"So what do you suggest we do, boss?" Rick asked.

"Let’s prepare for the worst-case scenario. If they do attack us, after dealing with them, you won’t have to go back; just come with me to Huaxia instead!" Ling Feng said.

Rick and the others looked at each other and nodded!

The group went outside, and Ling Feng took out his phone and called Lin Xue.

"What’s up? Have you left already?"

Upon connecting, Lin Xue asked with a smile.

"No, there’s been a bit of a mishap here. The survivors all plan to follow me now!"

Ling Feng chuckled and continued, "Things have gotten a bit complex. There’s already a rift between the investigation bureau and the Roth Family, so we were just told a special plane would pick us up, but I suspect the investigation bureau might be planning to silence us!"

"Do you mean, they’re afraid the Roth Family will keep pursuing, so they decided to end it all?"

Lin Xue, being very astute, immediately grasped the situation’s essence.

Ling Feng nodded, "That’s it, so I think to be safe, it’d be best to have Fei’er come over since with her presence, even if the other side uses some massive weapon, Little Hong can detect it in advance, right?"

Ling Feng chuckled; he opted not to reveal to them his knowledge of this being one of his Secret Realms. He figured he could mention it later when the opportunity arose.

A moment later, a flash of white light appeared before the group, and then Ling Yao, dressed in a white dress, appeared, startling everyone to take a step back.

With her enchanting eyes sweeping the crowd, Ling Yao then looked at Ling Feng, "I’m here!"

"Right on time!"

Ling Feng grinned, stepped forward to grasp her hand, and whispered, "I’ve missed you a little!"

"Oh, stop it!"

Ling Yao rolled her eyes at him, then asked, "Have all these people pledged their allegiance to you?"

"Yes, they witnessed my skills and saw the statue, so they’ve decided to follow me from now on!" Ling Feng said with a smile.

"I see it now!"

Ling Yao nodded, "Okay, I’ll escort you back first!"

"Just come with me; the Trans-oceanic Teleportation Array is almost complete. We can teleport back home together later!"

Ling Feng held her hand, seeming reluctant to let go.

Ling Yao thought it over and agreed, "Alright, I’ll go with you then!"

Watching this ethereal-looking woman, Rick and the others were utterly dumbfounded.

If Ling Feng hadn’t turned back to call out to them, who knows how long they would’ve remained stupefied!

Seeing Ling Feng and Ling Yao walking hand in hand, Rick and the others looked at each other, each filled with envy, "That’s our boss for you, having such a beautiful girlfriend!"

As they entered the forest, they quickly returned to the entrance. Seeing the equipment still running, a thought occurred to Ling Feng, and he turned to Rick, "Can I take this stuff with me?"

"Of course, no problem!"

Rick nodded, "When I get back, I’ll say it was destroyed by the Roth Family; no one will investigate it!"

"Great, thanks a lot!"

Ling Feng grinned, and after the instruments were shut down and packed, he collected them up!

Bringing this back will undoubtedly delight Han Wancheng!

Satisfied, Ling Feng waited for Rick and the others to clean up the camp before leading the group on their return journey.

The journey was silent until they reached the prearranged boarding area, where Rick said to Ling Feng, "Boss, we’ll have to wait a bit for the plane to arrive. What should we do now?"

"Nothing, just wait!" Ling Feng replied.

Rick was puzzled, "Shouldn’t we find a place to hide, in case of an attack?"
