Yu Xuan didn’t go back to her room all night.

She was mostly afraid of waking Su Mu and getting caught.

After sleeping in Xu Yun’s room until dawn, she got up early and waited in the living room.

Su Mu came out of her room, looked at the other woman, and pretended she didn’t know anything about last night.

She stretched, smiled, and asked, "When did you get up? I didn’t hear a thing."

"I’ve been up for a little while."

Yu Xuan replied calmly, "Miss Su, why don’t you sleep in a little longer?"

"Couldn’t sleep. I have trouble with unfamiliar beds."

Su Mu glanced toward Xu Yun’s bedroom and asked, "And Xu Yun? Not up yet?"

"The Boss is still resting."

"Last night must have been pretty tiring."

Su Mu muttered to herself, then asked, "Want to go out for breakfast together?"

"No, thank you. I’ll wait for the Boss to get up."

"Don’t wait for him. He probably won’t get up until the sun is high in the sky."

Su Mu took her hand and said, "Let’s go find something to eat. We can bring something back for him, too."

"Alright."

Yu Xuan awkwardly followed Su Mu out. On their way, Su Mu suddenly asked, "You know about my relationship with Xu Yun, right?"

"I do." Yu Xuan nodded.

Yu Xuan replied, "I won’t say anything without the Boss’s permission."

As she spoke, Su Mu took a box of pills from her bag, handed it to Yu Xuan, and said, "Remember to find some water and take this later. Better to be safe."

"He is."

"Then why are you still with him...?"

"I’m in it for the money. The Boss is very generous to me, and I can’t refuse any of his requests."

Yu Xuan was silent for a moment, then replied, "Miss Su, if you and the Boss really get together, you just have to say the word. I’ll take the money and leave."

After this simple heart-to-heart, the two of them ate the breakfast prepared by the hotel, with no ill feelings between them.
