Chapter 594 Free Labor
Ling Feng listened and his face immediately lit up with anticipation, "How is it magical?"
"It’s not convenient to demonstrate here. Shall we go to the Second Layer Heaven?" Wang Wan’er suggested.
"Sure, let’s go!"
As soon as Ling Feng finished speaking, he took her hand and walked away.
Just then, the Giant Spirit Root suddenly called out, "Wait!"
Ling Feng paused in his steps and turned to ask, "What’s wrong?"
"You’re not planning to immediately send someone over to enhance their realm, are you?" the Giant Spirit Root asked.
"Yeah, pretty much within today. Is there a problem?" Ling Feng asked.
"I’ve used up too much of my Spiritual Power. Just a heads-up, don’t blame me if the effects aren’t satisfactory!" the Giant Spirit Root said.
Ling Feng was startled for a moment, then laughed and scolded, "You’re even providing a disclaimer in advance. Don’t worry, I won’t blame you!"
After saying that, he pulled Wang Wan’er along with him and quickly left the Fourth Layer Heaven and entered the Second Layer.
Seeing the lush greenery all around, Wang Wan’er’s eyes sparkled, and her entire being seemed to glow with a peculiar radiance!
"You really do have an affinity with plants, even your eyes have changed now!"
Noticing this detail, Ling Feng said with a smile.
"Yes, in the Fourth Layer, I always felt uncomfortable. It’s only now that I’ve realized it’s because there were too few plants!" Wang Wan’er nodded in agreement.
"How about now? Hurry up and show me your ability. I can’t wait!" Ling Feng said, smiling.
Wang Wan’er looked at him, then pointed with her small hand, "Over there, five hundred meters away, there’s a wild rabbit!"
"Hmm?"
Ling Feng was a bit puzzled.
"Over there, under a tree four hundred meters away, there’s a Third Grade leaf ginseng that’s just flowered!"
"And there, there are several clusters of freshly grown mushrooms!"
Ling Feng seemed to understand, "So your ability is to use plants as your eyes?"
"Brother, you’re really amazing. You guessed it in one go!"
Wang Wan’er was visibly delighted.
Ling Feng felt the same. This ability might seem insignificant, but it actually had a great use. Without cultivating to a certain realm to possess Divine Sense, this was the best way to detect one’s surroundings!
With this ability, as long as there are plants around, no matter how the enemy tries to hide or camouflage, they won’t be able to escape detection!
Thinking of this, Ling Feng couldn’t help but ask, "Does this ability have any range limitation?"
"Right now, I can only observe within a range of about one kilometer. Beyond that, it becomes a bit strenuous," Wang Wan’er said.

Back at home, he heard a noisy commotion coming from the breeding area at the back. Curious, Ling Feng quickly stepped out of the back door and saw a group of people busy cooking!
"Where did you run off to, you rascal?" Wang Laogen asked.
"Had some business to attend to. Did you sleep well last night?" Ling Feng asked.
"Don’t play dumb, where did you go off to?" Wang Laogen looked into his eyes and continued to ask.
"Heh, do I have to tell you everything I do?"
Ling Feng chuckled but still refused to answer.
Wang Laogen wasn’t really trying to get a straight answer, knowing he had his little secrets, so he was just teasing Ling Feng.
Seeing that a big pot of rice porridge was ready, with the strong scent of rice wafting over, Ling Feng also felt his stomach growling, so he disregarded the roles of host and guest and hurried to serve himself a bowl.
During the meal, Ling Feng looked at the two elders, then at Zhang He and Lu Zihao, suddenly asking, "Does anyone have any plans for today?"
"Nope, coming to your place is like a vacation, just wandering around!" Zhang He said.
The others didn’t have any plans either and had no idea what to do.
Ling Feng smiled, "Since that’s the case, we might as well take advantage of the extra hands and help me out!"
The crowd was taken aback, "Help with what?"
"I’ll be transporting some meat later, you guys could help me process and package it?" Ling Feng said with a chuckle.
Zhang He was startled, then smiled wryly, "I knew it, you’re not the type to let things go to waste. We’ve only had a couple of meals from you, and now you’re already getting us to work!"
Ling Feng, caught in the act, felt no embarrassment and said with a thick face, "It’s for your own good though, you all wanted the kind of meat we had last night. I can’t prepare it all by myself while everyone else watches, right?"
"Ling Feng has a point. How about this, you go and transport it, and we’ll help you out," Chu Nan nodded and said.
Wang Laogen however, was not pleased and glared at him, "Easy for you to say, as a teacher, but why should we? Ling Feng isn’t giving it away for free; we have to pay for it, right?"
"So, what do you propose? Do you expect to get paid for the work?" Chu Nan glared back at him.
"Never mind about the wages..."
Wang Laogen chuckled mischievously and said with a sleazy expression, "I just request a little extra for myself; if I can’t eat it all, I can keep it as reserves!"
Ling Feng was speechless, "Old Wang, you’re going to live near me from now on. Are you going to lack meat to eat? What do you need reserves for?"
"That’s because you don’t understand. For those of us who have experienced hunger, not having some food stored at home leaves us uneasy!" Wang Laogen said.
Ling Feng understood his feelings upon hearing this, so he decided not to argue further, "Alright, I’ll give you a bit more then. Everyone will get their share!"
He really didn’t care about that bit of meat but was secretly grateful; there were so many crabs, sea turtles, and octopuses in the Fourth Layer Heaven. If he had to clean them all by himself, he’d be exhausted before finishing!
Lucky for him, there was free labor available, and he wasn’t going to waste it!
After everyone agreed, Ling Feng finished his meal and teleported to the Nine Heavens to find Ling Yao.
Entering the First Layer, Ling Feng paused, thinking he had gone to the wrong place!
The area had completely transformed, the grass had expanded, and the surrounding trees had changed. The gigantic walnut tree stood not far away, surrounded by various fruit trees and blooming plants!
And amongst the trees, there were now several wooden cabins!
Seeing this, Ling Feng couldn’t help rubbing his eyes, "Am I dreaming?"
Ling Yao had mentioned remodeling this place, but he hadn’t expected such an extensive makeover!
She had even managed to move that enormous walnut tree here; that was truly miraculous!
As he was taken aback, Ling Yao suddenly appeared in front of him, "What do you think? Are you satisfied?"
"More than satisfied, it’s an absolute surprise!"
Ling Feng said excitedly.
"That’s good to hear. Even if you weren’t satisfied, it wouldn’t matter because I don’t care about your opinion!" Ling Yao said.

Her habit of teasing him seemed to be routine now, and Ling Feng couldn’t help feeling speechless inside!
