Standing under the tree, four people looked up, their faces all frozen in amazement.

Ever since they had seen the tree clearly from several kilometers away, those expressions had been plastered on their faces, and not a single word had been spoken until now.

After quite a while, Ling Feng finally murmured, "Can this still be called a tree?"

It wasn’t that they hadn’t seen the world; it was just that this tree was too astonishingly tall.

The trunk near the ground was at least ten meters wide, which meant the circumference of the trunk might have already exceeded forty meters!

Chen Ping glared at him, knowing that Ling Feng had picked up on his hint, then stood up and went to the adjoining room where the weapons were stored.

After opening the cupboard and punching in the password to the safe, he took out a rectangular box.

Seeing this metal product, Ling Feng was curious and asked doubtfully, "What’s this?"

"This was originally planned for you last time, but then you got caught up with the Gatling, so this thing was left over."

Chen Ping chuckled, opened the lid of the box, and revealed the contents inside.

Carefully placing the gun and bullets back in order, Ling Feng flipped his wrist, and the box disappeared into his Space Ring. Then he said to Chen Ping, "Thanks, boss. I’ll be sure to thank you properly when I get back!"

"No need for that, just coming back safely is enough. Oh, and there are only twenty bullets, so use them sparingly. Don’t go shooting birds for fun!" Chen Ping advised.

Ling Feng rolled his eyes: "Am I that childish?"

"Judging from your rash decision to take on the General Bureau’s mission, indeed you are," Chen Ping retorted.

Ling Feng was speechless.

He didn’t stay at the bureau much longer and soon drove back to Shiliu Village.

Early the next morning, under the reluctant gaze of the women, he got into Lu Zihao’s car and waved to everyone, "Stay safe at home; I promise I’ll return as quickly as possible!"
