How Could I Possibly Have a Daughter After Reincarnating?

Chapter 205 : I’m a Tsundere

"Hey, are you guys starting your study session? Let me join too!" Li Meng asked cheerfully, watching her sister and Ling Ning preparing to head into a room to study.

Although she and her sister attended different schools, their academic performance was about the same. With the college entrance exams approaching, Li Meng had been putting in extra effort but still had lots of questions. This was a perfect chance to get some guidance from Ling Ning, who, as she’d heard, was good at nearly every subject except geography.

Hearing this, Ling Ning looked a bit puzzled. “Are you sure? Do we study the same material at both schools?”

“No problem! The textbooks are the same; only the questions vary.”

“Well, alright then~”

Once Ling Ning agreed, Li Meng shot her sister a triumphant look, which nearly made Li Qian lose her temper.

With the addition of a third person, they relocated to the living room. Ling Ning sat in the middle, with Li Qian and Li Meng on either side of her. This way, Ling Ning could help them both effectively—and with her between them, the sisters would have a harder time starting any arguments.

"Ling Ning, could you look at this? I don’t quite understand it."

"Ling Ning, Ling Ning! Help me with this question first! I’m totally stuck on it~"

"Ling Ning, how do you translate this?"

Within a short time, Ling Ning was dizzy from the constant questions. She also noticed that the sisters tended to struggle with exactly the same topics, which was surprising.

Deciding it would be more efficient, she instructed both sisters to focus on the same subject, marking anything they didn’t understand so she could address it all at once. This was much better than switching back and forth—one doing language, the other math—and overwhelming her brain.

Feeling Ling Ning’s soft, pleasant fragrance, Li Qian unconsciously moved closer to her. By now, this was her fourth time inching over, and she was practically glued to her side.

Glancing past Ling Ning, she noticed that her sister was doing the same thing. From behind, all three appeared to be snuggled together.

Li Qian shot her sister a “Don’t push your luck” look.

Li Meng shot back an “Look at yourself” look.

The two began a silent battle of glares.

“Oh, enough! Are you studying or not?” Ling Ning noticed their blatant eye contact and wasn’t surprised. She’d thought they would just exchange a few looks, but they’d started a full-blown staring contest.

Seeing that Ling Ning looked ready to get upset, both sisters quickly quieted down.

"From now on, if either of you starts acting up, you’ll have to go downstairs and shout ‘I’m a tsundere’ three times before coming back to continue studying," Ling Ning said, laying down the law.

I’m not a tsundere! the sisters both thought indignantly.

After Ling Ning’s ultimatum, the two sisters finally settled down, attentively listening to her explain the key points. Seeing them behaving, Ling Ning relaxed.

For some reason, she started feeling a bit warm. Since they were all girls, she figured it didn’t matter and casually unbuttoned the top two buttons of her blouse, revealing a hint of cleavage.

Li Qian and Li Meng’s gazes shifted immediately from their books to Ling Ning’s chest. Straightening up, they realized they could see more this way, even catching a glimpse of her white bra.

Noticing their sudden change in posture, Ling Ning asked, “What’s with you two?”

“Nothing!” they replied in unison.

"Alright, let’s stay focused. After we finish this topic, we can take a break since it’s almost lunchtime. We’ll continue after lunch," Ling Ning said, checking the time.

Exchanging a glance, the sisters instantly shared a plan to drag out the session as long as possible.

When they wanted to, they could work together quite well.

As Ling Ning began explaining the next topic, the sisters turned into “helpless students,” suddenly unable to understand anything. Ling Ning was baffled—they’d been fine with harder concepts earlier. She couldn’t understand why they were struggling so much with this simpler material.

It took almost an entire hour to cover the topic, leaving Ling Ning nearly at her wits' end.

"Nice work," Li Qian signaled to her sister with a glance.

"You too," Li Meng signaled back.

“Whew, I’m exhausted!” Ling Ning stretched, relieved that the morning session was over. Although playing teacher had worn her out, at least it helped reinforce her own knowledge.

The sisters, however, were more captivated by the sight of her stretched-out figure, with the snug blouse enhancing her curves. They feared the buttons might pop off any second. Realistically, it wasn’t quite that dramatic, but the fitted blouse gave that impression.

“So, what’s for lunch?” Ling Ning asked brightly, clearly excited for her favorite part of the day—a free meal. She’d been looking forward to this moment all morning.

“I’ll cook lunch!” Li Qian declared confidently.

“Huh?”

Li Meng gave her sister a bewildered look. As a kitchen hazard herself, she knew Li Qian wasn’t much better. She couldn’t imagine what had given her sister the confidence to cook.

Ling Ning also looked surprised. She’d never known Li Qian could cook, even after all this time.

“Relax, just sit here and rest while I handle everything.” Li Qian sounded determined.

Last night, after tidying her room, she’d spent hours watching Heavenly Chef. She’d even gone to the market early this morning to stock the fridge with ingredients. Though she wasn’t aiming for a masterpiece, she figured she could whip up something decent.
