Chapter 46: Blonde
At this point, the reality that Kai was toying with the leader seemed to settle in his mind, his grip on his blade tightened, as the rage spilled, and yet not a single step was taken, as though his body halted, he looked at Kai, teeth grinding against each other.
"Come on boss, what the hell are you doing?" A voice cut through the air, the type that nudged you to make the wrong decision, it was the voice of one of his followers, eager to see their boss win despite beholding him losing.
"Tch." The leader clicked his tongue, anger rose in him as he stood, but not for the reasons one would think. He was enraged by the fact that he could not walk away from Kai, his pride and position held him bound, he was like a prisoner to his own greatness.
Kai saw this hesitation, he decided to build on it and push even more. "You can back down if that’s how you feel, the eyes and talks of your men do not decide for you." Kai spoke straight, his gaze not faltering, carrying a very heavy amount of confidence behind it.
"Tch, who is this guy? He can’t be some weakling at all, the confidence in his tone, the way he fights, tch, I don’t stand a chance no matter what I do.
And then there is this eerie feeling deep inside me that he hasn’t gone all out against me yet. I felt like I was finally catching up to top players, yet here I am, faced with someone that I can’t even fight against, talk about cruel."
The leader looked up, he took a deep breath, "haha, regardless of how strong you are, there is sadly no backing down." He spoke with great confidence and a voice filled with eagerness.
"Sigh, foolish, but I respect it." Kai replied, and then stepped back. "If that’s how you feel, then I’ll end this now. Lightning fall."
The magical formation formed in the sky above, its glow illuminating like a small sun, its presence drew instant attention, everyone looked up in awe and shock.
The lightning fell from above, slamming into the leader, not even allowing him to take a step, and in that moment he was gone, killed by the attack.
The followers watched in awe, and confusion, they saw their leader get taken out right before their eyes. They looked at Kai, fear filled their hearts, there was no way they would continue if something like this happened.
"He killed the boss." One muttered, not out of realization, but of fear for what Kai was, and what he had done.
"What do we do?" One asked, having the stance of a person that wanted to defy, yet was scared, all he needed was a nudge from one of his men and he would gladly throw away his life.
"Tch, there is nothing we can do, he fought lady Gamela, and now the boss is gone as well, we can’t stand up to him." A third said, his eyes held defeat, he knew that there was nothing that he could do against Kai, or that was his belief.
His words held the most water in the ears of the followers, and so every one of them looked at themselves and immediately bolted in every direction, praying that Kai would not follow their own path.
Kai watched them run, it was good content, his viewers were watching people that came to raid run from him right now, no better clip than that.

Kai looked at the chats, looking at his over ten thousand views, and more than a hundred gifts that he had gained in the time of the raid, and he couldn’t believe it. He was currently one of the biggest internet sensations.
The question of who this player was, was on the tip of everyone’s mind, and for the next few days, everyone would want to find who Kai was.
"I guess that clears it for here." Kai said, he looked over to Mira.
"Hey Mira, come, let’s go."
She nodded and then got to her feet, rushing to meet him.
"We are almost done with clearing out the town, I’m pretty exhausted myself, but we have to handle what’s left of the raiders." He stated, stretching his shoulders back a bit, they popped like bubbles, feeling free immediately after.
He and Mira charged ahead, they moved through the town extremely fast, managing to take down raider after raider. It wasn’t even hard, he passed through, took them down and went off.
With Mira, his stamina was unshaken, and he managed to clear out a huge number of raiders very fast.
After everything, he still had not finished, meaning the raid wasn’t over, so he kept moving until he saw a group of raiders surrounding a lady, she wasn’t a player, she was an NPC, her hair was blonde, shining like gold even as blood stained it. She flowed beautifully as the sword in her hands ripped through the raiders, her blue eyes carried calmness and yet a terrifying power.
She wasn’t dressed in armor, but a casual shirt, that wrapped around her well, and some brown leather pants, showing that she wasn’t here to fight, but was somehow pulled into the fight.
"Ahhhhh." A raider cried as his arm was ripped off, he looked at her in anger, "how the fuck is the bitch NPC this strong?" He yelled.
The others tried to attack as well, only to be cut up and left dead, Kai didn’t even need to move, he stood watching in awe as she finished killing off every single raider.
Her hair flowed down perfectly, she took a deep breath and then looked up, her eyes landing on Kai.
He lifted his hands to wave at her, but before he could say a word, she charged at him, coming fast, thrusting her sword right for his chest.
