When Ling Feng heard this, he felt it made sense as well, so he thought for a moment and said, "Even if your analysis is correct, I still find it unlikely."
"Whether it’s possible or not, you’ll know once you check it out!"
Shen Yuan smiled, then turned to the two-meter-tall strong man and said, "Take the brothers out and help Mr. Ling scout the area!"
"Okay, strategist, what’s the plan this time?" the strong man asked.
"The strategy is to scare the tiger out of the mountain," Shen Yuan said.
"Alright!"
The strong man nodded, and with a few of the gang members, he turned and left.
Ling Feng watched them leave, then clicked his tongue, looking at Shen Yuan with a bit of surprise: "What? Do you guys even have pre-set plans?"
"This is a contingency plan I made earlier, and they’ve been trained on it. So, no matter what happens, they have a planned solution to the problem!" Shen Yuan said with a smile.
Ling Feng was a bit speechless, looked at him, and asked, "Then what plan did you use when you brought people here today?"
"Uh, originally we were going to use ’Crossing the Dragon,’ a strong suppression tactic, but it turned out we were just worms, and you are the real dragon!" Shen Yuan chuckled.
Ling Feng laughed, "It seems your planned tactics aren’t foolproof after all!"
"There are always unforeseen circumstances!"
Shen Yuan also had a smile, not feeling embarrassed at all, but rather proud.
To him, to be thwarted by Ling Feng was certainly not a failure, but rather a kind of honor!
Ling Feng looked at this chubby man and suddenly felt a bit fond of him, thinking to himself that once things were settled, he should talk to this guy. If he could be brought back to work for him, it would be ideal!

Just as Ling Feng was about to commend him, Shen Yuan’s phone rang. Upon answering it, an alarmed voice came through: "Boss, something’s wrong! We’ve got trouble!"
"What’s going on?"
Shen Yuan was perplexed and asked in surprise.
"We went to Catherine’s house, pretending to be plainclothes officers as planned, intending to scare them a bit, but we ended up attracting the military. We are now surrounded!" the voice on the other end explained.
"The military?"
Shen Yuan’s voice shot up several pitches, asked in astonishment: "How is that possible?"
"We don’t know, strategist, what should we do now?" the person on the other end asked.
Ling Feng had already heard and grabbed the phone: "Don’t panic, just stay where you are, do not resist or leave with them, I’ll be there soon!"
Saying this, he handed the phone back to Shen Yuan, then told Jess: "Get the car ready downstairs!"
"Ling, Mr. Ling, you’re not actually going to the scene, are you?" Jess asked in astonishment.
"That’s right, I can’t not go!"
Ling Feng gritted his teeth and squinted his eyes.
Once the three were in the car and Jess had driven away, Shen Yuan asked: "Mr. Ling, didn’t you miss some details earlier by not informing me?"
"Indeed, Catherine’s brother used to be in the navy!"
Ling Feng frowned tightly, faintly sensing something.
Shen Yuan, being sharp-minded, quickly identified the key issue: "Those soldiers appearing so suddenly were evidently prepared, but it seems they were waiting for someone else and found only my men instead!"
"Exactly, the one they were waiting for should have been me!"
Ling Feng nodded and said in a deep voice.
Shen Yuan looked at him: "Mr. Ling, since you understand this, are you sure you still want to go personally? I know you have capabilities and courage, but after all, they’re the American military. Shouldn’t you reconsider confronting them head-on?"
"There’s nothing inappropriate about it!"
Ling Feng snickered and continued, "I’m curious to see what tricks they have up their sleeve!"
Hearing this, both Shen Yuan and Jess swallowed hard, feeling somewhat anxious.
But the car continued to drive out of the city, heading straight to the small town where Catherine’s house was.
Before reaching the place, they saw many vehicles ahead, all dark green military trucks!
The sheer scale of it left Shen Yuan and Jess dumbfounded.
Ling Feng glanced at the two: "If you’re afraid to go further, you can stop here. I’ll walk over myself!"
Shen Yuan hesitated for a moment, then shook his head: "No, the people surrounded inside are my brothers; how could I stay outside and not go in!"
"Very good!"
Ling Feng nodded, showing approval, and continued, "Don’t worry, follow me in, it will be alright!"
The car had already reached the perimeter, only to be stopped by two armed soldiers, one of whom informed Jess that further passage was prohibited!
"Park the car by the roadside, let’s go on foot!"
Ling Feng said as he stepped out of the car, his figure disappearing in an instant.
Those two soldiers sensed something was amiss, but it was too late; before they could adopt a defensive stance, he had already immobilized them with a touch.
Then, with his hands behind his back, Ling Feng passed through the checkpoint.
Shen Yuan and Jess exchanged a look and quickly followed suit.
Soon they reached the outskirts of Catherine’s house, where dozens of soldiers surrounded the building, calling out to those inside.
Ling Feng surveyed the scene briefly, quickly spotting Scott, and let out a cold chuckle, "So, it’s this kid’s doing after all!"
"Is that Miss Catherine’s brother? If he orchestrated this, maybe his sister is still inside the house?" Shen Yuan speculated.
As soon as Ling Feng heard this, he extended his Divine Sense, sweeping over Catherine’s house.
The results were surprising; indeed, he found a hidden small space in the basement of the house, with Catherine inside!
