americans, citing a threat to national security, demanded to send personnel into the country for investigation!
In order to prove their innocence, Stan Country agreed.
Unexpectedly, once inside the country, the Americans conducted an investigation and claimed to have found evidence, immediately announcing sanctions on Stan Country and demanding the delivery of destructive weapons to be destroyed by America!
What was there to hand over?
After a round of verbal bombardment in the media, the calculated Americans launched a war.
The motive was obvious; the war wasn’t due to any purported threat but rather because of the oil resources within the country!
Of course, resources alone weren’t enough to prompt American action; primarily, it was because Stan Country was disobedient and often opposed America.
If a superpower was hard to mess with, but even a small country couldn’t be dealt with, then Americans would find it hard to maintain their stance on the global stage.
That sums it up. Once Ling Feng understood, he said to Shen Yuan, "I’ll take it from here. Help me check out that media outlet, the articles’ reporters, and those senators’ backgrounds!"
"What do you mean, boss?"
Unclear of Ling Feng’s intention, Shen Yuan quickly asked.
"Such individuals are a menace; uproot them from their source!" Ling Feng said.
"Got it!"
Shen Yuan nodded, immediately hanging up the phone.
Ling Feng’s intention was clear; those soldiers invading another’s country were acting under orders, so to really resolve this matter, it had to be tackled at the root.
Shen Yuan had some foundation over in Washington D.C., so it didn’t take long for him to gather the intelligence Ling Feng needed.
Sending over the information, Ling Feng took a glance, memorized the faces, and then teleported to America.

Two days later, a journalist on the list committed suicide by jumping off a building, and several senators had scandals exposed, forcing their resignations.
The matter didn’t end there, though, as positions of senator were highly coveted by many politicians. Once a few resigned, replacements were instantly lined up.
Thus, the issue had more to follow.
On the East Coast of America, in the Giddes estate.
In the room sat seven people, each elder in their seventies, discussing certain matters together.
At this time, an elder named Pike spoke up with a grave tone, "Even if the Stan Country situation has been exposed, our troops have already landed, so we need to quickly come up with a new justification!"
"It’s simple, orchestrate a few attacks and demand explanations. Insist they capture the culprits, if not, we’ll pressure them by military means and capture them ourselves!" another elder named Ross said.
"In any case, our troops cannot withdraw, and the current government of Stan Country must be overthrown and replaced with one that listens to us!" another added.
These old men controlled major American conglomerates, even Peto had to heed their words!
Simply put, Peto was merely the puppet on stage, with many of his decisions dictated by these individuals.
As these elders discussed their plans, the room was suddenly filled with a deep male voice: "You old fossils, at your age, still plotting your schemes?"
"Who!"
Startled, everyone present leaped to their feet.
