"Your daughter?"

After the initial shock, everyone realized that this was something Li Fei’er’s father had said, and it was not yet confirmed. It could possibly be a lie to scare the child and not be taken as truth.
So, the best course of action was to look into it further.
Meanwhile, Yu Mei had finished her phone call and was walking over furiously, "Mr. Ling, I’ve informed the lawyer and the police. Li Fei’er is under sixteen years of age, and I am her legal guardian. You have no right to detain her!"
"Oh? Playing with the law?" Ling Feng was taken aback for a moment and then asked with a cold laugh.
"I am a Huaxia legal citizen; of course, I want to solve this through legal means!" Yu Mei said loudly.
Ling Feng was speechless, looking at her face, "If that’s the case, why did you just come with more than a dozen people, trying to take her away by force?"
That remark choked Yu Mei, leaving her speechless, at a loss for what to say!
"Bullying when strong, talking about the law when weak; you play the double standards game quite smoothly!" Ling Feng scoffed coldly.
The comment struck Yu Mei’s heart, her face turning pale, nearly fainting!
She had thought that Ling Feng was just some slightly handsome ordinary farmer whom her daughter had been coaxed away by.
But now Yu Mei finally realized her mistake!
He was not simple at all.
However, with so many people watching, she definitely couldn’t appear weak, so after a cold laugh, she said loudly, "No matter what you say, I am definitely taking Li Fei’er away today, unless you want to resist the law and fight the police!"
