Chapter 163 : Ye Ye Is Still the Best!
"It's already this late?"
After tidying up the mahjong table, Ling Ning took out her phone and checked the time. It was almost midnight. She hadn't expected that a simple game of mahjong would make time fly by so quickly.
"Let's go to the hot spring! If we go now, there shouldn't be too many people~" Zhou Xiaoxiao suggested. She had been staying at the resort for a few days, so she knew exactly when it would be crowded and when it would be empty. Late at night like this, the hot spring was usually deserted.
The hot springs at the resort were open twenty-four hours a day, so they could go in anytime.
Ling Ning nodded in agreement. She had always wanted to try out a hot spring. Before her transmigration, she had even planned to soak in one during a trip, but then she had ended up experiencing the impossibility of transmigrating to another world instead. Now, it felt like she was finally achieving that long-forgotten goal.

After listening to Zhou Xiaoxiao's response, Ling Ning fell silent for a moment. Zhou Xiaoxiao made a good point, but there was something about going in without wearing anything that made her feel a bit uncomfortable.
After some thought, Ling Ning decided to go as is. It wasn't like she hadn't bathed with other girls before, and at this hour, it would just be the few of them in there. It should be fine... right?
With her mind made up, Ling Ning followed Zhou Xiaoxiao to the changing room. Sure enough, at this hour, the hot spring was completely empty, giving Ling Ning a strange feeling of having the entire place to herself.
Zhou Xiaoxiao, without any hesitation, stripped down and headed straight for the shower. You had to wash off before getting into the hot spring.
Seeing Zhou Xiaoxiao go ahead, Ling Ye did the same. She had always wanted to try out a hot spring, ever since she’d seen it in anime. The characters always looked so relaxed, and she was eager to experience it for herself.
With Zhou Xiaoxiao and Ling Ye already gone, only Ling Ning and Xia You remained in the changing room.
Ling Ning still hesitated, feeling somewhat self-conscious. Xia You, on the other hand, was reluctant to undress in front of Ling Ning because of all the scars on her body. She was afraid...
Ling Ning sighed in exasperation. It wasn't like she hadn’t bathed with other girls before, so why was she getting all shy now? After giving herself a mental shake, she finally stripped down and left for the showers.
Xia You only began undressing once Ling Ning had left. She looked at the scars on her body, feeling anxious. Would Ling Ning find her repulsive?
Biting her lip, Xia You took a deep breath and stepped out.
The hot spring was open-air, with a view of the snow-covered landscape. As soon as Ling Ning stepped out, a blast of cold air hit her, and the thin towel wrapped around her did little to ward it off. Shivering, she hurried over to the showers.
By the time she got there, Zhou Xiaoxiao and Ling Ye had already finished showering and were headed towards the hot spring.
Ling Ning gave herself a quick rinse, wrapped a towel around herself, and made her way over. Zhou Xiaoxiao was already soaking in the hot spring, while her daughter sat on the edge, hesitating.
"Ye Ye, what's wrong?"
"The water's too hot!" Ling Ye pouted. She had been so excited that she jumped right in without checking the temperature and almost got herself scalded.
Hearing her daughter's complaint, Ling Ning couldn't help but laugh. She shook her head and said, "Ye Ye, come here. Just put your feet in first, and when you get used to the temperature, slowly work your way in."
Ling Ye nodded, somewhat understanding, and followed her mom’s advice. It worked, and soon enough, she was fully immersed, her eyes closed in comfort, looking like a content kitten, utterly adorable.
"Phew~"
Ling Ning let out a sigh as she slipped into the hot spring, feeling her entire body relax. This was just too comfortable. Unfortunately, it was too late at night to see any of the views Zhou Xiaoxiao had mentioned. She said that if they came during the day, they could enjoy the stunning scenery.
Zhou Xiaoxiao opened her eyes and glanced at Ling Ning's chest, then looked down at her own flat figure. She puffed her cheeks in frustration. She had eaten papayas for over half a year, and yet nothing had grown—not her chest, not even her height. At this rate, she was going to end up like Luo Xiaoning, a forever loli even in old age!
No! She absolutely did not want that fate.
Eyeing Ling Ning, who was peacefully enjoying the hot spring, Zhou Xiaoxiao quietly got up, sneaking over to her. While Ling Ning was unaware, Zhou Xiaoxiao suddenly grabbed hold of her chest and began kneading, muttering under her breath, "Ling Ning, tell me, what exactly do you eat to make these grow so big?"
Ling Ning yelped in surprise, instinctively pulling away and covering herself, staring at Zhou Xiaoxiao with wide, fearful eyes. She had been half-asleep and had no idea what had just happened.
Xia You watched the scene unfold, a hint of jealousy flashing in her eyes. She had been planning to make her move, but Zhou Xiaoxiao got there first and was so... skilled about it.
As for Ling Ye, she had wandered off somewhere, exploring a different part of the hot spring. It was pretty big, after all.
"H-how would I know?! And what's the point of them being this big anyway?" Ling Ning grumbled, sinking back into the hot spring. She kept a wary eye on Zhou Xiaoxiao, ready to defend herself if needed.
"Hmph! I don’t want to talk to someone from the planet of giant chests!"
Zhou Xiaoxiao huffed, turning to Xia You for some comfort. However, though Xia You wasn't as well-endowed as Ling Ning, she still had more than Zhou Xiaoxiao.
"Pfft!"
Zhou Xiaoxiao clutched her chest, looking at Xia You in disbelief. How could this be? She had always assumed Xia You was just like her, but now it turned out Xia You was a hidden giant too? Damn it! Was it because Xia You always wore baggy clothes? Was there no place in this world for flat-chested people?
Ling Ye, having finished her little exploration, returned and saw Zhou Xiaoxiao looking utterly crestfallen. She had no idea what had happened.
In the end, Zhou Xiaoxiao, looking defeated, turned to Ling Ye. She realized that the only one she could compare with now was a child. It was the saddest of tragedies.
"Ye Ye is still the best~"
Zhou Xiaoxiao hugged a confused Ling Ye tightly. At least elementary school-level chests made her feel better about herself!
