The Lady's Butler: I Reincarnated To Serve The Villainess

Chapter 59: Class One’s Weirdos

"Did you see the prince?" A student whispered to the other, "he’s handsome isn’t he? I wish he would just look my way, I’d die happy."

"Are you dumb?" The student by her side replied, "didn’t you see that he already had someone walking by his side?"

"A girl can dream," the first girl replied with a smile on her face.

Behind them, Renelle calmly walked with her butler by her side. She was back to her cold persona which was a contrast to her emotions going hay wire last night due to the bracelets.

Every student she passed by were repeating praises of either the Prince or the Saintess like a broken record, but it didn’t bother her much.

Not as much as she expected anyway.

Adrian, on the other hand, was completely uninterested in hearing praises about anyone, other than his lady, so he completely tuned them out.

The duo continued towards their assigned classroom only to be stopped by a crowd that had formed right outside the door.

Renelle’s brows furrowed slightly as her gaze swept over the gathered students blocking the entrance.

"What now?" she muttered under her breath.

Adrian didn’t answer immediately, instead he let his shadow disconnect from his feet and get beneath the crowd.

Before any of the students could understand what was happening, the shadow enlarged, cocooned them all and simply moved to the side.

The students, when released, were frozen stiff at how easily someone had just moved them aside like they were nothing.

A few of them turned around with wide eyes as they tried figuring out what had just happened.

A few gazes landed on Adrian, but they immediately looked away.

Some instincts were simply too strong to ignore and that student is glasses was one it warned them to absolutely not cross.

Besides, they weren’t strong enough to be in class, they were just here because they heard they’d catch a glance of the Prince and his Saintess.

So there was no way they’d try to challenge a monster on the very first day of classes.

"Thank you," Renelle muttered as she walked forward, not even sparing them another glance.

Adrian said nothing, simply following behind her as if what he had just done was the most normal thing in the world.

With the path now clear, the two stepped into the classroom and their eyes immediately came upon the set of weirdos gathered together in Class one.

There was a girl in glasses that seemed to be quietly observing everyone with a scheming glint in her eyes.

Beside her was a tall boy with messy hair and an expression that screamed boredom, he seemed to want to do anything than be here.

Another was peacefully asleep.... nothing much could be said about him.

But even amongst these group of weirdos, there were two who stood out, a man with golden hair and a lady with chestnut brown hair.

The Prince and the Saintess.

They sat calmly, radiating so much aura that one would be blinded by it if they started too much.

The Saintess especially, had a gentle aura surrounding her as she looked at both Renelle and Adrian walked through the door.

A genuinely regretful expression appeared on her face as she watched Renelle enter and she seriously contemplated standing up and approaching, but decided otherwise.

A wise choice.

The Prince on the other hand, had a frown on his face as he looked at the two, he was certain that Renelle would start causing a scene again, but to his surprise, she didn’t even spare him a glance.

Instead, she calmly walked past him and towards a seat closest to the window, an action that was strange for someone of her reputation.

Even the students around seemed surprised, after all, most had heard of Duke Ardent’s daughter’s obsession towards the prince.

Were those rumors false?

"Interesting," the girl with a glasses whispered under her breath as she adjusted the them.

The Prince glanced towards her for a while, but there was no change, she didn’t even acknowledge him.

It was a surprising change, but definitely not an unwelcomed one, since he would finally be free from the headache known as Renelle Ardent.

His father just needed to officially recognize the annulment.

The Prince, Lucian, turned forward but not before locking eyes with the butler and although the servant’s expression remained neutral, it annoyed him for some reason.

Besides, Lucian didn’t like that man one bit, especially after that barely hidden threat he gave during the ball, but doing anything about it right now would be troublesome.

BANG!

Pulling their attention from Renelle, someone suddenly burst through the door, slamming them to the side wall.

"This is class one right?" A boy with bright red hair asked as he looked around, only for his gaze to immediately stop on Adrian.

Adrian held in the urge to sigh as he saw who had just walked in. He had somehow forgotten that this idiot was also in class one.

"So we’re in the same class," The red haired boy, Darius, said with a grin, "that means you have no choice now but to fight me."

Some students, even the one that was bored, leaned forward in interest.

A fight on the first day?

That was far more interesting than anything the lecturer could offer.

Adrian, however, didn’t even bother looking at him, "not interested."

That only made Darius’ grin widen even further.

"Too bad," he stepped forward, the air around him started growing hotter, "I am—"

"Keep it down," a low voice suddenly interrupted his words, causing the students to turn in the opposite direction of Adrian.

The one that had spoken up was the student that had previously been asleep, right now, he seemed pretty annoyed, but at the same time sleepy.

"Make me," Darius said, if Adrian was unwilling to fight just yet, he might as well find a replacement for now.

The moment those words left his mouth, a heavy pressure suddenly covered the entire classroom.

But instead of backing down, Darius matched the pressure with his as he looked at the sleepy student with a grin on his face.

A few weaker students were already struggling to breathe under the clash of pressures.

But just before things could escalate, the classroom door opened and in walked a man with neatly arranged black hair and a black robe with the academy’s logo on it.

His most prominent feature was the scar that ran through the left side of his face but it took nothing from his handsome looks.

If anything, it made him look even more manly.

The students’ eyes followed him as he calmly walked up the podium, put down the magic tool and papers in his hand before finally looking up.

He only said a single word and the pressure covering the room immediately dispersed.

"Sit."
